Why are you waiting for it to be less busy? You want to know what busy actually is? Busy is the drunk dude at the bar that won't stop talking until you tell him to shut the hell up and to like, frickin kick rocks. You cannot ask, you cannot wait him out. He will drink you under the table and annoy you to no end every day of the week. This is what he does. We are a culture of people who've bought into the idea that if we stay busy enough, the truth of our lives won't catch up to us. We've taken this idea of busy this drunk dude at the bar, and we've allowed him to continue to exist in our lives. But busy does not equal productive. So if this hit at all, what is the truth that you're avoiding right now? And what can you do to tell busy to get the hell out of your way so you can get done the work that you know you need to accomplish?
