So I lost a friend of mine recently, and it's left me thinking a lot about my legacy as a person. You know, who do I want to be as an artist, as a creative? Do I want to try to build, you know, a new side to me as an artist at 41 years old, and thinking about that legacy leaves me paralyzed. That ideal that I have of who I might want to be, I can never reach that. But I think that maybe realizing that I can't live up to that ideal is the answer. And then from here, it's just about figuring out how to love the journey.
