I don't know, maybe it could be a life lesson, leadership, or even— I mean, I guess it was a life-changing experience for you, right, to speak to more than 5. Uh, life-changing.
Let me do a life-changing. Okay, so, you know, during the dot-com days, I was really busy. The type of busy where you're, where you're working 7 days a week, loving what I'm doing. And, and my son was born, uh, so as you could tell, a couple years ago my son was born. And that first year, although my wife was in the house and I was in the house, um, I didn't spend as much time with him as, as I could have or should have. And as I was talking to people they, they told me I would regret it if I don't. And so I went to my wife and I said, hey honey, I got a gift for you. She goes, okay, great. I put her in an embrace and I go, I want to give you every Sunday— every Sunday I'm going to take our son, his name's Duncan, we're going to call it Daddy Duncan Day. Now the thing is, she was really smart and she immediately said Hey honey, that's a gift for you, not for me.
Hmm.
Now, first of all, I could have not been coachable, right? I could have said, I could have argued and got mad and all that. And I go, huh? I said, okay, let's not stop the embrace till I have an answer.
Hmm.
Right. And then I was racking my mind. Ooh. I was thinking necessarily me first, because in her mind, think about this. She will be the disciplinary 6 days a week. I'm the fun dad 1 day a week. She was absolutely right. And by the way, it was fun to about 16. And he goes, yeah, Dad, I don't know about that Daddy Duncan day anymore.
