To the moon. Jeff Koons, who is the most expensive living artist on the Earth, has decided that for his first NFT project, he will be launching sculptures into space, specifically to the moon. Let's be honest, while I feel like this is really over the top, if I had the kind of money that Koons has, like, I would totally do like this. This is awesome. The project is aptly titled Moon Phases. It's inspired by the technological advancements of humans and their endless fascination with the moon. Each digital work that is created will have a corresponding physical sculpture which will be launched into space from Kennedy Space Station. To line up with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 17 trip to the Moon, a limited number of NFTs will be sold through Pace. Proceeds from some of the first sales will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. So Koons is at least giving up some of his fortune to a good effort here. Thank you, Koons. Koons on the moons happening soon. Screw your balloons. We're taking a rocket, you goons.
