Crypto and NFTs are currently going through the Gartner hype cycle. If you haven't seen this graph before, this describes a lot of emerging technologies. Typically you get the trigger of technology, a huge hype run-up, and then a major crash. Think about the dot-com bubble. You then have this bottom called the trough of disillusionment. Right now, that's, I feel like that's where we're at, especially with NFTs. Like people don't know where it's at. And then finally out of that, you come to the plateau of productivity. So again, think back to the dot-com bubble. This is where companies like Yahoo, Google, AOL came out and said, oh, these are actually useful companies. They're not just some internet fad. I believe utility-based NFTs and utility crypto is going to be what drives this plateau of productivity into the future because the underlying technology of crypto blockchain is unfreaking real. We just need to find the right utility behind that.
