Entrepreneurial Wealth

Blair Singer argues that environment and culture matter more than IQ for entrepreneurial success. He points to Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers and long-term studies showing how the people around you shape outcomes. Singer emphasizes joining learning groups, mastering presentations, and finding mentors as concrete moves that work.
Go live. Yes, yes, live. Good. Well, Happy Friday to wherever you are in the world. I and especially to the, the leadership tribe. Leadership tribe all over. Wherever you are. It's good to be talking to you live. I want to share something, a bunch of things I want to share with you, but one thing I want to ask you and I want to, I want you to ask some questions about it, give me your opinions and that's this. There's a book by Malcolm Gladwell, some of you may have heard of it, called Outliers. Great book, awesome book. You should read it. Okay. In the book what he says is, he said there was a study done back in the 1920s. I get this 1920s and they gave an IQ test to over 250,000 kids. And then they tracked these kids. No, what they did is they only picked the kids that were genius. IQ, genius, like over 140. I would definitely never be included in that group. But they tracked this group and because the theory was 1920s that if you were the smartest, you should, by the end of your life you should raise yourself to some sort of prominence and success. But you know what, at the end of the day, what they found out is that IQ had nothing to do with it. Had nothing to do with it. As a matter of fact, there were only like 10% of those people that actually did well. The rest of them were right across the board and a big percentage of them were actually failures. So what's the, what was this? What, what's the bottom line? The bottom line is Malcolm Gladwell says, look, if you come from poverty, you're probably going to be poor. If you come from a rich family, you're probably going to be rich. If you're middle class, you'd be middle class unless you change your environment, unless you change your culture. So I just want you, you know, if you, if you're around and I would like you to, to comment on that, if you can, you know, send your thoughts and questions about it because, you know, it's a really significant thing, you can work your you know what, off for the rest of your friggin life, okay? You could be the most honest person in the world, the hardest worker in the world, all, all that stuff. But you know what? There's something in your DNA. There's something in your DNA that predisposes you to follow on. As a matter of fact, he went on to say that if you take a look at your grandparents, your grandparents, right, you are most like not your parents, but you're Most like your grandparents, which is really fairly interesting because one of my grandparents came from the old school. He actually. He owned a tavern in Lithuania. And at the tavern in Lithuania, a Russian soldier got drunk and started hassling my great grandmother. They got into a fight, my great grandfather and him. And my great grandfather killed him. I don't think he meant to kill him, but he killed him. And so he wrapped the body up, buried the body, and escaped to America and sold rags in New York City and became an entrepreneur and was very successful. So it's like, am I a killer? Am I a convict? I don't think so, but I think that it adds to the whole idea of, like, where do you spend most of your time? Where do you spend most of your time? So I'm not seeing anybody come up. Hopefully there's people coming up here. If you've got comments or questions, please input them into our. Wherever you're at. If you're watching me on Facebook and Facebook. On Facebook or Twitter or YouTube, just click in here and give me your comment about all that stuff. Okay, so again, what. What do they say? They say, environment is stronger than will. Environment is stronger than will. I. So, Brooke, if you're out there, if I haven't clicked something to be able to see some. See people commenting, or maybe there's just nobody commenting, that's okay too, I guess. Okay. But I think that in this day and age, you really need to take a look at what you're working on. Right. What are you working on? I mean, if you're working on getting more skills, that's always good. But you also might want to take a look at working on the environment that you're living in, the people you surround yourself with. In other words, if you want to be a successful entrepreneur and you're hanging around employees, that's not a good idea. If you want to be an employee, that's fine. But hang around successful ones, the ones that do really well and make a lot of money. Don't hang around the ones that are not, if that's what you want. Because what happens is apparently there's what goes on in the environment gets infused into your language, into your habits, into your mindset, and controls everything that you're doing all day long. Okay, so again, what I would say is this is. I would just put that out to you. What do you think about that? Do you have any thoughts about that? Any of that? Okay, so again, just share it again, Obviously, subscribe. Check out the videos that we've got on YouTube. They're amazing. And give us a like or two. Okay. The other thing I want to talk about is I'm working with a group of entrepreneurs in a small group, about 50, 60 of them in Japan at 5am every morning this week. And one of the most. And one of the things that we. I've told them is the most powerful skill, the most powerful skill in 2021 going forward as an entrepreneur is your ability to broadcast your message to the world. Okay. And if you can't, look, the whole world has gone online. So if you're not online, if you're not online, you're out. Okay? If you're not able to broadcast in a compelling way with energy, with excitement, and they engage people, you're not a part of the game anymore. And so some people are going invisible. I talk to them almost every day. They're going invisible. They're panicking. What do I do? I'm falling behind. And if there's one skill that I have that I would never give up, no matter what, okay? They took everything away. And I had that one skill besides the ability to sell, it's the ability to broadcast to speak. We're doing a program called Powerful sales Presentations. You can see the link going down on the screen. Hello. Click on comments on the side so you can see them. Oh, okay, good. So click on comments on the side. Oh, there's a whole bunch of comments. Sorry, you guys. Second time, my excuse. Hi. From Slovenia, Evie. Hello. Hi. There we go. There you are. Okay, now I don't feel so lonely here. Very good. Okay, you're on point. That's. Thank you. Thank you very much. Tony Hubbard. Annika. Hi, Annika. How are you? Anika, one of my Kilimanjaro buddies. So again. So again, those two topics. I mean, why, why, why do you think it's a good, good idea to be able to present to the world? Why do you think that if you can broadcast, like, leverage at. Not at. At the minimum, to be able. The ability to broadcast to a thousand people as opposed to one at a time? I mean, the. The math of that is pretty. Pretty simple. The second thing about that is that. That there's another law of physics, and that is when you get on a camera, you're somewhat bigger than life. So people see you. You're the center of attention. You're big. And so the law of attraction now works. People are naturally gravitate toward you. What else? Your credibility goes up. All these things happen magically before you say anything, but if you let your little voice and the fear of doing it get in your way, that's a problem. So what I was saying. And how does this relate? When I started this broadcast, what I was talking about is the fact that what's more important than your IQ or your intelligence is your environment, your culture. I met with the rich dad advisors and Robert Kiyosaki yesterday. We meet every week and we discussed this at great length, Great length. You know, is it possible for somebody that comes from poverty to get rich? And the answer is not likely. Unless they change their environment, they change where they're operating from there. They go to a place where there's a different way of thinking, a different way of operating, a different way of learning. Right? So those of you that are trainers or want to be trainers, I've always said it's not so much what you teach, it's the way you teach it that changes people's lives. What is the context of the environment that you teach in? And is it sufficient enough to break people out of that old mode over time? And one of those things, one of those things is the ability to stand up and present. You know, we're taught to be humble. We're taught to not speak out. We're taught to, you know, keep to ourselves, do things on your own. That's 180° opposite from getting in front of people and speaking whatever you have to say. Right. So you understand that I read a study that said that fear of public speaking was greater than the fear of death. Yeah, death was number three on the list. What's number one on the list? Okay, number one is fear of public speaking. Number two is rejection by your peers or by people that you care about. So our concern about what other people think about us is of primary concern. And we would sacrifice our lives. According to the study, I think it was Georgetown University. So I'm just going to say that that powerful sales presentation is really designed. It made a lot of sense. Because when I coach people in programs like that, in other programs, and they get really stuck and they can't present and I say, do it again, do it again. And they. That's what I'm up against. I'm up against years and years and years of conditioning. Years of conditioning. And unless I'm able to blast through that in a supportive, nurturing, but intense way, they'll stay that way for the rest of their life. Because if they back away from it, it reinforces it one more time. I'll do it a different way. I'm different. But you know what? Every single One of you have a message to deliver, every single one of you. And the crime would be that you don't deliver it. So people don't get the benefit of that. And number two is you don't make money with it because you can help a lot of people, make a lot of money helping a lot of people. So, again, I'm just going to encourage you to, over the weekend to think about that. Where did you grow up? What were your grandparents like? What did they do? And if it wasn't something that you want to model, particularly, I would say you need to get on the stick right now and start changing the culture, changing your environment, hanging around in different places where people are supporting you to be who you want to be. Otherwise, you can wish, hope and pray. That's a very poor marketing plan, actually. Okay, anybody have any comments or questions about. Just type them in the chat box. Okay? Just type them in the chat box and we can bring it up. Who else we got here? Isaac, very nice. Gypsy. Gypsy04. Okay. You're welcome for the great information and the encouragement, you know. And from Vietnam, my good friend, Minhoa Bui. Okay. Very happy watching your precious, Sharing, loving, grateful for you very much. Wonderful teacher, Blair Singer. Thank you very much. That's very nice of you to say that. Okay. Good morning from Japan. Good morning from Japan. I was just in Japan. I was just in Japan a few hours ago. I'm gonna be there again tomorrow morning. Isn't it great? You know, on zoom, you can. You could do just about. You could be anywhere in the world instantaneously. Instantaneously. Okay, so again, those of you that are in, whoop, we got a dog going. Okay, so let me shut the door real quick because there's a dog barking. I'll be right back. Hold on. Go away. I'm still here. Okay, back, back. Okay, so, yeah, so what I was gonna say is that. That I believe. I believe that everybody has the opportunity to win. And. And everybody has the opportunity to be successful. And I think the answer to the question is, can somebody? Can anybody be rich? And the answer is absolutely yes. If. If you change your environment, change your context, it's not so much what you learn. There are plenty of people that don't know a whole lot but make a lot of money. Look, let me ask you a question. How many of you know people that don't make as much money, that aren't as smart as you, don't even work as hard as you, but they make more money than you do, then that upset you? A little bit. Well, why is it is because there's something about their culture, the way they grew up, the way they, the way their parents, their grandparents and where they come from that has an effect. 250,000 IQ tests. And they were tracked for 50 years, over 50 years, and that's what they found. And so I think that's, I think it. For me, I'm going to say, for me, that was a gigantic wake up call. It was a wake up call because I thought, you know, I'm doing, I'm, I'm working hard, I'm doing this, I'm doing that, I'm doing okay. But I thought about it, I'm going, well, geez, what about all that? So I started looking at it and I go, oh, my goodness, that's my dad. Okay, that's my grandfather. That's what. And I'm going, this is me. Or is it them? And it's both of us. So. So. But now that you're conscious of it, you can do something about it, right? As long as you're in the right environment. So anybody have any thoughts about that? Have any thoughts about that? By the way, those of you that want to shift your environment, those of you that want to shift your environment quickly, hell from Morocco, I'm assuming, Hamid. That means hello from Morocco, not hell from Morocco. So good to, good to talk to you. And again, please share this with other people. Subscribe to the YouTube channel. Share like it go to blairsinger.com and check out some of the amazing videos and courses that we've got there. Because we got a bunch and they're going up every week. We've got lots of them going up and they're new ones. So check that stuff out, please, and share it with other people. But if you really are looking for something that's going to shift your context quickly, it's going to be you doing what I'm doing right now, if you're not already doing it in a very big way. Why in a big way? Because if I have you do it in a big way, then when you get out of the training, the PSP powerful sales presentation training, if the pendulum swings out this far in the training, then when you go back to normal, you'll be right about here, which is a whole lot better than right about here. Because the worst thing you can do, the worst thing you can do is be boring. Boring does not work. Boring doesn't work. Okay? And every single one of you, if you're watching this, I know at some point in Your life, something lights you up, something gets the veins in your neck bulging here, you know, And. And it get. And it gets you going. And you want to be able to operate from place similar to that when you're selling, when you're broadcasting, when you're marketing, whatever it is that you're doing. But again, it's counterintuitive if you were never brought up that way. If you're. If you're never. If you're brought up to be shy, if you're brought up to be meek, or you say, keep your head down, don't make waves, all that stuff. It's not that you can't do it, it's just. It would not feel natural for you to do it. Okay. So, again, very transformational experience. Powerful sales presentations. Anyway, what else? What questions do you have for me? What questions do you have? Lesotho. Hello from Lesotho. Isaac. I don't know where that is, honestly. Gosh. Where is that? Green. Matthias Greens from Germany. Excellent. Thank you. Thanks for all the information, the great encouragement. Look, I encourage people who. I encourage people because here's what I know, and a lot of people tell me I'm a fool. A lot of people tell me I'm a fool. But I'm just going to tell you this. And this has cost me a lot of money, but it's given me hope, and that is that I have this firm belief that inside of everybody, everybody, there's the opportunity to be who you want to be. You can be who you want to be or be who you're supposed to be. And most people don't do it. Some people do, but I always see more. Let me ask you this question. How many of you have ever met. I'm sure you've done this. You meet somebody and you see more in them than they see in themselves. Maybe you've seen that with a teenager or a colleague or a friend. They don't get it, but you see it. If that's true, wherever you're sitting, just nod your head or type in the chat box. Type in the chat box. I've seen that. If you. If you've seen it, type in the chat box. I've seen it. I seen more in other people than they see in themselves. Yeah. Okay, Hamid, that's a good question. In order to change your environment, what kind of books do you recommend? Okay, so first of all, reading books, that's part of context. It's part of an environment. You would not necessarily read very many books if that was not part of your background or Your heritage or anything like that. But having said that, which you do, there's lots of. There's lots of great books. I'm going to say that you can never learn less. I think my personal experience at this stage of my career, after working with hundreds of thousands of people over the last 30 years, putting yourself into a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual experience is the best form of environmental training. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual environment. And at that point, what happens? The neurons in your brain are all firing together when you're reading. Unfortunately, when you're reading, Hamid, reading is good, and I do a lot of it. And when I read. If you see my books back here, I read them like three, four, five times, because every time I read it, I. It's like I never read it. So why. Why do I do that? And the reason, the problem with reading is it's what we call an auditory function. So what's that mean? That means on the. In the cone of learning, it's like the lowest. Sitting and listening and reading are okay, but your retention levels typically 5 to 10%, as opposed to at the other end of the spectrum. The other end, when you do the real thing. The real thing, that's like 90% retention. You see the difference. So, again, books are good, and there's lots of good ones. You know, I just talked about outliers. I talk. You know, I talk about. I read. I read about three. I'm reading three books at one time, so I read New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. It's a very spiritual book for me. I read the Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday. I read Napoleon Hill's new book. I read Malcolm Gladwell. I read Dr. Buckminster Fuller. So I'm always reading lots and lots of books, as you can probably tell back here. And all of them are good. But the thing that trumps everything is a live experience. A live experience. And again, I know it sounds like I'm pitching a little bit, but the PSP coming up in a week or so is one of those experiences. And you don't have to go anywhere. You just do it where you're at. You're at home. You're at home. You just do it there and lock yourself in a room for a few short hours every day for three days or four days, depending on what you've taken before, and you're good to go. You're good to go. That's like 25 books. Okay, so that's my answer to that. I hear very. I hear this very often from. Leaders are always Readers. Yeah, they are. They are. Because you can, like I said, because you cannot learn less. But do not, I repeat, do. There's a difference between digital content, which is in the form of reading, or audio or video that you just. You just basically read it or absorb it. That's one style of learning. The other side of learning is what I call facilitation. Transformational. Excuse me, facilitation. Very big difference. Very big difference. Great leaders that read a lot, they read a lot to support a wide range of very intense experiences that they're already experiencing. No great leader just sits in a room and reads books all day. They don't do. They just do that at all. They're doing something. They're working on something. They're pressing on a mission, they're pressing on goals. They've got teams working with them, and as they come up short and like, what do I need to know something for here? They'll find the book that's got the answer for them and that, and it helps prepare them forward. So I don't know what it is for you when it comes to getting what you want. You know, there are obstacles. There are roadblocks, and one of the roadblocks is just a gap in your knowledge section. Okay. I just don't know how to launch a marketing campaign. I just, you know, I get in front of a camera, I just don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. What am I supposed to say? Hey, so. So again, that's the time you can look for digital content, you can look for audio content, all those kinds of things. So hopefully that. That will help you. Amen. Good. Cape Town, South Africa Would you agree opportunities are harder now than it. What, Harder now than it was in 2015, or are they better now? You know what, think about it. 2015, that seems like a lifetime ago. I can't even. I can't even remember it. But. But, you know, here's what we could tell you. I. I know. Here's my answer. The best opportunities are right now. The best opportunities are right now. I mean, I'm sure there were plenty in 2015, but right now, things. With so many things changing and so many people have so many problems, if you can't find a problem to solve, you're not looking very hard. So I say that there's more opportunities right now. Now, is it a little more difficult? Yeah, probably a little bit more difficult because now you got to think and you need to have a team, you need to have people around you that can think of the things that you're not thinking about. Okay. But I think there are tons of opportunities. The number of new businesses has skyrocketed in the last year. Unfortunately, the failure rate of 95% in the first three or four years is roughly about the same. So. So what does that tell you? That tells you that people are jumping in without a lot of knowledge and they need training, they need education. So those of you that are trainers, are you thinking about it? That market is a very powerful market. Particularly if you have some level of success in a business or doing something already that that be great. So thank you for that. I think, you know, in South Africa you have your own sets of problems and you have some big ones, I grant you that. And my heart goes out to everybody in South Africa to be able to healthfully, successfully, in a loving way, if possible, to be able to figure out how to come through this crisis together. It's not easy. And you have a lot of environmental constraints. Some of them are physical, some of them are mental, some of them are governmental. There are all kinds of them. I understand it. But I think that my heart goes out to you. We have some very dear friends in South Africa. So I hope that you rally together as a great team and learn together. One of my teachers, Alan Walter said the most powerful thing in a time of crisis or the most powerful thing you can belong to at any time is what he calls a holistic learning unit. Holistic meaning covers all kinds of things from health to business to money to personal finance to little voice mastery Holistic learning unit. So it's a group of people you study with. Basically right now I'm doing. I'm conducting two book studies. We're studying Napoleon Hill's new book. We're studying Alan Walters book on paradigm shifts. And we love to study the rich dad advisors. We get together every week and study. We watch new videos every week and study. So you take a look at what successful people do and they belong to a group or a team. Ypo Young Presidents Organization, if you have one of those, and that's all over the world, they band, they come together and they learn together. And that's really. It's not spoken about, it's not taught in schools or anything like that. But it's one of the most powerful things that you can do to rise through and to see the opportunities that you're maybe not be able to see. So I think the best opportunities are right now. And I've felt that way my entire life. I just could Be open my eyes and be able to see them, if that makes sense. What other questions do you have? Okay, Matthias, how can I find a mentor to improve my environment? Oh, that's an interesting question, Matthias from Germany. So it's a great question. Let me think about that. Anybody have an answer for that? While I'm thinking about it, I think that, well, there's two. I'll just tell you the truth. The thing that jarred me about your question, Matthias, is this is you said that can change my environment for me. Okay, nobody's going to change the environment for you. You have to make the change. You have to go to the mentor. The mentor doesn't come to you. Okay, Okay. A great mentor is going to have their own environment and you choose to step into theirs. And any good mentor that is successful is going to have a different environment than you have if you're not successful. Does that make sense? So I would say that. Be careful. I probably should not say this, but I'm going to say it anyway. Okay, My social media person may not like this, but I'm going to say it anyway. And that is this, is that in the training industry, which I'm a part of and many of you are part of that, there are hundreds of thousands of people marketing their wares and marketing their training and many of them are very, very good. But some of those people are much better marketers than they are teachers. That's what I'm going to say about that. And I think that you got to be very careful about that because I've seen people go off and follow a mentor that really wasn't teaching them very much and they started modeling them and they wondered why it blew up in their face. Okay, Find people that are. That's why I hang with the rich dad advisors. You, you want to work with mentors, Pick up those books. Go to, you know, go to rdapress.com I believe it is, and check out, check out our stuff there. Obviously go to my website. But these are people that are real teachers, are really have a high level of success in, particularly in the financial markets and trust people that have been there, done that. I don't always trust the marketing so much. I trust the person. And so that's what I would say. Follow your intuition. You'll find the right person. There is no such thing. What else you guys? Hamid says there's no such thing as a wrong or bad decision. Every decision has an outcome in your life. Yes, some decisions are better than others. When we know that it will be Easy for us to make a decision. Yeah. There's no say. Well, one of the principles of the universe is that there are two sides to a coin. Okay? Unity is plural. For day, there's night, up, down, in, out, male, female, good, bad, all that stuff. Day, night, all that. So again, for every good decision, something bad about it, very bad decision, something good about it. If. And Hamid is very well, says it very, very well. He says this, he says that. What did he say? He says that in the case of you're trying to decide what kind of a decision to make, any decision is a good one. That's what I was going to say. Any decision is a good one because that's where you're at and that's what you do. And there will be a lesson one way or the other. One way or the other. Your job is to be able to ascertain or be able to determine whether it was a good one or not such a good one quickly. Okay? And as long as it's adding value to you and to other people and it's not being done at the expense of somebody else, and it's moving you ahead, that's probably a good decision. If you find. Start finding everything starting to trend downward, that probably was not such a good decision. Or you keep spending money with no results, that's not a good decision. Okay, so you can calibrate it. But again, it's a good question. I mean, looking for good mentors and then following them blindly. I don't recommend it, but you follow a person. I can't find the book. I do some amazing work with a Buddhist temple in Thailand. And every week I get trained in. In meditation because it's something I really wanted to learn. I've been doing that for nearly a year. And it's amazing. It gives me consciousness, it gives me calmness. I can see that I don't have nearly the temper that I used to and the anger inside that I used to have. So it's really very, very positive. But the head monk there is the largest temple in the world. And he said. I had a personal meeting with him and he said this. He said there are three criteria. Number one, when you're going to learn something, the content should be relevant. Content is important, but it's not as important as the way that content is delivered. Remember, we talked about environment and culture? So the way it's being taught, is it taught in pure lecture mode, is it taught in pure digital mode? Or is it working in groups, working in teams, brainstorming together, making Mistakes, making corrections. That's a very different way of learning, which is, I would say, is a superior way of learning. But he said the third thing that's probably the most important beyond, besides the content, the way it's delivered and the. Yeah. And the way it's delivered. The third thing is who you are as a person. Who you are as a person. Why do I say that? The minute you get up here and the minute you. In front of any kind of a group, people start looking at you. Who is this person? What kind of a person is he? If they admire you, they may even start modeling you. They may starting to think the way you think, which is actually a really good strategy. It's called modeling. And it's a really good strategy. If the model. If you're modeling the right things. If you're modeling the right things. Okay. And so. And that's where the judgment call comes in. And I think that that's why when it comes to mentors, people changing your environment, as some of you have asked about. Yeah, you need to be cautious, but you need to also trust your intuition. And somebody that you know, somebody you have experience of, chances are whatever your experience is of them is going to be what you're going to get further down the road. And I always hope that over the 30 years that I've been doing this, that our reputation is continually to deliver transformational experiences. Transformational experiences. If you want to experience one of those. And also learn how to make a lot of money, make a really good sales offer, whether it's one on one or one to many, and make it so that it's not offensive to people, it's not high pressure for you or for them or anything like that, but a high conversion rate. Then you might want to check out that link that's scrolling across. It's the powerful sales presentations program. Okay. So anyway, Charlton, I spent a weekend with you in 2006 at an event with 300 people, and you kept me engaged for almost 14 hours a day. I still share with Little what I learned from that event. Okay, well, thank you for doing that. Thank you for doing that. Charlton, where you for? I. I don't know where you're from, but thank you for. Thank you for living the dream, buddy. 2006, that's 15 years ago. I'm not that old, am I? Am I? Okay, what to do when a mentor says something, then he disappoints you by the way he acted afterwards? Well, Daniel, I'll tell you, that's a good question. You have to make your own call on that, you have to make your own call. It depends what they did that disappointed you. You know, I try to do my best. We have a code of honor, a set of rules. But like anybody else, we all make mistakes. We all have our instinctive behavioral patterns, and we make mistakes. And it's not so much the mistake. So don't judge a person by the mistake they make or something that they do. If they, if they actually make a mistake, particularly if they're willing to say, look, I screwed up. I shouldn't have said that. I shouldn't have done that. That's good. Okay, I got it. We all have that going on. The danger is when somebody goes down a track and they're doing something that they won't acknowledge, that they highly justify and that they. And they may know something about what they're doing that you don't know about. So again, even be very. Be very slow to judge. But I would ask, you know, don't go into your own head, well, this person said this, and now they do that, and so I can't trust them anymore. That's very petty. That, that is the mindset of, of a. Of a poor, poor person. Okay? It's not to trust anybody. I know that because I grew up on a farm and we had very little money, and I, you know, up until I was a young adult, I didn't trust anybody. And I was taught not to trust anybody but that, you know what? It's very difficult to build a business and to sell if you don't trust anybody. You think about it. So I started hanging around with different people, and I moved to Hawaii. I changed my environment. I got out of Ohio and I moved to Hawaii and hung around with successful entrepreneurs. And don't ask me the whole story, but, but it worked to a degree. I'm still developing. I'm still developing. And. But don't be. Be very careful about. Well, I don't trust them. Jfk, you have all heard of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Kennedy. Kennedy, right. Jfk. Very famous president. I, you know, he. I admire him for his charisma, his power, his vision, all that stuff. I've modeled him. I do a lot of those things now. That's one part of him now he has this other part of him, had this other part of him around women and around his wife and his family that I don't, I don't respect that. But that doesn't mean I throw at the baby with the bath water. Right? It means I'm just still model the part that I like and the other part, I'm just gonna let it go unless it's really, really, really unethical. And then I just, I have a hard time with that. But Kiyosaki would probably tell you, he goes, so what? Get what information you get. Let that part go and get what you can. You're not, you're not trying to become best friends with them, you're just trying to learn from them. Okay, so learn what you need to learn. Okay. Oh good, I'm glad you enjoy. You guys enjoying this. You guys learning something? Oh, grav. Gandhi from, from India. Right? Very good, Excellent. Any other questions? See, let me scroll up here, see if I can find a few. Okay, let's see what else. Very amazing. Great, wonderful. Thank you. What else you got? Hi there. Awesome to see you. Hello from Lorraine and Lorraine and Lou in Australia, if that's who I think it is. Good to hear from you. Good to hear from you. It's good to hear. I hope you guys are doing great in the quarantine down there. Honesty is huge for me. I wouldn't even white lie. Interestingly, I'm always concerned whether people trust me when I'm connecting with someone new. Okay, good. Honesty is huge. Okay. Yeah, honesty is huge. You know, and if somebody tells a little white lie and stuff like that, you know, I understand. You know, you make your own judgments. I'm not going to tell you how to judge people, but I'm going to tell you what. You can judge yourself into a corner. I'll say it again. You can judge yourself into a corner because everybody is not perfect. All right? Does that come out right? Yeah. Everybody has a flaw. Some people lie. Some people exaggerate. Some people are overweight. Some people don't take care of their health. Some people are. Everybody's got some bite, everybody's got vices. Everybody, including you, okay? And if you think you don't, that is your vice, that you're righteous, okay? Trust me, I've been there, okay? So everybody's got advice. And if you start painting people, you know, this person's out, that person's out, this person's out, you find yourself in a very small corner. As opposed to saying, look, the world is at my disposal. What can I learn? As somebody said, what can I learn from everybody, regardless of who they are? I've watched videos of criminals. I do not because I like criminals is because there's something there. You know, I've watched. I've watched videos of dictators and watch their. Their body language. Do I like them? No. They're the most despicable people on the planet. They. You know, they. They probably should have never existed, but they commanded a tremendous amount of power over a tremendous number of people. How did they do that? I want to know how to do that. Then it becomes my judgment how I want to use it, and it becomes your judgment how you want to use it. Does that make sense? So don't, you know, little white lies, all those kind of things, you make your own call, but just don't paint yourself into a corner. Otherwise you're gonna be very lonely over there. Okay? Because we all. You too. We all have vices. That's what makes us human. I just believe that if you got one, admit it. People go, well, what if they find out that I have a skeleton hanging in my closet? I have a whole cemetery hanging in my closet. I mean, I'm happy to show it to you if you want to look at it. You know, I've been. I've go through that stuff. I mean, there's things I've done I'm not happy about. There's things that I've. Mistakes I made that have blown it completely, but they've always. All of them have made us better. And. And hopefully the mistakes you make will make you better. Okay, let's see. Check out the podcast. We. Yeah, the flip side of the coin. Yeah, that's right. We just. We just did a podcast, I think we posted. It's called the Flip side of the Coin. The Flip side of the Coin. And a great interview I did with Roberto Blake, one of the top YouTubers in the world. In the world. And I interviewed him not just about YouTube, but also about entrepreneurship. So my whole thing, remember, I didn't. I never used to trust anybody. Right. So it gave me a skill. And the skill was, is that when somebody says, well, we're in a deflationary environment. Okay, good. So what's the advantage of that? Well, what do you mean, the advantage? Because there's a. There's a good and a bad to everything. You see what I'm saying? So. And if you could be the person that sees both sides, or as Robert Kiyosaki says, stand on the edge of the coin, if you can do that, that is intelligence. Intelligence is not being able to hold a point of view, although that's important. Intelligence is being able to hold your point of view, but being able to see both the merits or the being able to identify with both sides, that makes you a great communicator and a great negotiator. Okay. All right. Hello from Brazil. All right, Gustavo. We all have what? Good to see you, buddy. We all have. You know, we've all. Yeah, we all have made mistakes. Okay, good. Thank you. We all have, and we continue to do them. But you own it, and you don't justify. You don't make excuses. I go, look, I screwed up. This is what I did. And I'm learning, and I'm committing right now to get. Getting better right now. And you better do that. If you're going to say you're going to do it, then otherwise there's a credibility issue. So thank you. Any other questions? Is this good, you guys? Are you enjoying this? Is this helpful? Tell you guys, I like to do this every Friday, you know, so. And I want to thank Brooke. Brooke is somewhere out there coaching. You know, she's been coaching me because I push the wrong buttons and forget about the comments. And she's my social media person. But. But I really would. I like doing this, and I'd like to keep doing it, and I'd love to have your interaction. Okay. Some. Oh, that was a good one. I see it. I see one. Hold on. Hello from Melbourne. Everybody's waking up down there. Another crucial element of success is mastering the basics. If you want to be a master, you have to learn to master the basics. Absolutely. By the way, that's called integrity. Integrity. Integrity means wholeness. Wholeness. You know, if you're gonna be a great golfer. You can't just be. Just do well driving the golf ball off of. Off the draw off of a tee. Right? You can't do that. You got to have your short game, your middle game, your putting game if you're gonna be good. But you gotta master them one at a time, one at a time. So Hamid is very, very correct on that. So I'm really glad you're on this call. Hamid, you have some great, great comments. Okay. I'm glad I jumped on and had no work meetings. Yeah, me too, Charlton. But you know what? The idea is that a lot of people want to be good in sales, for example, and they just. And they jump in and they're frustrated because sales isn't like that. Sales. You just don't jump in and become successful in sales if you don't know how to sell, that is. And the reason for that is because it's very much like a golf game. There are seven or eight steps to any selling process, whatever you're doing, and you got to master one at a time. You master one, get good at that, okay? Then go to the next one. Now master that. But most people are impatient. I got to get it now. I got to get it now. I got to get it now. And so we, like I said for me to learn how to sell and to present took easily, what, from 1985 or something like that, 1985 to 1995, a good 10 years to really start figuring this thing out. That's. I know some of you weren't even born, but. But that's what. But that's why I created the programs I do. That's why I teach what I teach, because I teach you what I've learned, okay? And create templates. Like at the powerful sales presentation, there's, you know, a list. This is how you start your program. Just fill in the blank. Fill in the blank. Fill in the blank. Here's how you make your. Make an offer. Here's the checklist. Checklist, checklist, checklist. Okay, good. And here's what you say. Step one, two, three. Just fill in the blank. Fill in the blank. So it's a series of things like that that have taken like 15, 10, 15 years and just compressed it down so you don't have to go through the learning curve. You can spend your time practicing what works rather than practicing things that don't work and then backing up and all that stuff. So those of you interested, powerful sales presentations, check it out at the. At the link. That's Scrolling across the screen. And it's. It's very, very good. But you're right, it starts with basics. Starts with basics. Okay. All righty. Good. So, by the way, let me. Next Friday, I'm gonna be here again. And so what I'd like you to do is not go. Go to YouTube, subscribe. Go to, you know, subscribe and become part of it. You know, be. Follow us on. On Facebook and. And Twitter and go to the website, subscribe and watch the videos and share. But the other thing is this. I'm gonna be back here on Friday next week. Hopefully, maybe we'll send out an announcement. But I would like to do more of this with you guys. I'd like to do more of this. This is for the world. This is not clubhouse, where it's very private and all that stuff, but this is for the world. Bucky Fuller. Dr. Buckminster Fuller said, the more people I serve, the more effective I become. The more people I serve, the more effective I become. And that's just been my point of view since I started in business. And I hope that that works for all of you. I hope that you guys get a lot of value out of all this. Okay? All right, so. Yes. So why did I say that? Because I want you to tell your friends to be here next week. So they've got some questions. That's. Why. Do you have any dates for virtual trainings this year? Sales and Leadership Master Facilitator? Yeah. Well, we're doing the. Thank you, Lorraine. We're doing this powerful sales presentation program next week. Not this coming weekend, but the following weekend. Okay. And we're going to be doing Master Facilitator and a couple other weekends. If you go to blairsinger.com, you'll see the dates up there. But, yeah, we're doing a lot. We're doing. I'm doing at least two online live programs, me teaching every month. And we've been doing that since. Easily since July or August of last year. And now the frequency is building, so we're doing more and more and more of that. So, yeah, we're doing a lot of it. I'd love to have you just let me know you're coming because it'd be. I'll give you a virtual hug. Okay, let's see what else. There have been people I've mentored, and very few people pursue mentorship or take advice and do their own thing. Anyway, how do you identify who to spend your time with? Well, welcome to the club. That's just what happened that's part of it. That comes with the territory. I will tell you that. If you qualify them a little bit better upfront, that's better. You know what? You know, the thing is, what do you want? You gotta ask if you're gonna coach people or mentor people, what do they want? Number one, what do they want? Second thing is, what is their reality right now? What is happening for them right now? And the third thing is, what's the obstacle standing in the way? I think I might have mentioned this earlier in that series of questions. You're going to find out if you've got the kind of person that's going to stick with you or not. You're going to stick with you or not, because what you will do is you'll bust them on the things that hold them back. Have you ever done this before? Yeah. Well, it didn't work and I quit doing it. Why? Well, why? And why? And you're going to find out that they've got a bad habit of when. When it gets intense or gets tough, they back away. They back away. Why? Well, there's a lot of little voice reasons that they back away. They can't handle success at some level, or they might be exposing themselves at some level. They're afraid to do that or. You don't know. You see, Charlton, you don't know why, and you don't need to know why, necessarily. But if you're going to be a great mentor and coach, you got to ask tougher questions and be able to work with people at that level. Because what will happen is your reputation for being a good mentor will go up. Okay. There's a lot of people. I'm a mentor. I'm a mentor. I'm a mentor. I'm a mentor. Yeah. Well, okay. Can you mentor, you know, if you can mentor the likes of somebody that's in a more powerful position than you, if you can mentor people that are richer than you without any problem, then you're probably a great mentor. Because what happens is you're not intimidated by any of that stuff because you know that you can coach and you know what you can do, and you're confident in all that and your confidence bleeds out to them. So that would be my suggestion to you. Let's see, let's see. Let's see what else we got here. I've learned so much from you in this video. Yeah. By the way, it's not even a video yet. I guess it is. It's not a video yet. It's live. So this is live. It will be a video, I'm sure. But thank you for being on the call. Okay, you guys, I'm gonna start. I'm gonna sign. Start winding this down. I've got another appointment to go to in about eight minutes, so. Oh, seven minutes. Sorry. And so I need to go. But thank you for the great questions. Hamid and Lorraine and Charlton and all of you guys that. That. That chimed in. Come back again. Subscribe, let people know about what's going on here, and tell them there's this crazy dude in Scottsdale, Arizona, and he's just blabbering away, and every once in a while, something good comes out of his mouth that you can use. And that's my intention. My intention is for you to win and to lead, which is something we'll talk about in another. Maybe next week. We'll talk about leadership a little bit more, because the world needs a lot of great leaders, okay? So subscribe to their YouTube channel, share it with other people, go to the website, follow us on Facebook, and just take a moment. Sometime this weekend, Take a deep breath, and just thank yourself that you are where you are right now. Because as somebody asked about opportunities, you're living at one of the most amazing times in the course of human history right now, and I want you to be able to take advantage of it. Okay. And get very rich. And remember, if you're not, you bet. Might want to take a look at what's around you. Okay? All right, you guys. Thank you very much. Be amazing. Love you all. And that's it for today. Be awesome.
