Short video (Bunny Young) using horses as an extended analogy to advise business owners and professionals about adapting to changing circumstances rather than waiting for a single 'new normal.' Main messages: accept ongoing change, seek better environments (a 'greener pasture'), assemble the right team ('herd'), avoid wasting energy on fear, and act proactively to evolve with circumstances.

All right, so this is a little bit different of our normal videos because I have a special guest with me and not one of my normal special guests. But I thought it would be really cool to kind of illustrate from a different perspective the new normal. So there's this phrase that is going around on business owners and business professionals on what is the new normal. And C, with horses, if they were faced with a situation like this, they are going to go find a situation where they don't have food, a situation where they're in a threat. They're just going to go find a environment that better suits them or better fits them, or if they're faced with a horse that's not necessarily good for the herd, they're not going to really freak out about it. They're just going to take action that's going to be beneficial. Because any of that freaking out, any of that anxiety, any of that fear is going to be wasted resources and wasted energy. And so if you've settled on this idea of, well, it's fine, we'll just go back to this new normal, you could be missing an opportunity to, no pun intended, find a better pasture. But if you find a way to talk about your new environment and what you want in your new environment, if you think about it from a herd perspective, what you want in your team, what you want to include in this next chapter as you're moving towards this next greener pasture, this is all something that horses have been doing for 5 million years, and humans have not been so good at it for the past 200 years. If in the society or in our economy, if we just waited for the new normal when cars came along, and, well, I just won't buy a car because, you know, we'll go back to the new normal where everybody's going to be using horses. P.S. that would have been a huge. I would have voted for that. But there's a lot of people that were left behind because they assumed that cars wouldn't take off and that there would just go back to being what was normal. And in business and in life, we have had evolutions after evolution, after evolution. We will not be going back to what we had, and there's not going to be a new normal. There's going to be something. Something new, and then after that, there's going to be something new after that. So the best thing you can kind of do is surround yourself with a good herd, find the best environment you can, be as smart as you can with your resources and continue to make the world a better place. So, what do you think? Marbles. You agree? That was the part where you were supposed to do the head nod? We'll keep working on it for our next video.
