Chapters
Feelings are words that we give to chemical reactions going on in the body. So if you're feeling really up, really bouncy, really happy, you've got a lot of dopamine flowing around in your system. If you're feeling down, depressed, it means that your dopamine levels are very low. If you're in love, you've got oxytocin flowing around in your system. flowing around your system. If you're scared, you've got adrenaline floating around your system. But we give these labels to these chemical reactions because again we've got duality. You know you're happy, you know you're sad, the fact that you now know it's dopamine almost is irrelevant. You have those feelings because of the chemicals that are there.
