How to become unforgettable!

Blair Singer argues that dumping facts doesn't stick. Instead, create an experience like a role play or activity, then facilitate lessons from it. People remember what they do far more than what they hear.
If you want to be unforgettable, stop cramming facts and do this instead. This is a shout out if you're a teacher, leader, facilitator, or parent. Okay, get this Rather than dumping data on people in a teaching or learning environment, give them an experience. Make them do a role play. Go out and do something, then come back and don't be the teacher. Be a facilitator. Which then draws the lessons from from the people that were in the exercise. What we know is emotionally they're more attached. Emotionally they'll remember more. And what will happen is that your pearls of wisdom as you pull it out of them, will be with them forever. Why? Because you learn more from what you do than what you hear. Stop dumping on people and give them an experience, and then pull the brilliance out of them. Be amazing.
