Bridger Pennington, a BYU graduate and finance degree holder, built Fulcrum Home Loans and then shifted to social media. He posted daily videos starting July 2023 and reached one million followers in a year without making a single sales pitch.

I graduated BYU, played basketball at BYU, graduated in finance, and started a mortgage company right out of college. And I love Fulcrum Home Loans. I'm still in that business every single day. But I love entrepreneurship and the startup. Like, that's where my heart's at. And so once I realized that, I decided to start social media because businesses nowadays— you used to start a business and figure out a marketing plan. You now find a marketing plan and put a business around it. Every billion-dollar company in the last 5 years was started through influence. And so I was like, let's just start. If I can get 10,000 followers— Let's see what happens. Yeah, it'd be awesome. So what's the timeline here? When did you start posting videos? First video posted was July 2023, so 2 years ago exactly. And first 6, 8 weeks, nothing happened. All my friends just called me an idiot. Um, but I told myself I'd post every single day for a year. Yeah. Never sell one time and see what happens. Yeah. And about 8 weeks in, it started to go. And so we had a million followers in the first year and just kind of ran with it.
