So last week, Dolly Parton, who was nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame, gave a surprising statement. I'm gonna read it off my phone because that's unprofessional. Even though I'm extremely flattered and grateful to be nominated for the Rock and Roll hall of Fame, I don't feel like I've earned that right. I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I'm respectfully bowing out. She also wrote that she hoped the Rock and Roll hall of Fame would be, quote, willing to consider me again if I'm ever worthy. Listen, as a creative, I find this so inspiring. I know that I'll never be nominated for something like this, but when you think about someone as legendary as Dolly Parton, so, like, wholesome and awesome as a human being and as an artist, she just continues to be herself. And I think that's why we all love her so much, or at least that's the way it seems to me. So I hope we can all take a page from Dolly's book. Actually, don't rip any pages out of her book, you know, from her proverbial book. And be true to what we believe as creatives. And when we show that to the world, I think they'll respond.
