The Amazon cryptocurrency scam. Last month, there were rumors that Amazon was going to release its own digital currency, which would be pretty cool. You could buy stuff on their platform. I mean, that probably would do really, really well. Well, scammers took to the streets and started launching campaigns that were mimicking real news sources breaking this. They photoshopped places like CNBC and Yahoo Finance and The Guardian reporting on this breaking token news and also announcing that the pre-list was happening, that you could buy in through their link. From the first reports, they've already scammed over $100,000 from users, and hopefully no more. So don't buy into the Amazon Coin scam.
