On day 7 of his gratitude challenge, the speaker reflects on clean drinking water, a privilege he didn't have growing up in a developing country. He notes you can survive weeks without food but only days without water, then challenges Jael Holland, IT lead at Directly, to share what she's grateful for each day and pass it on.

Hello LinkedIn network. Today is day 7 of my 21 Days Grateful Challenge, and today I want to be grateful for simple, pure, and drinkable water. I grew up in a developing country where good water was very difficult to find, and even here in the United States, just yesterday, I couldn't get lunch anywhere because all of the restaurants were shut down in the area I am in, just because there was some type of spill in the water. In the area. So I am just so thankful to have the opportunity to drink good water. I think you probably could live without food for like 40 days or so, but you probably cannot go without water for more than a couple of days. So I am grateful for the simple things in life today. And today I would like to challenge Jael Holland. She is the IT lead at Directly. I very much appreciate your work. And, uh, Yael, if you accept this challenge, you have to be thankful for something every single day for the next 21 days. And then every day you have to challenge somebody in your network to do the same. Bye for now.
