Bridger Pennington's uncle graduated top of his class at Harvard Medical School without studying on Sundays. He kept the Sabbath as a day of rest while his peers studied, trusting God would sustain him through the week. The story challenges the idea that constant work is necessary for success.

My mom sat me down one time and she talked me through my uncle who came from just a pretty normal background but ended up going to Harvard. And what she said was he never did homework on Sundays, ever. Now, all of his other classmates would study all day Sunday and work. He took the day off and kept his religious practice. His whole opinion was God will bless me if I don't work on the Sabbath. God will fulfill and help him in other ways throughout the week. And got the top score at Harvard Medical School and never worked on Sundays.
