A four-step process for launching an investment fund. Steps 1-3 take a week to several months depending on your situation. Legal documents typically take eight to ten weeks, though the fastest cases finish in three to four weeks. The whole thing can compress to two to three months instead of the typical eight months to a year.

So how long does it take you to set up and launch a full investment fund? Now if you watch some of my videos, we teach the Fund Launch Formula, a 4-step formula to launch your fund. Now steps 1, 2, and 3 is all about you figuring out your thesis, your team, which can be very fast, that could be a week, or it could be multiple months figuring out your thesis and team and how to put that together. Step 4 is gonna be when you're doing your legal documents, which usually take, at the short end, maybe 3 to 4 weeks, but an average timeline is probably 8 to 10 weeks to get all of the legal docs set up your fund. So most people online will tell you maybe it's 8 months to a year to launch your full fund. People that we work with, we actually shorten that timeline a ton, and usually it's about maybe 2 to 3 months to get their full fund launched and off the ground where they're raising capital and even can be deploying that capital into positions.
