So as a creative that's trying to either build a side hustle or your own creative business, I want to talk today about five Instagram accounts that you may not be following, that you should be. When it comes to the stimulus that we put in our brains, I think if we just stick to our wheelhouse all the time or like our typical world, we're not going to grow the way that we could. And so I think these accounts are going to be ones that are really valuable to you to growing your business, to growing your following on social media, and to being able to understand how to better put yourself out there. So I'm excited to share these with you, some of my favorites. And to illustrate that point of, like, stepping outside of our comfort zone, I'm taking you with me to get a burrito today. And there'll be more on that soon. But for now, let's dig into these Instagram accounts.
So the first one that I think.
You should consider watching or at least checking out on Instagram, and they are a YouTube channel as well, is one called the Futur F U T U R. They do fantastic stuff.
Chris do is like one of my mentors. I'm in their pro group.
And this other stuff, let me talk.
A little more clearly about it here. Pastor Burrito and a carnitas taco, please.
Yeah.
I think we're good.
I'm going to use the regular camera now. Found a shady spot.
So the reason I love that account.
The Future, is because I feel like Christo is just a great explainer of things. He's really good at information in a really tactful way, which I love. It's not like a BS driven thing. And that's something that I try to do here. It definitely gears more toward. More toward like, graphic designers, people that are doing like, logo design, brand strategy, things like that. So the future. Go check it out. Totally worth it.
So the second account I wanted to.
Bring up is Dave Tallis. I believe I'm saying that right. If you're trying to grow your Instagram. I took a course from this guy and I'm currently trying to use some of the strategies for my own stuff.
He had a free course that I.
Thought was the most, just straight up as any of the others that I've taken, and I've taken a number of them, and he had a lot of good thoughts on like, hashtag strategies and all that kind of stuff and like, how you can use those things. And he does a lot of stuff on Instagram kind of similar to what I'm trying to do, which is the carousel type stuff, just stuff that's really educationally driven. So Dave Tallis, go check him. The third account is one of my favorites and it's Chalene Johnson. And Shalene is not somebody most creatives probably know of. She's in the fitness space and now does a lot of stuff with like marketing. And she has something called the Marketing Impact Academy, which I took. I think Chalene is absolutely brilliant and one of my favorites. I got to meet her and and her husband Brett, and they were out at Social Media Marketing World this last year and I thought they were amazing, super sweet people and they just drop a lot of really great knowledge. If you're trying to build up any of your marketing game, I think they're totally worth checking out.
So the fourth one I think you.
Should check out is Andy J. Pizza. So he has a podcast called Creative Pep Talk, which is absolutely one of my favorites. And the dude speaks in crazy stories and really out there narratives and ideas. And he talks a lot about different video games and kinds of stuff. Super hilarious. Like if you're a creative thinkers, creative.
Thinker, like, I feel like I walk.
The line of being a creative, but also systematic. He is like totally a creative guy that figured out how to be systematic. Definitely need to check him and his podcast out again. Great business knowledge, great ideas about how to incorporate creativity into your business. And I think he's awesome. Okay, I'm gonna shut up. I have to go be on podcast in like 20 minutes and I'm gonna flip and eat this taco.
Let's talk real quick about this burrito thing. It may come across as like super stupid, but I don't really care. But I talked in the beginning about this idea of like, what we take in and if we don't sort of vary those things, we run the risk of not really getting the stuff that could benefit us the most or at least could be the most enjoyable. To run this quick analogy, like, I love Chipotle burritos. Like, I love them, right? And most of you probably know what Chipotle is, but the place that I ate today is a place that's like a little local joint that, you know, I had eaten Chipotle non stop forever and a buddy of mine was like, dude, you have to go to this other place. When I went there, my mind was absolutely blown. And what was so cool is this woman that runs the joint saw me in a gas station and I had been going there over and over again for probably a year. And she said, hey, come to the front of the line. And she like waved me up. I was all the way behind. And she paid for all of my stuff. She paid for everything that I had, which was like probably 15 bucks worth of random stuff for lunch and all these other things. I say this because if I had just continued to go to the place that I was always comfortable with, I would have never discovered this new place that really supported and encouraged me and this other way. And while I want you guys to like come here and get stuff from me, like, I also know that there's a ton of benefit from these other people because they are people that have helped me as well. Which leads me to my fifth and final Instagram account that I think you.
Need to be checking out.
Now. Full disclosure here. I am biased because I do work for this company, but the Instagram account is called Video Creators. We also have a YouTube account. The CEO of the company's name is TV Tim Schmoyer. He helped brands like Budweiser and Warner Brothers and all these big companies launch and grow their YouTube strategy. We also work with a lot of really big name YouTube clients. So if you're trying to grow a YouTube channel, please like, go check this out and listen. If you're trying to do more content, Instagram stuff, all these types of things. I have a free downloadable that I've made. It's called the 30 Day Connection Calendar. And this helps you make 30 pieces of content in about 30 minutes. You can download it in the description below. I'd love for you to check it.
Out and I hope that it's really.
Really valuable to you. No cost, just something I wanted to give to you. Thanks so much for being here today and for watching this video.
