The Facebook Live. So hey difference makers, how do you like my new head ornament? I guess would be how we're gonna call it. So if you're watching this on Instagram, go ahead and put in the comments what you think about this new headpiece. As we are having people join us, I wanted to also remind you that this week the Differencemakers Life went live. And so make sure you check out Differencemakers Life because that teaser video has Amazing people like Dr. Tiffany, Janna, Jake Carpenter, Adele Spraggan, April Palmer, just amazing individuals. So please make sure that you go and check that out. So today's Live is about when things go wrong. So have you ever had anything go wrong? Like for example, on my Live for Instagram right now my headset is on my phone, but it wasn't in my ear. So for sure people have not been able to hear that for the past minute and 13 seconds that I've been recording. But a lot of things have gone wrong over the past couple months and I just thought we would own it and we would talk about it. And there's something that I wanted to share with you. So if you got the starfish story, you've already seen this, but I don't think you can hear it too much. So I want to read this to you and share this with you, especially if you're watching on Instagram Live and you can't see the poem that I'm going to give you. The poem's called Don't Quit when things go wrong as they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems all uphill, when the funds are low and the debts are high and you want to smile but you have to sigh when care is pressing you down a bit. Rest if you must, but do not quit as life is strange with its twists and turns, as every one of us sometimes learns the truth and many a failure comes about when he or she might have won had he or she just stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow, you may succeed with just another blow. Success is failure turned inside out. That's my favorite line out of this whole thing, this silver tint of the clouds of doubt and you never can tell just how close you are. It may be near when it seems so far, so stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, it's when things seem worse that you must not quit and whether you have more work than you can handle right now or whether you are wondering how you're going to survive. I think that that poem applies for both. It also applies for me as a parent when I realize that, you know, I'm not a homeschool teacher and it's very difficult. However, you know, that's I'm setting an example for my kids and I am just being present and continuing to show up and continuing to try. And so those are the, those are the times when we remember that things go wrong and things go right. There's a balance to life, but don't quit. So and when you're feeling overwhelmed about those kinds of things, remember your self care strategies. Remember to take care of yourself, especially when things go wrong. It can feel like this is when you need to shut down and like there's you just need to not try or you need to put so much effort in or you need to fix it. I had a conversation with a friend recently that we identified that we're both fixers. But I can tell you from working in social services that you know, you can only fix if you actively have something to pour from. And so, you know, please remember that there's the resources online, there's a ton of companies that are giving away free apps for mindfulness and meditation and self care. Of course there's the ebook that A Better Place Consulting just published that I wrote, how to Stay Sane During Insane Times. And that should go up on Amazon hopefully by the end of this week. And if you're struggling and if you feel like everything's just going wrong, you're having more bad days than good, reach out, let us know, put it in the comments, send me a message and let's have a conversation. Because you're not alone. And as a business owner right now, as a business owner, always, as a human, always, there are people here on your journey to support you. I have failed so many times and there are so many things that have gone wrong in the past couple weeks, in the past couple months, in my lifetime. But I'm still here and I believe that I'm a better human for it and a better mother, a better wife and a better business owner. And so with that belief in myself and my faith and my perseverance and resilience to not quit, as the poem said, we're going to get through this and we're going to make the world a better place. So that's what I have for you guys today. Thank you for being here, put in your comments, your motivational poem that is getting you through this. And yeah, Guinness is making the world a better place with his napping. So I don't know if you can see him on Instagram there. So thank you for making the world a better place.
