In this short solo video, Bizzy (Bob Fabien Zinga) marks Day 2 of his 21‑Day Gratitude Challenge. He expresses deep gratitude for his wife, Demetria Brown Zinga, reflecting on their 20‑year marriage, premarital counseling, and the unconditional love that has supported his personal and professional achievements. He also acknowledges his mother as another source of unconditional love. Bizzy recounts their early financial struggles—“love and fumes”—and contrasts that with their current settled life in Silicon Valley, emphasizing how being loved and accepted shapes his outlook. The video concludes with Bizzy nominating an old friend and former Pivotal colleague, Ian Wexick, via LinkedIn to take on the next 21‑day gratitude challenge, encouraging the ripple‑effect of daily thankfulness.

Hello everyone, this is Bizzy and I'm back for day number 2 of the 21 Days Grateful Challenge. So yesterday I was thankful for making it through the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, and today I want to be thankful for my life partner, my wife, Demetria Brown Zinga. We've been married for about 20 years now. Yes, we've We got married in 2001. It's been a very, very long time. And I really, I couldn't imagine life without her. Everything I am today, everything I've been able to accomplish is really because of her love. I think outside of my wife, there's probably only one other woman I felt like really loved me unconditionally. That was my mother. And it's really amazing to find that one person who's going to be a partner with you for the rest of your life. I really feel privileged and blessed. It is really something wonderful. I really can't imagine life without her. I remember before we got married, I was going through premarital counseling. The one question my minister asked me was, okay, Bob Fabien Zinga, can you live your life without this young woman? And I honestly told my pastor, no, there is no way I can imagine life without her. I mean, it's like, okay, you are ready to get married, let's do it. And, uh, it's just wonderful to go through life, uh, receiving love from your partner and, uh, not, uh, having to worry about that area of your life, right? You can go out there focused on work, school, whatever your objectives are, and, uh, you really don't have to worry about that area. Of your life, you are settled. Another thing I really like about my wife is when we first got married, we were pretty much poor, right? We didn't have anything but love. Even this morning we were joking that when we first got married, really, we were running on nothing but fumes, right? Love and fumes, that's it. We didn't have anything at all. And past 20 years, and we are now, you know, being settled here in Silicon Valley. And it really, really does something to somebody's heart to know that you are loved, you are accepted just the way you are. Okay, I could be talking about Demetria all day and all night, but that's all I'm gonna say for now. I am very, very thankful for my wife, my life partner, Demetria Zinga. And now it is time for me to select who I am going to challenge. So let me share my screen. Let's go. On my LinkedIn page, and I'm going to go page number 2. I'm going to select Ian Wexick. He's an old friend of mine, a colleague at Pivotal. So Ian, I would like to challenge you for the next 21 days. I would like to challenge you to be thankful for one thing every single day, and every day that you are thankful for something, challenge somebody else in your network. Thank you so much. Bye.
