Welcome to my life and how it's gonna look for the next 4 quarters while I work on my Master of Music in Film Scoring. So I was just accepted to the Seattle Film Institute. Shout out to ranked number 4 in film scoring programs in the world. Hi, man. Hi, man, y'all. So I'm making this video because one, to share the news. I'm going to school. I'm so excited. It's a 1-year intensive program. I'm going to be a part of 9 recording sessions of my original works, and I— ah, it's just like so exciting. This has been 9 years, nearly a decade of percolating trial and error with the music industry, trying to find my perfect niche. And you know, there's a lot of things I've done that I love, and I will continue to do those things. Working on the Rookery recording of False identities right now, and that is going to be released prior to going to school. We're finishing up recording this next month or so. But I'm really excited because this has been on the back burner for just such a long time in my life. And I was in Australia at 18 years old when the thought came to my mind that this might be something for me in my life. And here I am now taking the plunge and sharing it with you guys. Another reason I am sharing this video with you is to ask Thanks for your help. And thank you, first of all, for everything that you've supported me in over the years. I had my Rookery debut show this March. Everyone who came out to that, it was a blast. Everyone who has like shared and listened to my music on Spotify, Apple Music, wherever, thank you for listening. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for saving, all of that stuff. Thank you so much. It has helped me gain a lot of confidence in the way I create my music and what I— the music I produce. So that's what I'm doing with film scoring. It's this perfect combination of composing alone and being my introvert self, but then getting to work with people in the studio and conducting them and producing music, which is what I love to do. So if you guys can help, I would love and be so grateful if you could chip in a few dollars towards my tuition and software expenses. I do have loans that I'll be taking out, applied for FAFSA aid, all that stuff. But, you know, the less I can take and borrow, the better. And I do right now need to make up about a balance of about $5,000 even with those loans. So that's like, you know, one like pinpoint I need to meet before school starts, and I'm applying to scholarships too. I have a few that I'm really hoping and banking on. I'm doing a lot of work with those, writing essays. I love to write, writing essays, making videos like I am here. So if I've impacted you in some way, I'm inviting you along in this next portion of my journey, which is getting a master's in music. And every time I think of that, I just smile. I've been on this like hyper-energetic Since I got off my interview a few hours ago with Hummie. And so, ah, see, I'm losing, I'm losing my train of thought. I'm just so stoked. If I've impacted you and if you believe in my message in music and what I'm doing, you can read about it more on my website. That's waspandfigsounds.com. You can follow me on Instagram. That handle is @therookerymusic. It's Same for us, Facebook. And you can, you can see more about what I've done and what my ambition is in music. So if you are open and willing to donate, I would be forever grateful. Otherwise, feel free to share this video, talk me up. I would love that. Let people know what I'm doing and where I plan on getting. So thanks, guys. I hope you're doing well during this time. Take care. Bye.
