So, welcome people on Facebook, on Instagram, YouTube. Across the board, welcome in, you guys. Uh, let's dive in. So everything today is gonna be around events, how I like to go to events, how I attend events, et cetera. Um, and, uh, how I believe I've made millions of dollars from being in events and attending events. So let me tell you a quick story. So let me take you back to 2019. Uh, 2019, Mason— actually, this is 2018, excuse me. Mason Vrains, my business partner now at Funnel Launch. We're in college. You guys, a lot of you guys know my story. I, we started 6 different businesses my first year of college. So I started this. We did like a website building company. I did real estate wholesaling. I did Chinese tutoring in college. These are all these little businesses I was starting and actually was decently successful. I was making, you know, for a college kid, making $5,000 or $10,000 was massive. I mean, that's huge money for a college kid. And so I thought it was pretty cool. And I actually then started my fund. So I started my fund in college, was running my fund, actually doing decently well. I was making, you know, at the time I was like, okay, I want to make $1,000 a month. And I was making $5,000 a month, then $10,000 a month. I was making over $6,000 figures a year in college running my fund, which was pretty cool. So during this time period, Mason, who was a friend at the time, we'd worked on a few business projects together. He says, Bridger, you got to come to this event in Idaho with these online marketer people. Like, this will really change your life. I said, okay, whatever. So I hop in a car, we drive to Idaho. It's like 4 or 5 hours away from— I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah. We go to this event and it's a small event. It's probably 200 people. So we go, we're in this event. We, uh, we go in and it's a guy named Steve and, uh, we, we sit down and he starts to speak on stage. I've never been to an event like this ever. And he starts talking about online marketing, building a brand, building a, you know, a culture around an audience. And for whatever reason, it gave me and Mason this idea in the back of our brains, like, what if we did this kind of a thing online? And that event shifted my perspective on online business and what you could possibly do. I always had a goal and a dream of doing something big in life, whatever, and thought, man, who could we serve? So then a few months later, we went to another event out in Nashville, Tennessee. So we flew out. This is a big event. This is like 3,000 people. There were all these online marketer people. We go to this event and at the event, the person on stage challenged us. To lean in to what we were, and we were listening to. It was all around online marketing, and at the time, again, I had no Instagram following, no presence online, nothing. We were just zero. I was running this kind of fund in the background, and Mason and I were like, "I wonder if people would like to learn about funds, like if funds would be interesting for people. If we could build a community of people around investment funds and building funds." He's like, "Bridger, you you currently run a fund. You're." Your dad, your brother's in the fund space. You have a lot of people in the, like, I wonder if we could pull these people together. And so, I remember at that event, me and Mason, it was like this huge audacious goal at the time. We said, we're like, we are going to make $1 million doing things online. We didn't even know what to quantify. It was like, we're going to do something on the internet that will make us over $1 million. That's our big goal. And like, okay, we're going to figure it out somehow. And so, we started to, I was like, if I can use a computer, If I can just use this device and click the right buttons on these devices, maybe $1 million will come into my bank account. Isn't that kind of a weird thought? You can click the right buttons on a device and $1 million could come to you. And so, I was like, crap, I'm going to do— like, we want to do this. And so, me and Mason spent the next year trying to figure out how we could do this. And maybe it was in the fund space, maybe it was the real estate space. Like, what could we do to make this kind of work? About 8 months later. So at the time I was in college, I got an internship to go work in Silicon Valley. And by the way, welcome in, you guys, uh, to comment tickets in the chat. If you guys are there, we have $300 off Funnel Launch Live tickets. So comment tickets. Welcome in. Uh, comment where you're calling in from as well. I'd love to hear where people are at. We got people in Australia and Saskatchewan and, uh, New Jersey. So if you guys just joined, comment where you're calling in from. We are, we are actually live. So I'd love to hear from y'all. We're live on a bunch of different platforms as well. So I'm getting people from all over the place. We're in Utah. Right now, that's where I'm calling in from. So, oh yeah, here you go. So, let me— so, we go to this event, we're going to make $1 million online. The next 6 months, I'm in school. At the time, I'm at Brigham Young University. I get an internship and I actually go out to Silicon Valley. So, I fly to Silicon Valley. I'm there and I'm working at a huge company right across the street from Google and Facebook. I mean, I am in the heart of Silicon Valley. I'm doing finance out there for them. So, I'm going finance. And I'm walking through this and the, uh, I had this epiphany. It was very interesting. I'm at this and I was thinking back to my previous events and me and Mason had had kind of some failures, to be honest. We'd failed on a couple of business ideas that didn't really work out, but I was still running my fund. My fund was doing well. So I was running my fund. I was doing finance at this big firm in Silicon Valley and we were working, you know, long hours. I'm at this internship. My boss who's there, I'm watching him and he was an incredible boss. He worked 70 hours a week, 80 hours a week. I mean, he worked a lot. He was there before I was. He was there after I was. I mean, and I was just an intern, but he, I mean, he worked his guts out. And I estimated he, you know, was making somewhere around $400,000 to $500,000 a year, something like that, maybe $600,000 a year, which is good money. Nothing wrong with that. And it was funny, I went to the end of this internship and they gave me a job offer to come work for them next year. It was a 6-figure job offer. I had a signing bonus, like the whole thing to come work in Silicon Valley out of school. And I was like, wow, this is impressive. And for whatever reason, I was sitting there, I was like, huh, this is like my dream job, working finance in Silicon Valley, working through school for this whole thing. And I had this crazy moment. And I think I thought back to that previous event, like, man, I just feel like if I spent the next decade, a lot of us think in terms of like what I can accomplish next year. Or like in 6 months, if I can, but I started to expand my thinking. If I could, what I could do in the next decade, could over the next decade, if I worked 80 hours a week on my own business, on my own fund, could I make more than my boss who was making $500,000 a year? And for whatever reason, this thing inside of me was like, I totally think you could. And I mean, currently I was already making 6 figures a year running my fund. So I was like, well, I'm already doing it with my fund part-time. Could I do it if we went after some other businesses? And, uh, it was a lot of prayer. I'm a God-fearing person. I remember praying about this and I felt like I should turn down the job offer. And actually, I felt like I should turn down— I got opted into my— this top finance program at my school. I felt like I should turn that down as well. So I turned that down and I felt like the third thing I was told in this, I was kind of fasting in prayer, was you should start to figure out how you can do this fund education business online. And I was like, okay, like if God speaks, I'm gonna listen. And so this is in 2019, end of 2019, me and Mason said, let's figure out how we can do this. And we thought back to that previous event we'd been to and we said, okay, we gotta figure out how to make $1 million on the internet with computers or whatever, right? And so we started like, let's start a podcast. And again, I had no following. I was like, let's start a little Instagram account and start a little podcast and just see what happens. We started posting, we started doing content. We then attended another event that same time and the guy on stage was like, just start posting, just start the wheels in motion. Too many of us, wait. And we wait and wait and wait for this perfect moment to happen. He's like, just start. So, I started going live on Instagram, I started posting, I started doing other stuff. We did that. And then we said, hey, I wonder if people would join this thing called— at the time it was called Investment Fund Secrets. We put together this little mini course. To save the whole story, we launched this little course. We did $80,000 in revenue in our first month, which is insane. Okay? We had over— in the first 2 months, we had over 1,000 people buy one of our products for what was called at the time a mini course on funds, on investment And we're like, wow, the market wants this thing. And then what we did was like, hey, what if we did something bigger? And so, we went out, I interviewed, I tried to pull together as many amazing fund managers as I possibly could. And we found incredible people. I had multiple fund managers that managed hundreds of millions of dollars and billions of dollars. We pulled them together into this, what we called a mastermind or academy program. And I interviewed them. I pulled in all their data. One guy was really good at real estate investing. One guy was really good at venture capital. We pulled this thing together. Wow. And we launched what we called our Academy or Mastermind program. This is 2 weeks before COVID kicked off in 2020. Okay? So, 2 weeks before COVID kicked off, exactly 1 year after we had gone to that event where we had set that idea, we're going to make $1 million in sales. We went and, well, 1 week before we went to another huge event in Nashville, Tennessee, again, massive. And I remember at that event, I was like, okay, I spent the last year prepping. Like, I am going to do this. Like, I am going to launch. Like, we are doing this. And those 3 days of that event, like compressed time for me. I said, like, we need to go. And so, we launched, we did $144,000 in 3 days. We then kept doing webinars over the next 6 months. We did over $1 million in 6 months. We did $2.5 million over the next 12 months. The next year, we did $4.5 million. The next year, we did $9-point-something million and beyond, all because me and Mason went to one event. And it shifted our focus and pushed us to go further and faster. Now, why am I telling you that story? Events changed my life, absolutely altered the direction of my life. If that, if I didn't attend that one event in Nashville, Tennessee years ago, I would probably be working in Silicon Valley right now, making a nice income, getting, trying to get my bonus at the end of the year. And none of this would ever happen. These 70,000 students we've impacted. in the Fund Launch community would've never happened. The 210 funds we've launched out of Black Card the last 2 years launched would've never happened. The 15 funds that have got over $100 million in their fund would've never happened. The 54 funds over $10 million would've never happened. Um, it actually makes me, I don't know, almost emotional thinking about like the direction. I remember, I think back to that prayer in 2019, like where I feel like God intervened in my life and told me to like do this. And go out. We then kept growing, and the next year we said, I just felt like an event changed my life. Anybody else? Give me like an, give me an amen in the chat if an event or something like this has changed your life. Maybe I'm the only one, but give me an amen in the chat if, uh, if that's you. We then said, there's no events for people that are doing investment funds. Crazy people like me and you, you know, we just sit in a little, our office and we type by ourselves. And like you tell your aunt or your brother-in-law you're doing a fund and people don't know what you're talking about. Hey, I'm going to syndicate money. We're going to go buy buildings. We're going to go buy this huge— like, we're going to scale my investment portfolio. We're going to scale our businesses. People like don't get it. They're like, yeah, sure, buddy. Like, good luck. And we were like, what if we threw an event where we gather together all these crazy— the crazy 1%, as we like to call them, the crazy 1% of people like me and you that are crazy enough to say we can go launch a fund and we can go and play in this game on Wall Street. If we can get those people together, maybe we can have some synergies, maybe we can do deals together, help one another, etc. So, we threw the first Fund Launch Live in 20— what is that? 2022 in Las Vegas. And we thought maybe 300 people would come, maybe 400, maybe 1,000 if we're really good. Like, that would be crazy. We had 1,200 people come to that event. I mean, we were overflowed. The fire marshal was like, you can't put more chairs in here. It is maxed out. And we're like, holy crap, people want this. We then doubled down the next year. We went to Miami. This is last year, 2023. We had 2,000 people come to Miami. We had Jim Rogers, Ed Mylett. It was amazing. I can show you the video in a second. Unreal what we did there. And then we said, this year, let's go even further. We're going to Orlando, Florida this year, 2,000 people again in Orlando, and it's one month away. This is a very unique, specific event for people that want to go out and scale and launch Their own investment fund. And now for today's call, like, and I'm sorry, I told you that was kind of a long story, but I wanted to, and I love the people that amens in the chat. Thank you guys. This is, events have totally changed my life because there's something about, I don't know, like with me, like I haven't, we all of us have ideas and we're all smart and we're all doing stuff. But when you go to a place, you have to travel somewhere. You are in a room, you're locked in, and you're, all you're thinking about for 2 or 3 or 4 days is just that topic. Yeah. And you get to be all in and your brain, when you're going to sleep at night, you're writing down notes and you're thinking through stuff. What happens is what normally would have taken me 6 months or 8 months to put together, you figure out in 2 or 3 days. It compresses years or even decades down to a few days. That's why I'm such a big believer in immersion. We could do live calls like this all the time. We could do a live call, but for whatever reason right now, I know you're probably distracted. I go to the, I go to the bank. I got to get my kids from school. I got to do something else. When you get to separate from the world and go to an event and be immersed in something, something changes with, I don't know, the way you think about a certain topic or idea. Now, chances are if you're on this webinar right now, you're listening, you have some type of interest in investment funds or the investment fund space. Um, and so, and I'm gonna actually share my screen here. Let's see if this works. Um, that's why we wanted to throw something like Fund Launch Live. Now you can see our, our website here. Over 3 days. We are 30 days out from Funnel Launch Live. That's why we wanted to put this thing together and to shamelessly plug the event. If you guys want to come, comment tickets in the chat. My team will DM you a link to come to funnellaunchlive.com and you get $300 off tickets as we are raising tickets prices until the event. So, you can grab here. We have sold out the previous 2 events as well. We are less than 30 days away and we are all here. So, I'm going to play this video real quick. And we'll see if this— let me try one more time here. I'm gonna do this. Let's do this. Here we go. Okay, I'm gonna share. Make sure you guys can hear the audio. Here we go. You could— I went from 30 companies to over 80 companies. We exited that fund at $1.27 billion. Don't try to predict the future. Try to run probabilities. The path has been laid before you, and now the decision is on you. We gotta start thinking bigger. You get a little momentum in your life when you start competing, and all of a sudden momentum makes average ordinary people superhuman. All right, there you have it. So, oh, let me get that echo away. So Fund Launch Live, um, it's like, gives me chills watching that video because it's just, it's the only event of its type. It's the only event where you can come together with hundreds and thousands of other fund managers. In one spot for 3 days to be like fully immersed. Um, I'll scroll down here about Fund Launch Live. We've got an incredible lineup of speakers. Now, this event is not like other conferences where you just hear boring keynotes. We're actually designing this event to step you through the process of building and launching your very own fund. So day 1, we all go through the fund core, and actually it's very— every speaker is handpicked by me. We talk to them, we train them back, like to actually give you deliverable nuggets For you, this is not a pitch fest. You do not they no speaker is allowed to pitch on stage. They come and they are just they are there to give value and give real actionable nuggets for you in a specific category, specific niche for you to go and launch your fund. So we very design this in a very simple way. So day one, we talk about the fund core. Day two, we go into different asset classes with different things. We also talk about fundraising. So how to raise capital, how to approach, how to close. We have incredible speakers like Oren Klaff, one of the best fundraising capital raisers in the world. Coming speaking on day two, and then day three raising and scaling. We have people like I'll actually scroll down to here Steve Eisman coming to speak from the Big Short talking about what his predictions are right now. We have people like Peter Zeihan, one of my favorite macro economists in the world, talking about what's happening with China, the Ukraine war, Israel, all the international geopolitical things happening right now. Neil Bawa talking about cap raising. Ben Hardy ten x either than two x. Cody Sanchez coming to talk about buying up small businesses like buying up laundromats, buying up vending machines. simple, boring businesses that can do extremely well, buying up car washes. These are things that me and you, space that we can get into. If you bolt on a fund, you can do this. We have people that have gone like Andrew Smith. He went and found, he's got an incredible company, 3 quarters of a billion dollars AUM in their Savory Fund. He's actually a local friend of mine. What they do is they go find, you know, those, like, if you've ever been to a small town and there's that really good place that makes like, pies or pizza or some, you know, Thai food or whatever it is. What they do is they find that small town little grill or shop and they turn it into a nationwide brand. So they found, I don't know, it depends on what part of the country you're in, but things like Crack Shack, Mobetta's, Swig. He found all those things when they were like one location, two locations, and he's now turned them into hundreds of locations across the country. That's all their fund does. I go on and on about all the speakers on here. It's a pretty stacked lineup. Um, but again, that's why we wanted to, to throw an event like this, to give to our audience. We have spent, uh, roughly $1 million in this event already. Okay. Um, this is not cheap to throw. We put a lot of money down to do this. So now what I want to talk about for a second is how to get the most out of events. Does that sound good for the next few minutes? So when I attend an event and go to an event, how to get the most out of it, how I think this could greatly benefit your life. So number one, I just brought that up. What happens is, and maybe I'll share my screen. Can you, um, can you have my screen here? Let's do this. Boom. Okay, let me know if you guys can see that. Okay, so at an event, what happens is, um, you guys can see my iPad? Yeah. Okay, so at an event, I think they can see it. Can you just double check? Okay. Oh, there we go. I can see it now. Okay, so By the way, we're going through the full Funnel Launch Formula at the event. We've got this all like master planned out. All the speakers are talking about little different pieces of each one of these things on the Funnel Launch Formula, like all 3, which is pretty cool. Okay, we've really like master planned this entire event. So I'm going to zoom in on raising capital. Okay, there's 3 distinct stages of raising capital. We're going to talk about this day 2 and go in depth on— we have a speaker talking about that part, speaker talking about this part, and speaker talking about this part. But I'm going to zoom in right down here, just getting in the room. How do you get around people that have There's 2 ways to get into rooms. You can work your way in or buy your way into rooms. Some of you guys, if you listen to my content before, you've seen this in the past. So, this is kind of review. One of the biggest things here though is events. Events are an incredible way to get in the room with people who are wealthy. They've already been conglomerated. They've already been assembled. You don't need to reinvent the wheel. There's already rooms that have been put together with the people that you want to network and be with. It could be, you know, Davos, where they have all the billionaires come together. That's a pretty good room to be in. Whether you love Davos or hate Davos, think they're taking over the world, that's a decent room to be in, right? They've already assembled the groups. Billionaires, guess who they hang out with? Other billionaires. People that run businesses, guess who they hang out with? Other people that run businesses. Athletes, NFL players. I'm going to an event next Saturday. All the NFL players in my kind of region of the country are all getting together. There's about 100 of them. to talk investments and business. We're invited to go and talk and meet with them because they like to get together. Birds of a feather flock together. Okay, so events are massive. Now, there's 2 ways to do an event. With events, I personally, I've seen events have been one of the best ways for me to raise money, meet partners across the board. They could be big events or small events. It could be a small poker night or a multi-thousand-person event. But events are massive. When you get people together, it just shortens the gap. For everything. Now, there's 2 different types of events, um, that we— you can do. You can either— you can host an event or you can attend an event, right? Now, there's benefits to both. If you host an event, as being the host, like for me, there's a lot of status by being the host of an event. When you go to, like, think back to, uh, the example I love is like, remember in like 7th grade? I don't know why these are so thick. Let's see if we can get it less here. 7th grade, And there was like a party. Remember going to your— maybe remember going to your first like boy-girl party with like different schools and stuff? Do you guys remember this? I like distinctly remember. I can't remember if it was like 6th grade or 5th grade, somewhere in there, 7th grade, somewhere in that range. I remember going like, there's different schools coming. Like, whoa, I feel like I'm growing up. I was like, I don't know, 11 years old, 12 years old, something like that. And it's the party's at Sarah's house. And oh, hey, we're going to Sarah's house on Friday. Oh yeah. Oh, we go. Oh, it's at Sarah's house. We show up to Sarah's house and guess who? Everyone knows that the party, or at least talks about, is Sarah. There's a lot of benefit in hosting events because you as the host, even if people don't know you, they will get to know you, right? Just by being the host of this event. Um, now on the other side, you can attend events. And now being a host, I'll say the downside is Sarah has to clean up after, get her parents to approve it. They got to pay a bunch of money. There's tons of stuff that happen when you host an event. The other side is you can leverage other people's events and just attend their events. So instead of paying all the money that Sarah paid, whatever, or for our example with Funnel Launch Live, you know, we'll spend over $1 million on this event to host. And I get some benefits from hosting for sure. But what happens is we spend $1 million hosting Funnel Launch Live and you get to just buy a ticket for a couple hundred bucks and you get pretty much the same benefits that I get from hosting. We've assembled, we run the ads, we do all the stuff to get people to come. We get the great speakers and all the people there for $1 million, and you get to spend a couple hundred bucks and you get to attend and be in that same room. Kind of cool, kind of a hack. And this is why personally I, I like hosting events and I also like attending events because I get the benefits of both. Now, when I— is this making sense so far? Give me like a yes in the chat if this is making sense. Give me like a— I just need a little bit of feedback. Make sure you guys are alive here. Okay? Give me a little bit of something. Is that making sense? Okay. So, you can attend and kind of get those benefits from there. Cool. I love it. Thanks for the yeses, you guys. Keep me awake. So, when I think about attending events, a couple of things that I do, at least, I'm just going to give you my quick and dirty rundown of what I do when I attend an event. Number 1, I try to show up early. Now, I know people are like, I'm going to go fashionably late, whatever. If you want to get the most out of an event, show up early and actually see if you can even help. Hey, Sarah, can I help set up chairs beforehand? Can I help set up the balloons? Because what happens is once the party starts, Sarah is going to remember you. And hey, Sarah, who's the best people I should meet over the next couple hours while they're— oh yeah, you got to meet Joe over here, Tom, or whoever the person is. Sarah, the person hosting the event, is connected to most people in the room. So if you come early, you can help set things up, organize things, meet people, and oftentimes the host will maybe even help you make introductions. So I love to show up early. Okay. Number 2, um, what I've actually done, this is actually, you can, some people can, uh, can disagree, but I actually, I think if you are up That helps when you're early. Depending on the event, if you can sit up front, if there's a, you know, let's say a gathering of 200 people and you sit on the front row, what happens is the— because the stage has that like spotlight on the stage, but you're near the stage and you share some of the spotlight with the stage. Have you guys ever seen like a— another example is like a UFC fight. You ever watched a UFC fight or a boxing fight online? We got, what is it like Mike Tyson and who is it like, uh, the one of the Paul brothers fighting this, this summer? That should be a crazy fight. Okay. What happens is they have the UFC fight. That's where the spotlight is. But you also can see the celebrities that are sitting around the ring, right? And they put 'em on camera. They're, they're right there cuz they're up front. They get to share some of the spotlight when they're up front at a fight or maybe it's courtside seats at the NBA All-Star Game, right? You get to share a part of the, uh, the overall message of what's happening, the overall spotlight. Is this making sense? Okay. So that's number one. I show up early. I set up front. Now I come. The third thing I always do: come with something you can give. Come with something you can give. Now this could be an actual physical gift or knowledge or an opportunity. So now there's going to be breaks. There's always breaks to network and meet people. Okay, during that time period, I'm going to try to give as much as I can. What I found, at least for me, is the more I give, the more I get in return. If you show up to an event and you're trying to get things, people see through that and they're done with you. If you show up and you try to give, it's massive. One thing I love to do is I have a podcast. So, if I have somebody that I like and I meet, hey, man, Eli, it was so fun to meet you. Oh, it was great. Hey, you know, I actually have a podcast. We have thousands of listeners around the world. I'd love to have you on my show. Can we set up a time? Oh, that sounds great. I'm giving some of my audience to them, right? I have a podcast I can introduce them to. Oh hey, I always get—I'm always getting good deals. Good real. Do you like to look at good real estate deals? I'd love to send some your way. Let me get your email and I'll—I'll give you some good real estate deals, right? Oh, I have a good connection for you. I have a guy that lives by me. He loves investing in your asset class. Let me connect you guys. What happens is you turn into a giver at these events, and people want to know and get to know you, and it builds rapport with the people you're talking to. Okay, so three. This is kind of my quick and dirty list. When I go to an event, I try to show up early. I try to sit up front or be near the speakers or meet the people that are on stage or be a part of the host, etc., be in like kind of like the UFC. And then I try to give as much as possible. And by default, when I give, I tend to get a lot back in return. And I've— people maybe can attest in the chat, when you go and you try to be a taker, people see through that quickly and you end up getting nothing. Kind of this, I don't know, law of life is the more you give, the more you get back in return. Okay. So, 3 things again. Number 1, show up early. 2, sit up front. 3, give. Okay? Now, you can go back to full screen for me. Okay. Is that making sense? Yeah? And I can go through, I'll go through a little bit more in a second, but I want to give you a quick and dirty list of hosting versus attending events, et cetera. And again, how events have changed my life going forward. So, again, if you guys haven't already, comment tickets down below. We have $300 off. For Funnel Launch Live tickets, meaning the tickets are just going to go up in value closer to the event. So you can come to funnellaunchlive.com. Well, if you comment tickets, we can drop you a link no matter what platform you're on. You can come here. We are 30 days out to go to Orlando, Florida. Um, this is gonna be the biggest, baddest Funnel Launch Live we've ever thrown. Um, it's pretty cool. We've got an incredible speaker lineup here you guys have seen. And again, it's very organized event. We are, um, each day we go through and we are, we're building the the blocks to go out and launch your fund. We got Oren Klaff, John Paynton, Todd Buchholz, Cody Sanchez, Peter Zeihan, Ben Hardy, Neil Bower. You can go through the list of down and down of incredible people speaking. Again, every night we have full networking, like organized networking sessions. One of the nights we have roundtables, so all the speakers will host a roundtable and you can just walk around and meet all the speakers and coaches and people in the group, all the people that have $100 million funds. You can come and meet and talk to them. Okay, that's one of the nights. The other night we have a full dedicated networking session as well. So you guys get access to all that kind of stuff when you come to the event. Additionally, if you want to get more access, you can buy VIP tickets. We only have, I don't know, it's like a dozen or so left. We are pretty tight on VIP tickets, but you can apply for VIP tickets as well. And you can be in the— we have a special lunch we're doing, a private room just for VIP if you want to get in there as well. Okay, I'm going to share another story on this as well. So, I know I shared the story of my first events I went to. And by the way, do you guys see my nose right here? You guys can see close, or where is it? Right here. See those 2 marks? That is from my son scratching me 2 days ago. He was mad. I was picking him up. We're going to bedtime and he's always swiping. We're trying to not get him to swipe or bite, but he's swiping his claws. I blocked the first one. I blocked the second one, but he came around with a third and just went and just, it was just quick. It was like that and just put 2 nice— I was bleeding actually right there. So It's not acne. It's literally from a 2-year-old child that is— Jonah's amazing. He's awesome. But sometimes, man, he gets in a bad mood and the claws come out. So, speaking of family, how many of you in the chat— give me— type a 1 in the chat if this is you. And let's just— we'll be honest here, but it's sometimes maybe you're dedicated to this thing. You're like, you know what? I'm all in. I love doing this. I got the mentality. You're listening to the thing, whatever it is. But it's hard to get your spouse or family members or business partners on the same page as you. If anybody else has felt that before, type a 1 in the chat. Okay? Give me a 1 in the chat if that's you. That is, I think it's all things in life, but it's sometimes we, we are the crazy entrepreneur. We're like, okay, we're gonna be billionaires. Like, honey, like anybody ever said this, honey, give me 18 months. Just 18 months. That's all I need. I'm gonna go all out, and once after 18 months, then we'll be set. Anybody ever said that before? Give me a one in the chat if you said that before. I've said that before. Okay. I think this is common for us crazy entrepreneurs to say stuff like this, and we're well-intended. We're high-energy people. We go out. We like take over the world. That's who we are. And my wife is incredible human. Her name's Lauren. She's amazing person, and she. So she's, uh, you know, there and I'm talking about my fun and we'd already had some decent success. And I, I remember I was like, honey, I wanna do this like thing with Funnel Launch. We're gonna like be online, we're gonna be on social media, like all this cool stuff. And, uh, I remember her, she was like not very sold, right? And she's like, uh, okay, sure. I've heard this before. And what happened was, so I remember I told you that in 2019, 2019, I went to that first event out to Nashville by myself. The next, and I came with Mason, excuse me. So me and Mason were on the same page. The next year, 2020, this is February of 2020, right before COVID we flew out to Nashville and I brought my wife with me. I paid for it. It was like $1,500. I had to fly her out, get her a hotel, get her a ticket. It was a decent amount of money, but she came. It was the best money I had ever spent. My wife came. She was with me and Mason. I think it was just me, Mason, my wife, and we all shared a room together actually. So, it was me and my wife slept in the same bed and Mason slept in the other bed. Because we were dirt poor. And actually, funny enough, one night, as a side note, we're in this dinky hotel because we were just scrapping by. So, me and my wife are in one bed and my business partner's in the other bed. In the middle of the night, my partner Mason stands up and he's yelling. And I pop out. I'm like, whoa, what's going on? And he's like, oh, he's like, he's like, Bridger, help, help, help. I'm like, whoa, what's going on? I pop out of bed. I run over there. I'm in my underwear. And his shoulder had popped out of joint, like legit. He had a bad shoulder. He had hurt it playing basketball. It literally popped out of socket. And he's like, Bridger, put it— it's 2 in the morning. He's like, put it back into place. And I'm like, okay, what do I do? And he's like, hold my arm. And I popped his shoulder back into place at 2 in the morning because we were all sharing. And my wife is like, what's going on? And we're all— anyways, this is 2020. We're in Nashville at this event. And sorry, tangent squirrel side note. So, we go to this event. It was the best money I'd ever spent. bringing my wife to this event because she came for 4 days and sat in the session with us, saw me and Mason planning and taking notes, and she caught the vision of what we were doing. She caught the vision of, wow, I see where this could lead and go. And it sold her on the idea and trust of me and Mason launching this crazy business called Funnel Launch. And then I told you the story earlier, but, you know, 6 months later, we, we started our podcast, we started our thing. Uh, that a year later, or sorry, that was, sorry, excuse me. 2 weeks later, we had launched that first webinar. We did $144,000 and then we did $1 million over the next month. And my wife was so supportive. She was like all in. She was all in on me dropping out of school or not taking that scholar, that huge job in Silicon Valley. Cause she's like, I see the vision. When we were throwing our first Funnel Launch Live, she's like, I get the vision. I'm right on board. I'm right on your team. My wife's an incredible, she's, you know, the best business partner ever is my wife. Because I got her on board with what I was doing. And I tell you that story for all you people that dropped a 1 in the chat. Maybe you're all in, you're sold, you're here, but you might need to get your spouse or partner on board. You might need to get that business partner that's kind of the skeptical one to come on board and be bought in and get the vision of where you're going. And I promise you, Funnel Launch Live, we hype things up. We have music, we're loud, we have a great MC, we have, We do it. We, we, it's a lot about launching your fund. We put a lot of motivation and belief in there. Like, I, my goal is at the end of the 3 days, you're feeling on fire. You're electric. You're like, this is like, this is it. Like, I'm doing this and I'm with all these other crazy entrepreneurs. Like, we're doing this together. We're taking over the world. That's the feeling I want to leave you with at the end of day 3. And so, if you can come and I'll say, bring a spouse, bring a business partner, buy the ticket for them. They might say, I'm not coming to that stuff. Say, hey, I already bought you a ticket. That's what I did to my wife. Ticket's already purchased. You're in. You're coming. Whether you're like, hey, and we're going to Orlando. We can go to Disneyland the day before or whatever. Come on. Like, it's going to be fun. And they'll be fine. I'll come to this event, whatever, the skeptic people. And what happens is, I promise you, over 3 days, it will transform and change their brain about fund, fundraising, syndications, this whole thing we're doing. Okay? So, I would highly recommend bringing someone like that. This event. I'll even tell you this much. Last year, so we already have a successful bit. We've done, what, $20 million in sales already through Funnel Launch. We paid, I believe it was 6 of our team members. We had a video guy, our marketing person, our finance person. We flew them out to a different— it was one of the— this online marketing event in, was it Florida? Something like that. We spent, I don't know, $10,000 to $12,000 flying them out for 4 days. Just so that they could catch the same vision of what we were doing at Funnel Launch. And what happened was after those 4 days, they came home and like, we had a meeting after, like, holy crap, we gotta do this and this and this and this. It transformed our business and it made us way more than the $12,000 we paid. I think of things like investments. This is an investment for what we were doing. This is an investment in the future of our business. And it catapulted us into a full nother sector and stuff that we've done with Funnel Launch, et cetera. It is massive to have your team out there. I'll tell you another anecdotal story. Is this helpful, by the way? We had a team last year come out. They had done a few syndications. They do in venture capital. The main dude, one, a friend of mine, flew out. He brought his business partner and they brought their intern out, okay, to Funnel Launch Live. They spent, I don't know, a couple thousand bucks on hotels, flights, et cetera. They come out to Funnel Launch Live in Miami last year. They, they're, they, he, he would tell me the whole, he's texting me the whole time. He's like, dude, this event's crazy. Like, it's totally changed our mindset, blah, blah, blah. They leave the event, they're like on fire, like we're launching a fund. They go out, they structure all the stuff. They just launched their fund. They've now raised, I don't know how many millions they've raised so far. Their intern they brought found them a deal the next month because he was so excited about it, went and found a new pharmaceutical deal. And they're telling me, nothing's published yet, but they did like a 50x on that. They invested about $1 million in that business. They've done a 50x on that deal because they brought their intern out. Their intern was so excited, found them a great deal. Pulled it in. They, they felt confident raising the money, and in a year they've done about a 50x. Um, and they're coming to this year's Fund Launch Live as well, which is pretty cool. And they're launching their venture capital fund. They're raising, I can't remember, it's $25 or $50 million. And we actually just partnered with them in Fund Launch Partners. We wrote them a check and became partners with them from our GP Stakes Fund. How cool is that? Okay. From one year ago, nothing, to now they, we've partnered with them in GP Stakes. We've given them a huge check. They're raising millions of dollars. They got already a 50x in their business. Like, it's crazy what can happen when you get your team all swimming and rowing in the same direction. It's pretty incredible what can happen. Um, okay, so again, if you guys want to come to Fund Launch Live, comment tickets down below. Uh, we'd love to have you guys there, or you can go to fundlaunchlive.com. Here's the link. You can come watch that fun video. This thing's— it's pretty inspiring video, actually. This video is cool. Ed Mylett last year was awesome. Um, we got some great speakers again this year. It's gonna be pretty fun. So Come right here. You click to the top, you click reserve tickets, should open this up, and you can come put your name and email and phone number. You just walk through the process. Again, we are, I mean, we are crunch time though. It is 30 days out. Tickets are selling out fast. We've sold out the last 2 years. So, if you are on the fence, I mean, it is crunch time. You got to get a, you know, come through. Now, we have a room block for our hotel right here. So, if you want to book rooms, you can come here, book rooms. We actually get discounted tickets at the Grand, the World of Hyatt, Hyatt Regency Orlando. You can come get the tickets here. You can get a room right here, and it has all the discount codes apply, everything. Additionally, flights are really cheap to Orlando, depending on which city you're coming from. But flights are still very cheap to Orlando, depending on where you're coming from. They usually have cheap flights just because Disneyland's there and Universal Studios. Flights are generally very cheap to Orlando, and there's a lot of direct flights. So, it's pretty easy to get to, depending on where you're calling in from or where you're flying in from. It's pretty awesome, but I would highly recommend bringing your family, bringing your friends, being people that want to be on the same page as you with what the crazy things that you're doing. That's one of the biggest pieces of this whole thing. So, okay. 30 days out, go to funlifealive.com. You guys can grab tickets there. Um, all right, let's take questions for the next few minutes. I'll stay on and then, uh, we'll get running. Um, oh, actually, sorry, I didn't finish this up. So back to my iPad, maybe share my iPad for one second. This might answer some of the questions I got. So, with the 3, there we go. 3 stages of raising capital. Um, so again, we talked about attending, working your way in or buying your way in, attending events, events that you can host, events that you can attend. Again, we've already spent the money, $1 million on this event to throw it. You can come and leverage all that money and time and effort we put together for a couple hundred bucks. I mean, it's pretty cool to leverage that in an event. Now, 3 things that I always do at an event, I try to show up early. To meet some of the people that are hosting or putting things together because they will connect me to the best and brightest people in the room. Number 2, I'm going to sit up front. I'm going to try to be early to the session, sit up front and get like kind of like the UFC or sitting courtside, uh, getting up front and getting those seats that are close to the front because it shares the spotlight with me. And number 3, I'm gonna try to give as much as I can. So I'm gonna bring ideas or topics or things that I can give to the other members that I'm going to meet at this event, um, from here. So again, events are massive for building out your list to get in the room. I'm going to clean this up a little bit. So again, you can host or attend events. This is why, again, last week me and Lincoln flew out to Miami. We attended the Greenwich Economic Forum. We paid, we had, we paid, I think it was a lot of money. I think we paid something like $15,000 to go. I mean, it's not cheap. I'll pay. I pay money to go to events. Why? Because they've already assembled an incredible room of capital allocators that manage billions and tens of billions, and some of them even hundreds of billions of dollars they manage. Yeah, I want to be in that room. I'll pay. I'll pay whatever. I want to be in that room. I will pay to play right here. Pay-to-play networking. I'm all about that. Funnel Launch Live is a relatively cheap price for something like this. I mean, we paid last year, it was $150,000. We joined a mastermind with it. So, it was a mastermind and we did 4 events a year. That was it. Okay? But guess what? Everyone else there also paid $150,000 to be in that spot, to be in that room. It's a pretty good room to be in. They've already assembled this room. I'll pay a relatively cheap price to be in that room with people to raise money from, et cetera. And today, people are man Bridger, how did man how did you guys go out? We we manage a $25 million hedge fund right now. That's all equity, by the way. No debt on that. It's $25 million of equity raised. How'd you go raise $25 million in your twenties, Bridger? How'd you do that? Well, I put in the work. I think and maybe I got lucky. Maybe something else happened. But I've attended events for years. I've paid prices like 150 grand. I paid 15 thousand for that. I paid $35,000 for another event. I paid $30,000 for another event, another mastermind group. I love pay-to-play networking. I love getting in the right rooms, bringing out people and compressing time. If I can compress years or decades down to days and shorten my gap to do this, maybe that's been some of the reason why we, we, you know, have been moderately successful in our $25 million hedge fund. It's my third fund we've ran. Fund launch as a business has done over $25 million in revenue. In just under, is it something like 4 years or 5, 4 years, something like that? 4 and a half years. I don't think that just happens by chance. I'm, I'm, you know, we've, we've hung out with Alex Hormozi a number of times. You know, Alex, if you guys have seen Alex Hormozi online, we, we actually talked to them in depth. We, they were trying to make us an offer for, uh, uh, acquisition.com for Funnel Launch a couple years ago. So we were, we were very in talks in depth. We were on Zoom calls with Alex a bunch. We ended up not doing a deal with them. No hard feelings, but just, it just didn't work out. You can go back to full screen if you want. But, um, with Alex, you know, why has Alex Hormozi been so successful? And he's what, 32, 33 years old? Is he just smarter than other people? What did he do? He compressed time. He compressed things down. And actually, I know his whole story. He joined Russell Brunson's group with Category Kings. You know, he launched his gyms. They slowly— and he just found smarter and better mentors, got in the right rooms and pulled things together. It's not that crazy. Um, How do these young people that just don't, you know, not young or old, whatever, how do they do this? I believe one of the biggest hacks, I guess, of life is to compress time and events is the way you do that. What Tony Robbins always says, you compress decades down to days. That's what we're trying to do with Funnel Launch Live. Okay, let's take a couple of questions here. Cool. People are working. Yeah, funlaunchlive.com. We're dropping links in the chat. You guys can grab those or comment tickets. We'll give you a link as well. But funlaunchlive.com is the spot to go. Um, let's, uh, let's answer a few questions. We're on YouTube here, so I've— we have YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Zoom. So we've got a couple spots. Maybe if you guys can pull up some of the questions on Restream, I can see some of those if you, if you can in that chat. Um, if you find a good one, just yell it out for me. I can't see it there, it's too small for me. I can read, I can read the ones on my screen too, so we'll look at a couple ones here. Is there an average that a fund of funds usually give to a hedge fund with robust algorithms just starting off? So yeah, we're at the Greenwich Economic Forum. It was funny last week. So talking about fund-to-funds, what's their average ticket size? Who do they invest into? Every fund is different. Most of the funds we talked to, at least last week, were like, hey, yeah, minimum check size is $35 million. Minimum check size is $50 million. And so if you can't— and we want to be less than 10% of your fund. So if minimum check size is $50 million and we want to be less than 10%, that's— you need to be running a $500 million fund for us to invest into. A lot of these big institutions, that's what they're going for. Big fund of funds, that's where they're going for. Minimum check size is relatively large depending on who you're talking to. And so to answer that question, everyone is going to be different, but most of the time when you're talking to a fund of funds, they're usually relatively large and you need to be relatively large to accept money from them. Yeah. Drop your question in the Q&A box. That'll make it easier for me if you're on Zoom. People on YouTube or Instagram, just drop them in the chat and I'll pull them up and we can hopefully, you know, pull them together here. You guys have them. Fun Launch Live. Let's see, maybe just shout out to me. I think you can write. Oh, great. So good question. So question, I think it's from YouTube. What advice would you give to a student that is inspired by funds? Right now. So that's a great question. I would say this, I started my fund as a student. I was 22 years old. I won't share that story today, but you can go look on YouTube or whatever, my other story. I started my fund in college. And what happened for me was this, even if you're just getting started or whatever, anybody ever bought a new car before, you know, got a new car in the chat? What happens is like I drive a Tesla Plaid, a Model S Plaid. It's matte black. I love it. It's an awesome car, super fast. And I bought it. And what happened was like the moment after I bought it, I started seeing Tesla Plaid everywhere. Like, oh, there's one driving down the street. There's one on the freeway. There's not like there's magically more cars. You just pay attention to that thing in your life. I think the same thing is true with funds. Once you start learning about funds, you learn about international feeder funds, you learn about private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate funds, debt funds, crypto funds, forex funds. You learn how they function. General partners, limited partnerships, parallel funds, Cayman Island feeder funds. British Virgin Islands funds. What happens is when you learn all this kind of stuff, you start to see it in your life. You'll read about in the news. You'll start seeing on CNBC. You'll see it in Wall Street Journal. It'll just—I promise you—it'll just—it'll feel like magically appeared. But funds are everywhere. Funds control the world. For me, what happened? I learned about funds, and about six or seven months later, my dad was teaching me about funds. I was working at a company inside of that company. I had an idea we could launch a fund inside of this company. The fund would finance the clients that were coming through. They had a problem. These clients were coming through the company. They needed financing. Like, what if we just did a debt fund? We did a financing opportunity where we could finance these clients. I took it to the owners of the company. They loved the idea. We then formulated our first fund. That's how I got the idea. I learned about it first. I then— it opened my eyes to opportunities where funds could make sense. And then I went and applied. It took me about a— that total time was about a year. Then I went and launched my first fund, and then I launched my second fund, and then my third fund. We're now in our fourth fund. So that's what I would say if someone's getting started is get— that's like, for example, Fund Launch Live gets you in a room to open your eyes, to meet people that are doing stuff way beyond what you've ever thought of. For example, we have people in our group that buy up car washes. They buy up and they conglomerate car washes. They found if they buy, they can buy car washes for like a 5x multiple on EBITDA. And these are subscription-based car washes. But if they conglomerate more than 30 of them, they can sell them for like 17 to 22x EBITDA. So, they get a 3 times increase just by conglomerating them together. Does that make sense? So, if they bought 5 car washes for $5 million, They would, they could turn around and sell it for $5 million. But if they bought 30 car washes, they could buy it. They wouldn't sell it for $30 million. They could sell it for $50 or $60 million because they've conglomerated these car washes together just because there's economies of scale that happen when you conglomerate asset classes. We have other people that buy, get this, they go and find, uh, this is the kind of people you're going to meet at Fund of the South. There's very unique funds. One of them, he found that he, uh, on Hollywood, he would go in Hollywood or whatever, they'd find scriptwriters. People that were writing scripts for miniseries or TV shows. And a lot of these writers are somewhat broke. They're not making tons of money. So they had a fund. They would go buy these scripts for $15,000, $20,000, $30,000. They then would go pitch and present them to Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, and sell the scripts for $100,000, $200,000, $300,000. They would just do arbitrage. That's all they did. Okay, that's an entire fund. We have other people that buy shipping containers out of China. They, uh, for whatever reason, they can find discounts when they buy in bulk. They, they send them to Brazil and they buy these shipping containers, and then they, they, uh, can distribute to— they have good distribution channels. They can distribute these, the goods from these 2 stores, and they mark them up a little bit and they make a spread on what they bought the container for and what they sold them to in these stores. That's all their fund does. Uh, we have people building hotels, people building, I mean, it's, you go, you name it, there are people doing it in this group. And so what happens is if you're just starting out, the first thing I would say you do is just get in the room, get around these people. You're the average of the 5 people you hang out with. I know it's a cliché, dumb old saying, but it's true. Get around people that are doing stuff like this. People that are running $100 million food and beverage funds, people that are running $200 million multifamily funds. People that are running self-storage funds, people that are doing crypto. Like, I run a crypto hedge fund right now. And just learn what they're doing. How are you thinking about the markets? What do you look at? How'd you start? At Funnel Hacks Live, that's what we talk about on stage. And we actually give you the tools to do that. That's what I would say is get in the room, get in the place to be there. That's what we did our first time. I had no business launching a company like Funnel Launch, no business, but I got in the room. I got around other people that were doing businesses like this. And what happened was I was like, oh well, if they did it, I can do it. It built confidence in me. Oh, if they're doing it, that's kind of the tools they use. I bet I could do it. That's where I'd go from. That's where I'd start. I think it's one of the biggest benefits of of everything we're doing. So okay, other questions here. Good questions, y'all. When launching a hedge fund, does it does it does it married to the equities market, or can it branch out into real estate, private equity, etc.? Is it contingent to the PPM? It's a good question. Can a fund do multiple things? Can it buy real estate? Can it buy venture capital? Can it also buy equities? The answer is yes, it can. Okay, so you write the PPM and LPA, you write the Bible. Funds can do whatever you want. That's kind of the fun thing about funds, as long as it's legal. Um, now the better question to ask though is, do you want to do that? That's the better question. That you can do it, but If you're going to launch a fund, for example, if you're pitching me as an investor, hey, I have a hedge— I have a fund that's going to buy equities. We're going to buy Facebook and Google. We're also going to buy real estate and we're also going to buy crypto. And I'm going to be like, okay, I'm the investor. Number one, how do those make sense together? Why would you put those in a basket of goods? Number one.
