Should you have a job while you're doing a side hustle? Should you go all in? I don't think you build the side hustle just to have another job. The purpose of building a side hustle is to test and play the market for maybe a couple months to see if that could eventually take over your full-time job. We live in a society of skill-based jobs where if you can get the most skilled at something, you will typically get paid more for that thing. And so if your side hustle is not going to build you new skills in your one income source that will make you the most money, then I don't think you should do it. But if it's gonna be something that you can build a lot of skills in and/or add a lot of value to an economy with that could eventually replace your 9 to 5, then totally go out and start building that on the side until it can come out and take over your 9 to 5.
