Confidence isn't shouting affirmations in the mirror. It's stacking up undeniable proof that you are who you say you are. It starts typically with small things. I make my bed in the morning. I wake up on time. I show up to meetings on time. I'm the type of person that's disciplined. I work out. I do things that I say I'm gonna do. If I tell a friend I'm gonna be there at this time, I'm there. What happens is you start building confidence in who you are as a human. You're someone that's dependable. You're someone that has a good handshake, good smile. What happens is you stack these things up and actually write them down, and then the affirmations make sense. Then when you affirm in the mirror, you shout at yourself, I'm someone who shows up on time because last week I had a bunch of meetings and guess what? I showed up on time to 9 outta 10 of 'em. I was on time. I work out 5 days a week and last week, guess what? I worked out 5 days. Ta-da! Confidence compounds and builds on itself through small wins and then you have an incredibly confident person. And especially when you're confident, you have energy, you can figure out any problem in this world.
