I have to show you this, and if I get through it without crying, like, it's going to seriously be a miracle. So my daughter had this creative writing assignment, and unbeknownst to me, the. I'm just going to share it with you so you can see. So I'm reading this, and it says, you know, topic, sentences, details, whatever. I'm like, okay, so select a person who has inspired or motivated you in life. This could be a famous person or a historical figure. Write a well written paragraph explaining why this person inspires you and how they've impacted your life. So at this point, I'm thinking to myself, huh? Well, she really does love Rosa Parks. And I know that she's a huge fan of Amelia Earhart. I also know that she named a truck after George Washington Carver. So I'm thinking, who could she possibly have chosen? And she didn't ask for my help with this, by the way. So you can kind of guess where this is going. So let's go back to it. So she types me, and this is how this. How do I explain this? Dude, I'm not gonna get through this without crying. This is how my daughter sees me. And I spent our last month encouraging you to ask your family, your friends, those close to you, to share with you how they see you. I've had a lot of loss in my life, and I think a lot of us have dealt with loss. Loss of job, loss of friends, loss of family, loss of relationships. And particularly this year, it's been an incredibly hard year. So don't. I'm gonna say this. Don't wait until your memorial service to find out what your family and your friends really think of what you do and the life that you're living. So I was thinking, okay, you know, like, if you watch the video on my YouTube channel, if you scroll down and find. When I asked my daughter what I did for work, she said, I took other people's jobs so they could spend more time with their family and friends. She. She went into a little bit deeper than that. But basically from this, she had to type my name. And then the two things that I do. And here are the two things that she believes that I do. Starfish thrower and animal lover. And she defines a starfish thrower as she helps people and she teaches businesses. And as an animal lover, she helps veterans using horses, and she trains and teaches about service dogs. So then she had to take this. And obviously, the A Better Place Consulting logo was not on her homework assignment. It's just on this video. So then she had to take this and go to organizing her ideas, which actually P.S. i'm just gonna go into business mode for a second while my phone should have been on silent. This is a really great way to organize your thoughts and ideas for blogs, for articles, or for videos that you're going to shoot, for clients and for content. So anyway, so she goes into this and she organizes her ideas. So let's see. So she says Bunny helps her family, friends, clients and animals with all of their struggles. I really hope that she means this is me talking. I'm not reading. But I really hope that, you know, the idea that my daughter feels that I help her with her struggles, nothing in the world means more to me as a mom. Just for the record, that helps give them courage to get to their dreams. Seriously, she's not even 10 years old. So amazing, amazing, brilliant individual that she believes that of me. So the details on this because I need to stop crying. She talks to them and helps them make a plan to reach their goals. She gives encouragement and helps to discover possibilities. She also shares her horse, Paul for veterans to enjoy. And if you follow me on Instagram, unniehas6legs, you've seen that Paul is a gigantic Clydesdale that we've gotten chiropractic and acupuncture for. And he's just an amazing soul. And yes, he is working with Lonesome Dove Veterans Writing center and we volunteer there together. And he's just doing amazing work. I'm very proud of him. And obviously veterans are extremely close calls to my heart, being a daughter and granddaughter and niece of veterans, as well as my husband being active duty. So. So the fact that she even incorporated Paul into this story, and that's not the only animal that she incorporates, but I digress. So her conclusion is, therefore, I'm very inspired to learn from Bunny so I can also help people and animals be happier and live their dreams. So this is her entire story. So now she has to bring it all together and write the entire story. I'm writing my story about a very inspiring person to me. Her name is Bunny Young Bunny helps her family, friends, clients and animals with all their struggles. That helps give them courage to get to their dream. She talks to them and helps them make a plan to reach their goals. She gives encouragement and helps to discover possibilities for them. She also shares her Clydesdale horse named Paul for veterans to enjoy riding and to have a nice time being around horses. Sometimes using animals can help. Can also help get. She can write. I just can't read. Can Also help get their mind off their troubles. Another thing, she knows a lot about our service dogs. She also has a Great Dane named Guinness who is her service dog. He helps her as well and helps teach people to discover more about them. Therefore, I'm very inspired to learn from Bunny so I can help people and animals live a happier life. Lastly, I hope to help people and animals live their dreams while having fun. She never once mentions that I'm her mom and rock. When you watch this and when I share this with you, I have to tell you that if that is what I do, the most amazing and best thing that I have ever done and the proudest thing I have ever accomplished in my life is being you and your sister's mama. Because you're changing the world, baby girls. And this was the best Christmas gift or gift that I've ever received. Is to see me through your eyes. And to everybody else watching me sob, I would encourage you to to see yourself through somebody else's eyes, because I am 100% positive you're not giving yourself enough credit. Even if you're confident, even if you wake up every day with a purpose and fall asleep every night feeling fulfilled, which is my goal, and I accomplish it pretty much day after day, there's still these little gifts, being able to see how other people see us. And I still receive thank you cards for stuff that, I mean, I got these thank you cards that have nothing to do with the holidays and just, you know, like, sending you hugs and want to get this right and this, like, unicorn we go together, like unicorns and glitter. I mean, that's honestly just something that is an incredible gift that I would encourage everybody to take advantage of is to get out of your head and have some conversations and be able to see yourself through somebody else's eyes. The work that I do with clients, sometimes I just see it as meetings and advice and resources. But then I get a letter in the mail and I realize that I've helped somebody transform their life. And I'm not saying that because I'm trying to brag about myself. I'm saying that to say that you don't always see the impact that you have. You don't always know. Obviously, I live with my daughter. I spend every day with her that this is how she feels. And so I am just incredibly grateful that she had this writing assignment and that she was able to put her thoughts and her feelings into words and share them with me. And I would challenge you to do that for three other people. So I want you to share this gift with three other people of sharing how you feel about them. And you can use this particular outline. I'll leave it in the downloads for you if you want in the video description so you can get it if you want and if you need that, but also ask three people. So thank you for sharing this with me. This was completely unedited. Completely, completely. Just me sharing this with you impromptu. I just wanted to be able to do that. So thank you for making the world a better place. Thank you for sharing this moment with me and I wish you a very happy holidays and I hope that you receive these kinds of gifts throughout the year to come and more.
