Entrepreneurs should attend many networking events because most won't matter, but a few will. Lincoln raised $30 million in a year by going to 24 paid events. Only 4 or 5 of them generated $20-22 million of that total.

you're going to kiss a lot of frogs. Sure. And some will kiss you back and some won't. Meaning you're going to go to a lot of events and I've had people come, I went to that event, it wasn't good. I'm like, well, saddle up, buddy. Like, I'll tell you last year. So Lincoln, we raised— Lincoln, my business partner, he was the main guy raising money. We raised about $30 million last year. He went to roughly 24 paid events. 12 to 15 really didn't have anything meaningful come from them. I bet 4 to 5 raised him $20 to $22 million.
