On day 14 of a gratitude challenge, the speaker reflects on his dream home in the San Francisco Bay Area and his dog Shaggy, contrasting his current life with early career days in a mobile home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He notes that despite the region's wealth, many people still live in cars or on the street. Steve Harvey once lived out of a car too.

Hello everyone, today is day 14 of my 21 days grateful challenge, and today I am grateful for my dream home and my dog Shaggy. It's kind of funny, I remember when I first started my career more than 20 years ago, we used to live in a mobile home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and I couldn't have the way to be away. I wanted to travel across America, around the world, and go to those 5-star hotels, Hilton, Marriott, or whatnot. And today it's very strange. When I am away for more than a couple of days, I want to go back home. I miss my home, my king-size bed, my office. I just miss my stuff and my space. And then I got to thinking how incredible it is that I could today kind of complain about where I am staying and wanting to be home when there are people who actually live in their vehicle, people who live in the street in the San Francisco Bay Area where I live now. And it is very, very, very sad to see a place that is so wealthy, right? So much wealth. There are multi, multi-billionaires living in the San Francisco Bay Area. But still, you have people who can't even afford rent for an apartment and have to live in their car or in the street. Like, even one of my mentors, Steve Harvey, at one point was living out of his car. So I am very, very, very grateful to have this opportunity to own a home in the Bay Area and to have a place I can call my home. Very, very grateful for that. So, for today, I would like to challenge Nikki Strat. She is a cloud technology consultant at Oracle in Santa Monica, California. Nikki, if you accept this challenge, you are going to have to be grateful for one thing every single day for the next 21 days, and each day challenge somebody in your social network to do the same. Thanks.
