When ADHD can become dangerous. If you have ADHD, that means that you're probably more prone to emotional dysregulation, which makes you defensive and argumentative, more addictive behaviors. You're more prone to doing risky things that are very impetuous in immediate response to something without thinking through all of the consequences. It's important to understand this so that you can better manage it and learn ways to better manage it. In the case of things like addictions, it's pretty easy to see if you are spending too much time or money on things like gambling or alcohol, drugs, sex. So anything that potentially could be a risky behavior is really good to pay attention to and look at ways that you can kind of parent yourself, moderate yourself if you're going to be in a situation where you're engaging in an activity that could potentially become dangerous.
