The U.S. Treasury values gold at $42 per ounce, a relic from decades ago. If revalued to today's $4,400, it could add $800 billion to the balance sheet. The speaker speculates the government might be buying gold to improve debt ratios, and wonders if the same buyer is moving Bitcoin and gold prices together.

an interesting conspiracy right now. Will the US revalue its gold reserves? Currently, the United States gold reserves are valued at $42 an ounce. This was written a few months ago at a price of $3,400. That would create nearly $800 billion of value. Now today, we're not at $3,400, we're at $4,400 an ounce. Institutional investors right now, we are seeing a historic low for cash positions, 3.8% in 12 years. As global liquidity keeps going up, we are seeing gold go parabolic. Bitcoin went up and then chopped way down. Who is this buyer? One theory is it's the United States government pushing billions of dollars into gold to then reprice its gold, say, hey, our debt-to-GDP, debt-to-balance sheet ratio isn't so bad. Maybe we'll sell some gold. That's kind of a crazy theory, but we got some interesting people in the White House right now that are pretty smart trying to figure out this debt problem. Could also do a similar thing with Bitcoin. Again, Bitcoin's price has been suppressed a lot in the last 30 days. Keep following this closely, but follow along to stay in the loop.
