Blair Singer names three habits that block success: hanging around broke people who blame others, expecting the world to owe you something, and waiting for someone to save you. Instead, take responsibility and add value to others.
Here are three things to be successful. No, you should probably think about three things to stop doing in order to be successful. Stop doing these things like Number one, stop listening to people that are broke if you're trying to get rich. People that blame, justify, have every excuse in the world. Why not? They're why they're not successful. Stop listening. Stop hanging around those people. It's infectious to you. You're responsible, not. Number two, stop thinking that the world that you deserve something from the world, that the world owes you something. The world doesn't owe you anything. Everything that you want is already there. It's for you to figure out how to get your hands on it. Number three, probably just as important, remember this. Stop thinking that somebody's going to come to save you. Nobody's coming to save you. You will reap the benefits of what you sow, which is hugely liberating. If you want more, add more value to people's lives and be awesome. Be successful. Stop doing these three. The rest will take care of itself.
