This YouTube video (by Lennon Bone, uploaded March 28, 2022) narrates an incident in which actor Christopher Walken allegedly destroyed an original Banksy artwork while filming a BBC television show. The speaker speculates whether Banksy himself arranged the event — noting Banksy is a fan of Walken and has in the past destroyed his own work — and also claims Banksy earned just over $133 million in 2021.
It's true. Apparently, Christopher Walken. Yes, the beloved Christopher Walken, the actor destroyed an original Banksy piece. He did this while filming a BBC television show. But this kind of begs the question, like, did Christopher Walken do it or did Banksy do it? Because it was stated that Banksy's actually a big fan of Walken. And I can't help but wonder if Banksy's kind of behind all this, especially since he's not beneath destroying his own work, even after it's sold for, you know, over a million dollars. But fear not, the artist should be fine. He's reported to have made just over $133 million in 2021. Not bad for, you know, an up and comer, am I right?
