This is a YouTube video titled "Crypto Fund Manager Predicts What We Can Expect for 2026" (uploaded January 9, 2023). The excerpt is a spoken market-analysis segment by a single speaker (a crypto fund manager) discussing expectations for the crypto market through 2026: increased volatility and choppiness tied to macroeconomic conditions, the impact of Fed rate moves, crypto behaving as an amplified version of equities, the relatively small total crypto market cap (under $1 trillion) compared to major tech companies, and an analogy to mid-1990s internet stocks.

Where do you think we're at right now? What does your crystal ball look like just for the crypto market in general? Here's my not financial advice, just analysis of what I see. I think we're gonna have a lot more volatility and choppiness, which mirrors macroeconomics. So whatever stocks are doing, that being affected by inflation and interest rates, right? Yeah. So now the Fed's, they've come down a little bit, what, to half a point, right? Rate hikes. Slowing the rate hikes. Yes. Yeah. And then eventually it'll get to a zero point. And then maybe at a certain point, it'll go in the other direction. That, That's what we hope. And that'll be the catalyst of the broad market. So I want you to think about crypto as more of an amplification of equities and the broad market. If we see— and we'll see it like, for example, today, if you see a 1% S&P correction, in crypto, you'll see, you know, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, right? It's just an amplified version of that because all of crypto put together, as we talked about, is less than $1 trillion, which is smaller than Apple or Amazon. It's a very small market cap. Yeah. So it's just like a big stock position with some sub-stock positions, really. But again, it's very emerging, it's kind of like internet stocks in the '90s. That was very small market cap back then. But now those tech stocks dominate our markets, right? Like Apple dominates, Amazon dominates. So I think you're going to see this shift to domination. So being involved in crypto now when it's under a trillion-dollar total market cap feels like mid-'90s tech stocks.
