My son wanted to be rich (Part 1)

Not too long ago, my son ran into my office and said, dad, I want to be rich. I said, well, how are you going to do that? He goes, I'm going to be my own boss. I said, okay, look, first piece of advice, you're just out of high school. You're just starting. First thing to do before you start a business, learn how to sell. Why? Because sales equals income. If you can't sell, no income. No income, no fun, no business. Okay? And if you can learn how to sell, you can pave your financial future for the rest of your life. Okay, what can you sell? You can sell gym memberships. You can sell solar panels, pest control, security systems, door to door, whatever. All you're trying to do is not even make money, is just learn how to persuade people. Ask questions, talk to people, make some closes, handle some objections. And guess what? The faster you learn it, the more money you'll make while you're learning. You do that, your future is virtually guaranteed. Go out and sell sales.
