1828 Wexner's Dictionary.
Hey, this is Blair, and I'm in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, visiting my son who's going to school here. Somebody at. And just a beautiful evening, beautiful sunset, as you can see, looking over Sarasota Bay. And someone asked me about leadership, to talk about leadership. And I'm not going to say a lot other than I'm going to kind of quote Mack Newton, one of my great teachers, who said, discipline. And I'm going to say, leadership is doing what you're supposed to be doing, when you're supposed to be doing it, whether you like it or not, whether it's popular or not. And I think in these days, the world is searching for great leaders. Whatever your ideology is, whatever your philosophy is, whatever you're on the right or you're on the left or you're in the middle or you're up or you're down or you're in or you're out. You know what? It doesn't really make that much of a difference if you are who you are, do what you do. As Mac would say, be authentic and be genuine. And really keep in mind, as a leader, the job of a leader is to make life better for other people. And if you got that in mind and your integrity is right and your ethics are good, and you're doing what you're supposed to be doing when you're supposed to be doing it, whether you like it or not or whether it's popular or not, that defines you as a leader. The great John Maxwell, I had the opportunity to interview once said to me, I said. He said, your job is to make more leaders, create more leaders. I said, well, John, if you have more leaders, then what's. Would there be too many chiefs and not enough Indians? And he goes, no. He goes, blair, this is John Maxwell said. He goes, the world never complained about too many good leaders. The world complains about bad leaders. So the question you ask yourself this weekend or wherever you are, what kind of a leader am I? Am I doing what I need to be doing? Am I being real? Or am I stepping on eggshells to keep from hurting other people's feelings? Am I operating out of integrity? And what does integrity mean? Integrity means wholeness. It means completeness. Honesty is a part of it. But the point of integrity, the original definition and an 1828 dictionary, Wexner's Dictionary, if you look at it, means wholeness or completeness, closing loops, making whole systems, bringing people together, making things happen for a reason that affects lots and lots of other people. So wherever you are whatever you do. I'm honored that you're watching. I'm honored that you're listening. Harry Bozeman down in Australia and Jason Everett in Sacramento. Dudes. Hey, Steven. Good. Thank you guys for tuning in because you guys, I know you and you are great leaders and you are doing what you're supposed to be doing when you're supposed to be doing it. So I'm signing off for the weekend and Zaid. Hey, Zaid from Singapore. Awesome. Hope you're doing great with your money and yous over there. I hope you're doing great and so thank you. Wherever you are. The world needs leaders now more than ever. Be one and encourage others to be good ones. Don't worry about whether they take your position or whether they're a better leader than you. As John Maxwell said, the world never complained about too many good leaders. There's room for everybody. Love you all. Serve and be awesome. Talk to you soon. Bye. Bye.
