Today we're going to look at the 3rd way out of the top 3 ways that ADHD can disrupt relationships. And that would be feeling misunderstood. If you are feeling misunderstood because you're not able to get your thoughts out really well and you're sometimes saying something that you intentionally are trying to have it come in a certain way and not cause frustration and anger and somehow even really focusing on the right words to say, You end up having the exact result you did not want to have and having that blow up. It's really good first off to explain to your partner where you were coming from and what you wanted to do. And separate from that primary relationship, find ADHD friends. So join ADHD peer groups, virtual groups. There's, there's plenty of them online. And you hear their stories about how your communication works and how your brains work.
