On the final day of a 21-day gratitude challenge, the speaker celebrates the return of in-person training and conferences after years of virtual events. He argues that face-to-face connection, handshakes, and direct care can't be replaced by screens. He challenges Rita Watson, an aspiring flight attendant, to practice daily gratitude for 21 days and pass it on to someone else.

Alright, today is my last day, day 21 of my 21 Days Grateful Challenge. And today I am very grateful for the return of in-person training, conferences, and summits. For the past year and a half or so, we've been doing everything virtually—meetings, summits, training, and everything else. And it shows our resilience, our agility, and adaptability, and innovation. But there is nothing like seeing somebody face to face, shaking their hands, and just letting them know that you care. About them. That dimension of in-person relationship can't really be replaced with anything digital. So I am very, very thankful for the return of in-person training and meetings. And I would like to challenge Rita Watson, an aspiring flight attendant. Rita, if you accept this challenge, please be thankful for one thing every single day for the next 21 days and challenge somebody in your network to do the same.
