Lennon Bone argues that artists keep repeating the same unproductive habits out of fear and comfort. He invokes Einstein's idea about doing the same thing and expecting different results, then pushes creatives to publish their work anyway as an act of self-respect.

Remember that quote from Einstein? It goes, if you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got. It's like the definition of insanity, right? Keep doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results, that's insanity. But why do we, as artists and creatives, constantly go back to what's comfortable, Especially when it's not really comfortable? We say we want to put more of our work out there because we feel like we want more from what we do. That feels uncomfortable because we're afraid of what somebody would say. So we'll go back to, like, not doing it, refusing to do what we. We know will get the result. Just out of fear today, for once, I want you to let go of that fear. And whatever the thing is that you know you need to do, I want you to just go do it. Knowing and trusting that just having it done, putting it into the world, even if it doesn't create some crazy success, it is you respecting yourself enough to do the work that you know you need to do.
