Blair Singer says coaches waste time trying to fix people. Instead, ask questions that help clients believe in themselves. People are already doing their best, so help them see what they're capable of, not what's wrong.
If you try to fix people, you will fail. Try this instead and they will transform. That's right. Rather than trying to fix people, be a problem solver and try to give them lots of advice. Try this instead. Work on their belief in themselves. Work on their self confidence. Help them see a better version of themselves. And what will happen if you ask a few good questions? They will emerge and transform right before your very eyes. And it'll also take the heat off of you because how do you even know that your advice is any good for somebody else other than yourself? Okay, stop trying to fix people. People are doing the best they can. Got it?
