When you wake up feeling sick and unmotivated, a big mug of tea and a three-mile walk with your dog can shift your mood in an hour. Fresh air, movement, and music work better than staying in bed, especially before something important.

So good morning, it's Tuesday morning. I've no idea, it's about 20 past 9, and the reason I've come and done this live video this morning is when I got up, pardon my language, but I felt like shit. I'd had a really disturbed night. I had every intention of getting up and doing a run this morning, but when I woke up I felt, you know, really sick, my body ached, and my motivation was somewhere below zero. And, you know, then that part of me that said, oh, you intended to do a run, you know, not keeping fit enough, blah, and on it went. And so I hauled myself out of bed, had my big mug of tea because I can't do anything without that, and went for a walk instead. So I've done, oh, I don't know, I've just turned my watch off, about, I think, just under 3 miles at quite a big pace. It's a beautiful morning, the dog was bouncing around, loads of people out, and 50 minutes later I'm I'm okay again. And so the message really is, you know, you can change how you feel. It would have been incredibly easy, very, very easy to stay in bed this morning and feel sorry for myself and, you know, get myself ready for my first client at 11. But even then, that client wouldn't have got the best of me. It was tough to get myself out, but it's picking up on those things. What is going to help you get to the place where you want to be? So, you know, sometimes for me it's listening to music, at other times it's, you know, it's very much exercise. Being out in nature is one of my big go-tos, and so, you know, take that on board. We all get up some mornings and that cloud is, you know, you might not just be hovering, you might be well and truly in it. I was this morning, but as I said, an hour or so later the clouds lifted, The day's beautiful, and I'm looking forward to making this day the best it can possibly be. And I hope you have a fantastic day too. Bye for now.
