I believe there's a lot of overlap between training dogs and training your anxiety. I've got 2 fairly large dogs. We spend a lot of time out in the countryside, and I have walked past so many dog owners standing there with a lead whilst it's the dog that decides when they're going home. However, when I call my dogs, they are there by my side. I decide When we go home. So when you train your dogs, you have something that's reliable that you can control. And when you train your anxiety, again, you have something that's reliable, you're out of— you're under your control. Or the other alternative, you have something that controls you, and that can merely mean that it messes your day up. Learn to control your anxiety like a dog.
