Hey, hey, welcome back to the channel. I'm Bridger Pennington. Now, some of you may or may not know, but recently we actually had our top students in program, about 150 of our members, fly out to Utah at Snowbird, a beautiful ski resort. Now, we help these students launch and scale their funds. One of the funds has $2.5 billion AUM inside of it. They started from zero with us about 16 months ago. 2 funds that are near or above $100 million, a handful of funds between $20 and $50 million, and I don't know how many funds over $1 million. And we're in crypto, real estate, all the— I mean, every market you can imagine. It was really cool to have these people fly out, to meet with them, to talk one-on-one. So I'm actually gonna show you guys the video right now of the event and do my little reaction. I'll tell you more about the details of what we actually did there. So without further ado, here we go. Okay, first off, it was beautiful. Did you guys see that? It was absolutely insane. It was the fall colors in the mountains. You'll see it in a second. Sorry to stop it right at the beginning, but it was absolutely beautiful. I mean, there wasn't snow yet. It was just like this beautiful— you'll see some more pictures of it. It was awesome. So we're up at this Snowbird Ski Resort. It's tucked away in these hills. You'll see some pictures of it in a second. It's absolutely amazing. There's our team looking good. There's our shoes we give away, boxes, some fun dinners. Here's the room we were in. That's me. Okay, so the first night we actually did a poker— sorry, I'm going to interrupt here. We did a poker tournament the first night, which was so fun. Now, I believe in events. Yeah, you can get some speakers together and everyone sit in a conference and a seminar and listen. But yeah, we can do that on Zoom. You can on YouTube, wherever. When we're in person, why not make some experiences? And I've told people, you can take me to lunch 10 times, or you could take me heliskiing one time. If we go heliskiing once, I will have a better relationship with you after heliskiing one time than going to lunch 10 different times.
Why?
Because we created a memorable experience together. Which I like to call an event horizon. And that's what we tried to make this event, was an event horizon where, an event horizon meaning you remember everything before that moment and everything after that moment, but it was a life-changing pivot inside of your life. That's what we wanted to create. So we decided instead of having speakers on stage and all that kind of stuff, let's create events and experiences around what we're doing. So night 1, we had a poker tournament. We actually flew out this entire poker team. We had like 14 tables. Everyone played for poker. We had fake chips you could buy in. We had prizes and awards for people and all that kind of stuff. It's really fun to, again, create experience around it.
Time to light it up.
Let's go. And actually Lincoln won. That's the— Lincoln, the guy, like I didn't play. I was just helping run it. Lincoln decides to play. There's 150 people. He wins the entire tournament. And I was like, what the freak? Like, he's a coach. You guys have seen him on the channel before. I was like, anyways, he's had a lucky night. He did really, like really never played poker in like a high league, like a tournament style. He crushed it, he did incredible, it was really cool.
Get ready for it, get ready for it.
There's our stage.
Yeah, this is it, go!
So day 2, we had some fun speakers. That was Jason Hartman you just saw. He does a lot of, he has a great show, we've done a podcast with him before. Talks about economics data, all that kind of stuff. But again, we said, hey, enough speakers. Let's go up the mountain. So we hit the mountain, you'll see the fall colors here. Hit the gondola at Snowbird.
Yeah, this is it, go! It was fun.
And we then had Naveen come and speak. It was awesome. We actually, excuse me, before, this is Naveen right here. Before he came out, we had breakout sessions. We had every single, you know, about 10 people each could sit down with a fund manager. We went through one by one every single person's funds, how to improve their fund, how to raise capital, how to find partners, how to build their deck, how to, whatever problems they had, we did a roundtable discussion. People said that was the most valuable piece of this, was them being able to sit down with a fund manager. A lot of them run over $100 million funds.
That's awesome.
They could sit down with that group and talk to these people that run these huge funds. So then Naveen gets up, he's awesome, talks about capital raising. There's Naveen, did a great job. Then we had Sean Whalen come. Anybody know Sean Whalen? Sean Whalen runs Lions Not Sheep. You see it on his hat there, we gave everyone out shirts and stuff. He's an awesome speaker, more of a, not really a fund speaker, more of a motivational and really gets to the core, makes you laugh, makes you cry. He's an incredible dude. A friend of mine, and we had him come out, and it was really fun to have him speak. But then we said, let's do something else here. So this right here, you're about to see, we threw a Cars and Coin event. If you guys have seen my Instagram, we've thrown 3 of these now, where all we do is we say, hey, people of Salt Lake City, Utah, let's get together a bunch of cool supercars, and let's get people together and we'll talk about finance in general. Economics, financial data, all that kind of stuff. So we've done 2 of these before, this is our 3rd one. So we just, out of our personal network, we said, hey, we're gonna invite all these people to come and drive to Snowbird. So we had, you'll see all the cars we had, we had Ferraris, Lambos, McLarens, Bentleys, we had a bunch of cool cars. We had about 300 people show up. We had a couple billionaires show up. I mean, we had people, net worths well over $250 million. I mean, it was a really cool group. The speaker for the event, you'll see him in just a second, His name's Yaye Samake. He's running for president of Mali, the country Mali in Africa. He flew out to the event to speak to the group. We had another guy named Josh Coates. He took a company public for $2.5 billion, sold another company for $75 million. Incredible dude. He came up and talked. He made everyone laugh. It was awesome. Myself spoke and Dan Young. He runs ZyDax. Huge net worth, well over a 9-figure net worth. I mean, he's an incredible dude. Anyways, he came up and spoke as well. You guys will see that for a second. It was a really fun piece as well as our students could meet all these potential investors. That was like the coolest thing is they came in and said, I get to meet all these billionaires and $100 million people that I can sit down with and talk to and maybe raise capital for my fund. And it was pretty awesome. So anyways, you'll see right here.
Take, go ahead and own that stage.
Let's go. There's all the people. We had a really cool group.
Yeah, it's obvious.
There's Dan Young, came up and talked.
Let's go.
We had an awkward handshake. Did you guys see that, by the way? Go back. I gotta go back on here. Do you see that awkward handshake right here? Look at this. I go for like the handshake here, and then he kinda comes in with his left hand. I went for like kinda like the, you know, one of these, like, you know, you grab 'em and kinda one of those, like hug, whatever men, I don't know why men do this, but that's what we do. And I come in for this, I'm like, hey, welcome to the stage, we got everyone up on their feet, I'm like an MC, I'm like, everyone give the energy, we have a beat drop when he comes on, and Dan comes up with this left-handed, look at this. And they put it on the video here. It's like, boom! Look right here, we go. Just kind of awkward. There's Yay Samaki. He's the guy that flew in from Mali.
Here he is.
Sorry, we'll keep going.
Get ready for it.
There's our whole crew. And then if that wasn't enough, we said we want to create experiences. The last day, it was freaking amazing. We rented out Vivint Smart Home Arena, which was so cool. So we got our whole crew. We— and that's where the Utah Jazz play. So you'll see, we were on the floor, we're playing basketball. It was an absolute blast. Here we go.
Get ready for it.
We're at the Jazz Arena. I spoke for a second. Lincoln was there. I mean, it was just so fun. There's Mason, my business partner. We played horse. We played a 5-on-5 game. It was way fun. There's Randy Garn. So our last speaker of the night was Randy Garn. Incredible dude. He's friends with Dean Graziosi, Brendon Bouchard. The guy is the most— one of the most networked people I've ever met in my entire life. And he has a huge, I think it's like a $20,000 speaker fee. I convinced him to come and speak at our event, and he did an incredible job, talked about building relationships and all that kind of stuff. He spoke. This is my beautiful wife, Lauren, by the way. She came, she's awesome. We just had our baby boy, 6 weeks old. We'll keep going here. There's Mason. A lot of you guys don't know, that's Mason, my business partner. Awesome dude, he's kind of behind the scenes, he helps run this whole thing, incredible dude. There's our whole group right here. We had a lot of fun at Vivint Arena.
Yes, yes, this is it. Oh.
Bam, there it is. People ask me, how'd it go, Bridger? Like, how'd your event go? Number one, I think it went amazing. And everyone says that about their own event. But number one, it went as planned, which is always good. We didn't have anything really break. And number two, I, not to toot my own horn, but I loved how we set up the event. We didn't set up, I hate events that are set up just seminar style. You sit and you listen to the speaker. We want to set up an experience. And I think people got that. And we had a bunch of people get funded. Funds were helping. They were actually, we had, I think 3 deals were done at the event. People funding millions of dollars into different deals. Guys were raising capital, meeting people. And then as a bonus, they got to learn from other fund managers and other things. It was really cool to get a high-level group of fund managers in the same room as well. Now, a few things we announced at the event. Couple of things. We gave all of our Black Card members an NFT, proof of ownership that they're in Black Card. We gave them a physical card that showed that they were at the first Black Card event, which is pretty cool. We actually also launched our Inner Circle. So, our Inner Circle is a $50,000 program. You have to have a fund that has raised over $10 million to even apply to come in Inner Circle. We have, I think we have 25 spots. We currently have 23 applications for that program. We're launching that next year. And we just, that program really though is these are funds that are already running. This is for us. We want to travel around and meet together twice a year, just get some smart fund managers in the same room and just talk.
Yeah.
We're gonna go to cool locations. It'll be more around, not like an— this is kind of more seminar hybrid event. We'll literally just do fun stuff. We're gonna go, we'll be around the campfire. We'll go on helicopters and just do crazy fun because that's— I just like doing that stuff too. We'll go heliskiing. I mentioned that before. We'll just do crazy stuff like that and can hang out and talk about each other's funds, what's going on, what we see kind of. And I use that as well as stuff that I need to learn, right? Things that I don't know about in the hedge fund space or the sub-real estate, single-family real estate market that guys have huge $100 million funds in. So that's what we announced there as well, which is pretty fun. We had one other announcement that I'm not going to share publicly yet. It'll come out in a few weeks. That's gonna be really cool. You guys can get involved with it as well, and it's gonna be really fun. I think a lot of value we're gonna provide to you and the fund community in general, which we're doing. So anyways, there you go. There's the video. Hope you guys enjoyed, and maybe we'll see you guys at a future Black Card event. We plan to do 2 of these a year now, which is gonna be super fun. If you guys want to learn more about how to join, what to do, click on the link below. You can book a call with our team and figure out how to come to one of these events in the future. Hey, I know I stopped you guys a lot. Here's the video again if you want to watch the whole thing. I know I interrupted it a lot, so here you go.
Golden touch, time to light it up. Let's go! Get ready for it, get ready for it, get ready for it.
Yeah, this is it! Go!
