All right, we are live here. Welcome everyone to our Recovery Secrets daily coaching session. We'll give everything a minute to connect up here, make sure we're good to go, ready to rock and roll. But it is so good to be here with each and every one of you. This is our 100th session of Recovery Secrets, so I have something fun planned for today that we've never done before, but it should be A ton of fun, and there's gonna be a chance to win prizes as well. So you can look forward to that through our session today. But like I said, we'll give this a second to connect up so that we can have some people join us. If you're gonna be joining us live, feel free to say hello in the chat box so that I can welcome you and so that we can engage throughout the session today. Now, like I said, this is our 100th Recovery Secrets session, which I'm so, so, so excited about, and we'll talk more about. Super, super proud of all of you. I know so many of you have been here from the beginning. For those of you who are new, It's really good. It's always a good time to start, but good job getting here, getting into our 100th session. And like I said, we're gonna do something definitely very out of character for how our calls normally go. So for those, those of you who are new, this is really not what to expect for the most part, but it should be a lot of fun as well. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Yes, congratulations to each and every one of you as well on achieving this Goal. Again, I know so many of you have been here from the very, very beginning, the very, very first session that we did back in March. And here we are. It's flown by already 100 sessions in. So I'm so, so excited. Like I said, we're going to do something super different. It's going to be fun. You have a chance to win prizes, which is so super, super cool. So we're going to have some fun today. We're still going to learn, but it's going to be geared toward fun, geared towards celebration. Good morning, Pat. Good morning, Larry. Good morning, Barbara. Good morning, Jeanette. Good morning, Judy. Good morning, Kim. Good morning, Teresa. Awesome. Let me know in the chat box there if you've been here from the beginning. Again, I know so many of you have literally been here from the very first session or definitely within the very first month or first couple of weeks. So let me know in the chat box there if you know how long you've been here. If you've been here for— I know some of you are also very, very new. If you've been here for a week or a day, that's awesome. If you— it doesn't matter. You know, it's all awesome. If you've been here since the very beginning, congratulations on Getting to this, this moment, this point of 100 sessions. Robert sharing here from day 1. That's awesome. Kim sharing here from the beginning. The beginning, Sunny, was in March. It was in March. Ella, also welcome, saying from March 21st. That's awesome. I don't, I don't know the exact date of that first session, but that sounds about right. End of March. Pat sharing here from day 1. Teresa here from the 3rd day. That is awesome. Awesome. Delaine sharing here from the beginning. Good morning, Delaine. Good morning, Judy. It's great to have you here. So now, like I said, we're gonna do something super duper different that we've never ever done in Recovery Secrets before. We've never done anything like this. It's going to be basically looking back on these 100 sessions, or however many sessions you've been here for, and we're gonna do almost what I would call like a knowledge check today, and/or a knowledge challenge. And so what we're going to do is I'm going to give us a group activity, believe it or not. Now again, this is kind of the beta version of this, but I'm going to give you a group activity, and together we are going to come up with 100 or more things that we have learned in Recovery Secrets. It's going to be a team effort, and together we're going to come up with 100 things or more. And I actually have a number in mind that I want to get to, but at least 100 things that we have learned so far in Recovery Secrets about recovery. So what I'm actually going to do is share a Google Doc with you. I'm going to share a link. It's going It's going to open up on your computer, on your phone, whatever it is, a Google document. Don't do anything with it yet. I will walk you through it. She's already been here since the beginning. That is awesome. Awesome. Good morning, Joanne. Good morning, each and every one of you. So like I said, I'm gonna share a Google Doc with you.
I'm—
or actually, you know what I'm gonna do before I even share it? I'm gonna show you kind of what we're doing here today. So like I said, you're gonna have a chance to win some prizes here today with this activity. It will be random, so don't, don't stress. It's not necessarily skill-based or anything like this, but we are gonna be doing a group activity called a knowledge challenge. And what it is, it's, it's in celebration of our 100th session. We are working as a community, as a group to check in on or remember, kind of present 100 things that we've learned, 100 things that we've learned so far in Recovery Secrets. Now, if there were 10 of us doing this exercise, we would each need to contribute 10 things. So this is a very, very achievable goal that we can reach together. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna share this document with you. It's going to be a group document. What I want you to do is fill out one thing that you've learned and then write your name next to it. Okay? So I did an example here. Awareness is a key element in healing, and then I put my name next to it. Okay? And so you just kind of fill in what you've learned. You can do as many as you want, as few as you want. And what I'm gonna do after we do this exercise, at the end of this exercise, I am going to use a random number generator to pick 3 winners from this bunch, and whatever number it lands on, they are going to win prizes. And we'll talk about the prizes in a second there. So I'm gonna share this with you all. I'm gonna share this link with you all, and we can get started on this exercise. So if you have any questions, let me know in the chat box there. We'll be working on this together. Good morning, Mimi. Good morning, Lorena. Good morning, each and every one of you. So. Open up this link right here. Like I said, it's gonna bring you to that document, and that's our knowledge challenge. Write at least one, if you can, one or more things that you've learned in Recovery Secrets and write your name next to it. And then we'll do some prizes as we go along here. And of course, we'll be refreshing and reviewing on these things as we go along here as well. So Barbara, I see that in there. Let's make sure we get that in the Google Doc. Delaine, awesome. Let's make sure we get that in the Google Doc. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. So we'll pull that up and I'll pull it back up again here with you all. Awesome. Mimi, I made a mistake on the— I actually don't think I made this mistake. I think it, it was changed. I've had some issues with the events page on Facebook, and it did say that this session was supposed to be next week, but it's today. So surprise, surprise, surprise, surprise. So let me know if you have any issues opening that up and getting rocking and rolling on this. All right, so I'm gonna bring this up and share it so we can go through these as we go along here. So open up that Google Doc and let me know for this knowledge challenge, what are some things that you've learned? What are some things you've learned? Things you've learned. Awesome. Awesome. All right. All right. I love it. Judy Sharon, never give up. That's an amazing thing. We've talked about this many, many times in many, many ways in Our sessions, right? So of all the sessions, we've done 99 sessions before this one. 99 sessions. We've also done sessions with Ryan. We've done some game night, community night sessions. We've done some brainstorming sessions. We've done all sorts of sessions, right? What are some things that you've learned? Let's get them rocking and rolling there. Let's get them going. I love it. I love— Judy's crushing it. Judy, you are crushing it. Imperfection can be a good thing. Yes, yes, yes, yes. So for those of you who, who are, don't wanna open Google Docs or don't want to kind of get in there, right? Let's make sure, let's make sure if you can get into Google Docs, absolutely do it. Like I said, this is kind of beta version of this because what we're going to be doing, right, is I'm gonna be taking those submissions in Google Docs and I'm going to be drawing from them, right? So it's like you're kind of entering a raffle here. All right, so if you can get into Google Docs, absolutely make sure you get in to fill them out. Awesome, awesome, amazing, amazing job, amazing job. All right, let's get in there. Awesome. So Barbara, if you can— so Barbara sharing. Yeah, so when you click the link, it's going to bring up something different, so you should probably still be able to, depending on what device you're on, hear me. You won't necessarily be able to see me. So a couple people on the phone.
Awesome.
So we have a couple comments here as well. So full recovery is possible, absolutely. Absolutely. So Joe, I shared a link to a Google document, and what we're doing is we are contributing to the document with things that we have learned in the last 99 sessions of Recovery Secrets. So if you can pull that up, that would be super, super awesome. I know some people on their phone and can't pull that up, so I apologize about that. I don't know if you can pull it up in your browser or something like that so we can get you involved in this. So what we're going to do is we're going to contribute. We are working towards getting 100 things that we have learned. That is the goal for this. 100 things that we have learned so far in Recovery Secrets to celebrate our 100th session. And then once we get to there, I'm going to pull 3 winners from that bunch and we are going to give some prizes away. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Don't forget to put your name after the thing that you submit here. So we have something about controlling your thoughts, right? How important controlling your thoughts is. Super important. Keeping a positive mindset. Oh, I love this one. Sharna sharing, you can change the wiring of your brain. Love it. That's something we've talked about extensively, and even if we haven't talked about it in a given session, we've been doing work towards that thing. So we've been doing work towards that thing. All right, nice. Yeah, make sure you put the, your name at the end of it.
Awesome.
I love it. Okay, so for those of you who can't get into Google Docs, I'll do your submissions for you. Put them in the chat box. Put them in the chat box. I'm loved. That's an awesome one. I'm enough. I love it, Mimi. I do see your comments. I love it. So I'm showing the most important thing to do is action. Love it. I don't have any tattoos, but if I were to get tattoos, it would be action written backwards across my forehead. Just kidding. Logical thinking needs to balance emotions. I love that one, Barbara, right? Logical thinking needs to balance emotion. Awesome one. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Oh, I love it. You guys are crushing it. You're crushing it. So our goal is to get to 100. We've learned a lot. We've learned so, so much. Crushing it. Judy sharing, what others think of you doesn't mean as much as what you think of yourself. I love that one, Judy. Yes. Yes. Kim sharing, discovering false beliefs and replacing them with new thoughts chosen by the power And choosing the power they have over our life. Awesome. Awesome one. Fantastic. Now, don't worry, anyone, spelling never counts with any activity ever for me. I love it. Nice. So Sunny sharing, we learned what full recovery is, right? That was an awesome one. We did that session just yesterday.
Love it.
All right. So let me know in the chat box for those of you who can't get into Google Docs. I'll do it so we can still get you involved in the raffle. Routines are important. I love that one, right? Routines are important. Very important. Now, little bonus. How many routines do we have? How many routines do we have? These are all just ideas that you can put in. I love these. Starting hearing how to use 4 different processing tools to heal our trauma. Look at all that we've learned. Oh, Bonnie, I love that one. I love that one. I love that one. I am a hero. I am a hero. Habits are important. Right? Love this. Nice job, Larry. Nice. Again, if you can get into the Google Docs, that would be awesome. Don't forget to put your name after it so we can get you in that raffle. These are awesome. Barbara sharing, set up the next day at night, right? So what's another way that we say that? Plan tomorrow today. I love it. Awesome, awesome job. Shrika sharing, I've learned recovery is possible. What? That's an awesome one. These are fantastic. These are fantastic. To net zero and recovery hero is the aim in life, so you know where you are going. That's awesome. I love it.
I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it.
These are so good. Look at how much that we've learned in these 100 sessions or however many sessions that you've been here for. Consistency is key. Consistency is key. Awesome. Consistency is the only magic pill, right? We have all these things. We have all these topics that we've talked about, but it boils down to What three things? What three things has it boiled down to? Again, don't forget to put your name at the end of them, whether you're in the comments there or going on the Google Doc. Amazing, amazing job. Awesome. Gratitude helps change mindset to positive, right? Awesome, awesome for sharing. I'm not alone in my journey, right?
Awesome.
Oh, I love this one, Barbara. We just talked about this yesterday, right? The dominoes of recovery are circular, meaning. That they affect each other. They affect each other. Oh, Lizzie, this one's awesome. I'm not my PTSD. How about that? I am not my PTSD. That's huge. That's an enormous win. That's enormous. I love this one from Shamika. Healthy healing comes from within and I am the controller of my progress. These are so good. I love it. Oh, we're crushing it. We are crushing it. Let's keep these going. We are more than halfway to our goal of of getting 100 things. All right, we are more than halfway to that goal. Now we're working together on this. I think this is a lot of fun. I know it's a little chaotic, but it's a lot of fun. We're, we're working together to remind ourselves of 100 things that we've learned in Recovery Secrets so far. Whether you've been with us for a day or for 100 sessions, there are things that you've learned. There's more than one thing we learn in every session, right? In every session, we learn multiple, multiple things. We learn from ourselves, maybe just from showing up. Maybe it's not even about what we talk about in the session, but instead it's, it's about what we, what we think about during the session, right? What kind of comes to mind during the session. Awesome. Truth sharing: life doesn't dictate my feelings. I control those. I love it. I love it. I love it. Awesome. Bond sharing: it is most important to love and respect myself to heal. Awesome.
Awesome.
Oh, you guys are crushing it. I'm so proud of you. I'm so, so proud of you. I'm so proud of you. I cannot even express how proud I am. Crushing it. We're in the 60s. Let's keep it going. What else have you learned? Delane sharing journaling can bring clarity, right? The clarity and releasing tool we call that one. Awesome job, you guys. All right, what else? What else do we have? Oh, Joanne, what a good one. That's a good one, Joanne, sharing, just when it starts to get hard, you're almost there. That's a huge lesson to learn. Just when it starts to get hard, you're almost there. Nina sharing, gratitude controls my thinking.
Love it.
I love it. Awesome job, you guys. Ooh, I love this one too, Bonnie. It is never too late to heal and become my best self ever, ever, ever, ever. Theresa, I love this one. I don't quit. I don't quit. Awesome. Right. Awesome job. Pain is my friend because it's showing me what I need to change. Amazing one, Joe. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Oh my God, you guys are in the 70s. We're in the 70s. My goal is to get to 100 of these, 100 things that we have learned in the last 100 sessions here. Y'all are crushing it. Awesome. I love this one. Shamika sharing how to separate my trigger responses from my true self and address them differently. That's fantastic. Fantastic. Bonnie sharing, healing and Brad are rock stars. Thank you, Bonnie. I've learned that each and every one of you are rock stars. My recovery depends on my positive mindset routines and actions. Oh my goodness, I love these. I'm so proud of you. If you don't take action on processing, you won't heal. Beautiful, beautiful. Awesome. I am not my wounds. Love it. Love it. Amazing job. Bonnie sharing, you must be aware of the problem before you can solve it. Absolutely. Absolutely. We're in the 80s. We're in the 80s, you guys. Let's keep them going. I know I'm a little slow on the take here. Pat sharing, I'm an observer as I am preparing for meetings today. Great to hear all the reminders and refreshers. Yeah. Amazing job. The observer, right? The observer of all things. I can only control myself. Awesome one, Teresa. I think we all need that reminder from time to time. Oh, I love this one, Bonnie. This one is near and dear to me. Healing is not the big bad wolf. Healing is not the big bad wolf. Who's the wolf?
Who's the wolf? I love it.
So for those of you commenting in the chat, I am going and I am putting them in the Google Doc as well. So I am manually putting them in the Google Doc. So we're getting them in because I want you all to have an equal opportunity to Contribute and win prizes. Awesome. We're almost in the 90s here. We are almost in the 90s. This sheet is looking amazing. Amazing. Lizzy, I love this one. I can say no and it's good for me. And it's a complete sentence. Awesome. I am relearning how to learn. That's great, Mika. That's awesome. There are so many things we might be relearning or learning for the first time. Delaine sharing the 5-count breathing exercise. It's one of my favorites. So easy to do. You can do it anywhere. Great. Making healing time a priority will make your life 100 times better. Maybe more. Maybe even more.
No.
Awesome job, Bonnie. You can't change what you don't acknowledge. Jeanette, amazing. Amazing. You cannot change what you do not acknowledge. You have to face it, right? And healing is not the big bad wolf. Who's the wolf? Healing is part of discovering your true self.
Awesome.
All right, we're into the 90s here. We are almost at that goal. We're almost at that goal. Bonnie sharing, broken relationships can be mended. Never give up hope. Awesome, love that one. Teresa sharing, do the work. It's hard but worth it in the long run. Absolutely, absolutely. Barbara sharing, I set healthy boundaries in each situation. That's great. Look at all these things that we learned. Ella sharing, discipline equals freedom. The feeling these are going to stick around. Discipline equals freedom. Generating healthy boundaries are a good thing towards healing. Absolutely, absolutely. Oh, Lizzie, I love this one. My growth has no age limit. My growth has no age limit. Fantastic. Oh, we are well into the 90s here. We are so close to that goal. We're at 95. By the time I get through the rest of these comments, we are there. We are there. Ella sharing, execute relaxed action and laser focus. I love it. I love it. Sharing butterfly hug helps to calm the mind and emotions. Awesome. Every single person deserves to be their best self. I love that one, Bonnie. It's one of my core beliefs. My core beliefs. Sharing writing is healing. Stop if you're getting too stressed. I love it. I love it. Sharing, life is not about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself. I love that one. Love it. All right, guys, I think we're there. We are there. We have completed 100. I'll put the rest for those of you who are in the chat box, or you can kind of finish up your thoughts in the chat box. I'll, I'll make sure I add them to the document. If you're in the document, finish up your thoughts in the document. But congratulations. We just got to 100 things that we've learned. We're gonna go over them in a second here, but we've gotten to 100 things that we've learned over the last 100 sessions. We worked together as a team, as a community. That was so much fun. Appreciate your patience and your flexibility on that. So congratulations. Let's pat ourselves on the back for that. And what I want you to, beyond what we're talking about here today and beyond, we're gonna refresh on some of these things, is realize is how many things you can kind of rattle off. And now it's gonna be a lot slower typing. But if we were sitting here having a conversation, if we were sitting here in a room, it would've been a lot faster to just speak them, right? And so how many things you can actually think about, how many things you know without even realizing that you know them, you might not even, you might not even know that you know them until you're prompted. And so something like this, I call it a knowledge challenge or a knowledge check-in, is just a way to realize how much that you've learned and reinforce these things that you've learned. So congratulations on that. Let me add the last few here. To the document, and then we're gonna go through them. Now again, spelling did not count, so great job everyone. I see a lot of red lines. I'm used to that on all my Google Docs, so congratulations on achieving that goal. I want you to see how capable you are. When I was thinking about, you know, what we're gonna kind of do here for our 100th session, I was like, I don't know if that's, that's too big of a goal. If that's a, if that's gonna overwhelm people. And you all crushed it, and a lot faster than I thought you would, to be totally honest with you. A lot faster than I thought you would. So amazing, amazing job. And again, that would've been a tremendous, tremendous amount faster had we been speaking them or had you just been thinking them. So I want you to just take that in, think about that. You can do that at any time. You can stop and you can just check in with yourself and you can just ask yourself, what are 5 things I've learned in the, in this last week? And when you challenge yourself, your brain, when you ask, your brain is going to give you the answers. It is going to deliver. Ask and you shall receive, right? Your brain is going to give it to you. It is going to give it to you. All right, so amazing, amazing job. Congratulations with all that. Everyone did amazing on Google Docs. I had no idea how that would go. I thought it would be a total mess, and it, and it was, but it was a very, very good mess. Barbara sharing, having a celebratory tour, a celebratory cup of coffee. That's awesome. That is awesome. Judy asking, what is an anonymous alligator? Judy, that's a great question. Great question. That's what Google Docs will just make up, make up things when you are not signed into Google Docs. So it just tells you you're like anonymous. So it lets you be anonymous when you're, when you're doing that commenting. So what do we have? How many do we have? We have 110.
110.
Things that we have learned that we just came up with in the last 20 minutes. We were doing that exercise for 20 minutes together as a group. Again, it's going to take a lot longer typing and putting it in the chat, and I was copying it over. So I want to go through some of them. So I'm going to bring it up now. Amazing, amazing job. Every time I go to share my screen, I almost end, almost end our chat or our session. So let's go through some of these. And then what I'm going to do is we're going to do, we're going to do, we'll do the prizes. Again, congratulations on getting here, getting to this point in the process. I know some of you, it is literally your 100th session. Some of you, it might be your 10th or your first or whatever it is. Congratulations nonetheless. Thank you for being here with us. I wanted to do a fun thing today. I wanted to celebrate you today more than anything, you and the things that you've learned here. And you all brought that forward. You brought that energy, you brought that knowledge. I didn't bring any knowledge here today. Nothing. I gave one example in the beginning, right? But I didn't bring that knowledge. Each and every one of you brought that knowledge, that healing knowledge that you have inside of you. And now we have this document as a group here, right? So I love this. Never give up. Imperfection can be a good thing. Control your thoughts. You don't need validation from others. Always be aware. Keep a positive mindset. Community is important. Be kind to yourself. Progress, not perfection. My healing is so possible and I will protect what I gained at any cost. I'm gonna protect myself, take care of myself. I love it. Discipline and consistency every step of the way in every aspect of life. My brain is capable to heal itself at night. Okay? My brain actually knows what to do. I love that one, Mimi. Healing means to love life again. Healing is to be happy again. I'm not what I have gone through. When I'm triggered, I don't generate secondary darts. Nice one. Next level one, Mimi. Nice. I calm myself and deal with the first dart. Helping others helps me. Awesome. Introspection is my best way to solve mysteries of the past. Another great way to think about that. I am loved. The most important thing to do is take action. Logical thinking needs to balance emotions. You can change the wiring of your brain by thinking in different ways. Again, progress, not perfection. Awesome. Focusing on gratitude changes your brain. What others think of you doesn't mean as much as what you think of yourself. We learned what full recovery is. We learned that routines are important. We learned that things that are easy to do are also easy not to do. Awesome one. We learned how to use 4 different processing tools to heal our trauma. We discovered false beliefs and learned how to replace them with new thoughts chosen by the power that they can have or hold over our life. We learned that the things you're afraid of are the things that are most important to address. Oh, I love this one. Your healing exists just on the other side of them, on the other side of that comfort zone, on the other side of the thing you're afraid of. That's where you want to go. That is your ideal destination. We learn that habits are important. We learn that I'm a hero. Each and every one of you, I want you to say that right now to yourself. I am a hero. I am my hero. And you are. We learn that we need to plan tomorrow today. We learn that recovery is possible. We learn that consistency is the key. Attending classes makes a huge difference. We learned that hard work is healing, that self-love is essential to healing, to not depend on others to do that work for you. We learned that bilateral processing puts your brain to work evaluating your beliefs and understanding which of them is necessary to change them. We learned that healthy boundaries are a good thing towards healing. We learned how to use meditation to calm your mind in the middle of triggers. We learned that visualization is powerful and can help. We learned how to visualize a safe space and a calm space. that you can call on it when you need it. We learned that questioning can get to the bottom of why we believe what we believe. We learned that consistency is key. We learned how to sit with comfortable feelings. That's awesome. We learned the GPS route for the recovery hero, right? We understand that concept. We learned a mindset routine and processing. Those are our pillars, right? We learned that doing the wrong things is better than not doing them at all, right? Imperfection, again, coming up in a different way. These are amazing. We learn that mistakes are important and part of the learning process, that everything is foundational according to me. Yes. Okay. So every single thing that I say is foundational and essential and elemental in your healing. I love that one, Sharni. We learn that healthy healing comes from within and that each and every one of us are the controller of that progress. We learn that discipline equals freedom. We learn that pain is our friend, that we use that moment of being triggered or being in pain to identify and change And release those emotions. Beautiful, beautiful. We learned that gratitude's helped to change our mindset to be more positive. We learned that it's never too late to heal and become our best selves. We learned that we're not alone on this journey. This activity was a great example of that. We are not alone on this journey. We are a community of people creating this together. We learned that the dominoes of our career are circular, meaning they affect each other, meaning that one has impact on the other. We learned that I am not my PTSD, right? We are 2 separate things. PTSD is something we have, like a cold or a sneeze, right? It's something we have, not something we are. Very different things. We learned that we must be aware of the problems before we can solve them. Can't solve a problem if you don't know it exists. We learned to do the work, that it's hard, but in the long run, it is worth it. We learned that we don't quit. We are here, we are showing up, and if we don't quit, we are guaranteed to Win. We learned that my recovery depends on positive mindset routines and actions. I love that one. We learned that I am not my wounds. Broken relationships can be mended. And never give up hope. If you don't take action on processing, you won't heal. We learned to imagine what our recovery hero would do and take action accordingly. We learned to do the work, the hard work, but worth that work in the long run. We learned how to separate trigger responses from true self and address them differently. We learn pain is our friend 'cause it's showing us what we need to change. We learn how to use safe space to create a sense of calm. We learn how to say no and that it's good for us. We learn how to learn. We're learning how to learn, how to learn these different things. We learn the 5-count breathing exercise. We learn that gratitude controls our thinking. We learn about physical health aids and how physical health aids mental health and the connection between the 2 areas. We learn that pain and distress is the price of freedom. Absolutely. And since we're in pain and distress, we might as well use that.
Yeah.
To pay off that price of freedom. That's awesome. We learned just when it starts to get harder, you are almost there and you should keep going. We learned it's most important to love and respect yourself to heal, that journaling can bring clarity, that making healing priority will make your life 100 times better. Look at all these things that we've learned. All these things that we've learned. We've learned so much. And there's so much more that's not even on here, that's not even represented, because I challenge you Out of the gate, right? I surprised you with this exercise really to just say, hey, what have you learned? So it had to be off the top of your head. If you sit and continue to think, you could come up with your own list of 100. You could sit here and come up with your own list of 100. We learned that healing is part of discovering your true self. We learned that you can't change what you don't acknowledge. We learned that slow and steady wins the race, that consistency. We learned that some days just not giving up is progress. Absolutely. We learned— this one's in progress— what triggers you is exactly what you need to work on. Absolutely. That life doesn't dictate your feelings, you control your feelings. Absolutely. We learned how to identify issues and not ignore them. We learned that the butterfly hug helps to calm the mind and emotions. We learned that every single person deserves to be their best self. We learned short-term pain, long-term pleasure. We learned that we can only control ourselves. We learned that we're the observer. We learned that healing is not the big bad wolf. We learned about self-talk. I'm pretty sure that one was supposed to say. We learned that to execute relaxed action and laser focus and how powerful that can be. We learned that my growth has no age limit. We learned how to take action. Love that one's in all caps. We learned that action breeds motivation, not the other way around. Awesome side note there, Lorena. Awesome. We learned to not hit snooze in the morning. To put your alarm across the room and get vertical first thing. We learned that people won't necessarily see the value in your boundaries, and it's okay. We learned that deciding ahead of time how you will spend the following day guarantees you'll be choosing your highest desires. I love that one, Kim. We learned that if you're showing up, you are winning. Absolutely. We learned that thoughts create feelings, create actions. Be aware of thoughts. Amazing, amazing one, Jeanette. We learned to be your true self so you can be true to others. Love that one, Lizzie. We learned to not be afraid to ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid question. We learned you can find gratitude in every situation. I love that one, Bonnie. We learned that we can stop if we're getting too stressed. We learned that we're not broken. We learned about the 4 routines, right? Morning, night, healing. What else? What other routine do we have? 4 routines, 3 routines, 3 recovery routines. It's typically what we say there, right? We learned that life is not about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself. Amazing, amazing job with that exercise. And we learned a lot more here. So amazing, amazing job. Amazing. Shamika, I know I spelled your name wrong every single time. I put a K in there at times. That is my weakest area is spelling and typing, especially while I'm trying to multitask.
Right?
But look at all these amazing things that we learned. I want you to celebrate that. I want you to acknowledge that. We just, as a team, as a community, came up with over 100 things that we have learned. And if we did this again, we could come up with 100 more that we have learned over the past 100 sessions, 10 sessions. I bet we could come up with 100 things that we've learned every single week. Every single week, I bet we could do that exercise and come up with 100 amazing things that we have learned. Amazing things. So I want you all to pat yourself on the back. I want you to take this as an opportunity to pause and reflect and think about how amazing this journey has been so far, how much we've learned and how much we can continue to learn in the next 100 sessions. I don't know what exactly the date of that will be. I think it'll still be this year. I think there's still enough time in the year to get another 100 sessions in, but another 100 sessions, how much are we going to learn between now and then? So I want you to look back to, if you've been with us since March, even if you haven't, I want you to look back on the last couple of months and look at how different you are from a couple of months ago, or even just look at how different you are from 6 months or a year ago and how much you've learned and how much knowledge you've gained. And sometimes, the knowledge we've gained doesn't directly impact our life, or rather, when we put things into action, there's a lag time, right? I have a shirt I sometimes wear. It says, love the lag, because when we learn something and start to implement it, let's say that's in March, we might not start to see the results till August, September, right? Because there's this lag time. We start to— we change our diet, maybe we start a workout routine. You don't get done with the first workout and you have your ideal body type, or you don't eat that first meal and you have your ideal body type, whatever that looks like. There's a lag between when you actually start that action and when you see the results of that action. So, amazing job with this exercise. What I'm going to do now is we'll do some prizes. We have 3 prizes to pick from. Either I'll send you out a signed copy of the book, we'll do a 30-minute one-on-one coaching session with me, or we will do a mystery item from our store. So those are going to be your options. So I'm going to go one by one here. I'm going to do a random number generator and we're going to do some— we'll do some prizes. So let's see, we have 112 things in there. Let's see. Share this with you all. So we're gonna do 3, 3 winners for today, and each of you will get to pick either a signed copy of the book, The Art of Trauma Relief, a 30-minute one-on-one coaching session with me, or a mystery item from our store. All right, so here we go. 1 to 112. Let's see, number 60. Let's see who is number 60. Number 60. Number 60. Lizzie B. Lizzie B, congratulations. You are our first winner of our 100th celebration session here today. So Lizzie, let me know, would you like a signed copy of The Art of Trauma Relief sent to you? Would you like a 30-minute one-on-one coaching session? Or would you like a mystery item from our store that will be a physical merchandise item? Let me know there in the chat box. If you're still with us here, Lizzie, let me know. Awesome job. Oh, this is so much fun. I love it. Oh, Jeanette, I love that one. I love that one. When stuck, ask, how can I? How can I? Awesome. One-on-one. Awesome, Lizzy. So I'm gonna have you email me. Just email me with the subject line and we'll schedule that up. Congratulations, Lizzy, our first winner of the day. Amazing, amazing job. So let's do it again. So we're gonna do this 3 times. So let's do it again. Amazing, amazing job. Share my screen. Let me know if you like this kind of format. Of course, we won't do this all the time, but I thought it would be a fun way to end the week because it happens to be a Friday and celebrate our 100th session. While doing some fun, some learning, some refresh. So our next winner is, drum roll, 54. For 54, who's number 54? Ella. Ella. Oh, and I love this one, right? Discipline equals freedom. Ella. So if you're still with us here, Ella, let me know in the chat box. Would you like a signed copy of the book sent out to you, a one-on-one coaching set, a 30-minute one-on-one coaching session with me, or a mystery item from our store? Let me know. Let me know. So congratulations, Lizzie, so far. Congratulations, Ella. Again, if you're still here with us, let me know. Lizzie, congratulations. Congratulations. Lizzie is sharing. Thank you. I never win these things. That's awesome. I'm so glad you did then. I'm so glad you did. I wish I could give everyone a lollipop. I wish we were in person. Someday we're going to do an in-person event and it would be amazing to have lollipops for everyone. I don't know where the end of that thought was going. It's going to be amazing to do an in-person event. We were hoping to get one done this year, but It's not in the cards. Congratulations, Ella. So if you are here with us still, let me know. All right. All right. We'll give Ella some time. Oh yes. Oh yes. All right. Ella taking the signed copy of the book. Awesome. Awesome job. So Ella, same thing. I'm going to ask you to email me with the subject line 100, and then I'm just going to confirm that I have the right address on file for you. All right. Congratulations, Ella. Lizzie. Great. Awesome. Super, super, super. Okay, so let's do one more. One more. Let me share my screen here again. Okay, so our 3rd and final winner of the day here today, drum roll please, is 108. 108. Who do we have? 108. Bonnie Cousins. You can find gratitude in every situation. Congratulations, Bonnie. Would you like a signed copy of the book?
Yes, please.
Would you like a 30-minute one-on-one coaching session or a mystery item from the store? Let me know, Bonnie. Congratulations on that. Congratulations. Amazing. This has been so— I hope you all have enjoyed this. This has been so much fun. A little bit different, obviously, than what we normally do, but so, so, so much fun to do. Awesome. Ella, Lizzie, Bonnie, congratulations. Amazing, amazing job. All of you, all of you contributed to this. This is the first time that in this area of my life I've ever done a truly group activity like that where we're all contributing and it's been online. And this was a ton of fun because we got to work together as a community. Bonnie's amazing. Bonnie is amazing. Okay, so Bonnie's saying— Bonnie would like to gift Her win to somebody else. So we will do another number. Another number. Bonnie, that's amazing of you. That's super, super generous. And I'm happy that you did that because I have something on its way to you anyway. Awesome. All right. So we'll do one more. Bonnie is a great hero. You are all great heroes. You are all great heroes. So we'll do one more. All right. Let's see. Let's share the screen here. Okay. So now our third and final winner is drum roll, please.
41.
41. Let's see, 41. Jeanette. Healthy boundaries are a good thing toward healing. Jeanette, congratulations! Congratulations, Jeanette! Let me know in the chat box there, would you like a signed copy of the book sent out to you? Would you like a 30-minute one-on-one coaching session? Or would you like a mystery item from the store? Let me know. Amazing, amazing job everyone with this. Amazing. Congratulations, Bonnie, Ella, Lizzie, Jeanette.
Awesome.
All right. I've enjoyed the fun and joy of the session. I'm glad. I'm glad it has been fun. I'm glad it has been fun. Pat also agreeing. Judy agreeing with that. Lorna sharing, I could have never imagined the 100th would be like this, but it's such a cool idea. I'm super, super glad. Awesome. Yeah. Congratulations, Jeanette. Great job. Oh, this has been so much fun. All right. So, Jeanette, let me know there in the comments if you're still with us. Amazing job. Yes, absolutely, Teresa. So Teresa's sharing, we are all winners just for sharing what we've learned. You read my mind with that. Absolutely. You are winning because you are here. You are here. You are showing up. You are contributing to this in an amazing, amazing positive way. We all contributed to this because if we didn't all contribute, we wouldn't have gotten to 100. We wouldn't have gotten past 100. We exceeded our goal. We set out a goal. I don't know how many of you at the beginning of the session, when you heard me say, we're gonna do 100, 100 things, we're gonna come up with 100 things that we've learned. If anyone doubted themselves at the beginning, I want you to look what we've accomplished as a team, as a group. Never doubt yourself. You are so, so capable. And again, if you sat down, I guarantee, I guarantee you could come up with 100 things just on your own. So Jeanette, We'll get a signed copy of the book your way. Again, I'm going to send you my email. So if you can just send me an email with the subject line 100, I want to just confirm your address before we send it out. Okay. Awesome job, everyone. Congratulations on being here. I just want to thank you all again so much for, for being members, for being here, for contributing. This is so, so amazing to be able to, to do. This is so, so amazing to be able to do. Each and every day. And, it makes me feel extreme gratitude that I get to show up and be on with you live. That is something that we've never been able to do before. We've done different live sessions here and there, but to do a live session every day of the week is so much fun. It is so exciting every single day. It is so amazing to connect. A lot of the time, from a selfish point of view, to be honest with you, a lot of times in this work, It's very disconnected. So I'll make content and then someone will watch it on their own or listen to it on their own in the podcast or in the program or on YouTube or whatever it is. And there's a huge disconnect. So to be able to be here with you all every day is so amazing. And to be able to be in the community with you and to be able to do game nights and community nights and the sessions that we do with Ryan and all sorts of stuff like that is so amazing. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for being here. Thank you so much for being amazing members. You contribute in so many different ways. to this community as we exemplify today how powerful each and every one of you are to make up that community, make up that list. I will send that list. Yeah, I can send that list out. So, Teresa asking a particular number that I had in mind. A particular number that I had in mind. I had different numbers for how long I wanted to spend on it. So, I wanted to, of course, kind of keep the session engaging. We could have spent 40 minutes on that. I had expected to spend like 30 minutes on that. We spent about 20 minutes and we got to 110. I was expecting 30 minutes and to get to 150, which was possible if we were all on Google Docs. I also expected us all to be able to get on Google Docs. So we had some people everywhere doing different things, and I know we had some people just listening that couldn't contribute. So amazing, amazing job. That was our goal. We exceeded it. We exceeded it, and we didn't spend enough time or have enough kind of work working for us to get to what I had in my head. But we are very capable of doing that. Again, I wanted to make sure that the session was still engaged and fun as well, that I wasn't just kind of sitting there typing everyone's thing in the whole time. So that was the number that I had in mind. And probably what we'll do in the future, if we do something like this, I'll let you all know ahead of time so that we can get all set with Google Docs so we can have more people on the Google Docs. We'll set a timer and we'll do it and it'll be fantastic. So I will resend the link to the Google Docs. You will have the ability to, I mean, you'll still have the ability to edit this if you want, but I, you'll be able to download it as well. Awesome. And save it if you want. Anyone that wants to go through and fix all the spelling mistakes, you're, you're, you're more than welcome to. Amazing job. All right, so we have a couple of minutes left here. I, I know I have a couple more comments here and then I have to jump off for another call. You've been sharing. I'm so filled with gratitude every day since I started the BTU program. Thank you. It changed my life. I used to be grateful, but not as this. That is awesome, Mimi. You have crushed it. You have honestly just genuinely crushed the work from day one. It's been beautiful and it's been amazing. And like I said, each and every one of you are such valuable members of this community. Lizzy sharing, I'm in tears and so grateful for this group. Thank you all. That's amazing. I love that this was a community event today. Everyone who's here, I mean, Jeanette, Kim, Mimi, Teresa, Larry, Joe, Shamika. Lizzie, Bonnie, Barbara, Jarnie, just scrolling up here through people. If I didn't mention you, like, just amazing job. Amazing job being here. And you are such a valuable member, each and every one of you, of this community. If you're watching after the fact, you are as well, right? If you're watching after the fact, you could still actually contribute to that Google Doc. Kim, thank you. Thank you. It is so, so amazing to be able to, to be here and, and do this work with each and every one of you. Joe, thank you for hopping in there, doing that editing. Amazing. So one last time, congratulations, congratulations, congratulations on our achievement of, for a lot of you, 100 sessions of Recovery Secrets. But for each and every one of you here today, 100 pieces of knowledge that we have learned about recovery in the last some period of time. So amazing job. Pat yourself on the back. Give yourself a round of applause. Celebrate yourself. Enjoy the fact that you are growing, you are learning, you are making progress. If you put one thing on that list, or if you thought of one thing while we were doing that exercise, you are growing, you are making progress, you are learning, you are moving forward. So amazing job with everything this week. Again, continue to check the events tab on Facebook. We have a social night coming up in a couple weeks. Ryan's session was this week, which is awesome. So we'll schedule another game night. We'll schedule another session with Ryan. And all sorts of stuff like that. Like I said, congratulate.
I love you all.
I believe in you at the very, very highest level. We'll be back to our normal schedule this coming week, which is a round robin schedule. We'll be back to our voting for topics for a Friday session. So have an amazing, wonderful weekend. Keep taking action. More than anything, what I want you to focus on this weekend though is celebrating yourself, acknowledging that you are growing, you are changing. Pat yourself on the back, you know, kind of beat on your chest a little bit and congratulate yourself. We don't do that enough. I encourage you to do that, but we don't do that enough. There's honestly, there's no enough for that. So take the time this weekend to celebrate yourself, to say, hey, you're doing great. You are growing, you are making progress, and nobody can take that away. So I love you all. I believe in you at the very highest level. Congratulations again on your amazing achievement today and your amazing achievement throughout the year here so far. I love you. I'll see you bright and early Monday morning.
Hey everybody, thank you so much for listening to this podcast. If you want to learn more about how you can coach with me directly, There's a link in the description you can check out.
