A short YouTube video (uploaded by Lennon Bone) featuring a brief conversational reflection on wishing to be further along in an art career. The speakers clarify that money is not the primary motivator; instead they value freedom, more creative time, and family time, and one suggests writing those personal goals down as a daily motivator to take necessary actions.
I really wish that I was further along in selling my artwork. How come? Because I want to make money doing what I love to do. Well, does the money motivate you? Is that the big driver? No. I mean, it's not about the money. Okay, so if you made that money, what would that money get you? Yeah. I mean, it give me, honestly, more freedom, more time to be creative, more time to spend with my family and just do more stuff that I really care about. Right. So if you're looking for motivation and money, isn't it? Then try writing those things down that you just listed and thinking about those every day. Let those be the driver and see if you have more motivation to do the things that you know you need to do. Okay. Yeah. It's worth a try.
