A YouTube video/transcript (hosted by Catherine Bell and Titan Impact Group) connecting Benjamin Franklin’s founding of the U.S. postal system (July 26, 1775) to Titan Impact Group’s investment philosophy. The speakers recount Franklin’s postal reforms and use that history as a metaphor for Titan’s mission to ‘leave every person, property, and community better than we found them,’ describing their approach to buying and managing non-performing notes to protect borrowers and deliver investor returns.

My fellow compassionate capitalists, I've got to bend down a little bit so that the Canadian. Vanna White, Ms. Katherine Bell, and Steve from Titan Impact Group, we've got a few things to show you today. Quick little history lesson and then of course we'll turn it over to the chairman of the board, the one and only Katherine Bell. However, today, of course, we're going to talk about July 26, 1775, because guess what happened? I'm reading by candlelight now. United States Post Office was formed because of this man right here. Vanna, if you want to point that out, Benjamin Franklin. I know you can't really see it that well, but it'll make it interesting for future episodes. Anyways, today go ahead and feel free to show up all the Benjamin Franklin artifacts that we have. As I Read this, On July 26, 1775, the U.S. postal system is established by the Second Continental Congress of Benjamin Franklin. That's that guy right there. As its first Postmaster General, Franklin put into place the foundation of many aspects of today's mail system. During early colonial times in the 1600s, spooky. Few American colonists need to send mail to each other. Most of them couldn't even read or write, so that makes sense. It was more likely that their correspondence or letters written in Britain. Mail deliveries from across the Atlantic were sporadic and could take many months to arrive. There was no post offices in the colonies, so mail is typically left at the inns or the taverns because, hey, if you're drunk when or you're with your mistress, when's a better time to read your mail? In 1753, Benjamin Franklin, who had been postmaster of Philadelphia, Philly. You can try to take Ben from us, but hey, Benjamin was Boston born and bred. You're just lucky that he happened to die in Philly. He became one of two joint postmaster generals for the colonies. He made numerous improvements to the mail system and including setting up new, more efficient colonial routes and cutting delivery time in half between Philadelphia and New York. Who gives a crap about New Yorkers? It should have been between that and Boston having the weekly mail wagons travel both day and night via relay teams. The original pony Express. Franklin also debuted the first rate chart which standardized delivery cost based on distance and weight. In 1774, British fired Franklin from his postmaster job because it was revolutionary activities. He literally went postal. King George couldn't handle it, but we were going to make up for it here very shortly. The following year, he was appointed the Postmaster General of the United Colonies by the Continental Congress. Franklin held the job until late in 1776 when he was sent to France as a diplomat. Now, a little sidebar here. I'm going to go ahead and kind of wrap this up. Franklin was very important when it went to France because he was the original, shall we say, player. Benjamin Franklin would go and he would literally sleep with the aristocrats mistresses. Because of course, everybody knows if you're an aristocrat and you have some political pool and want to send money to America, you, you don't listen to your wife, you listen to your mistress. Very important that he did that. Some people may be down on it for a little bit, but hey, we're okay with that. And the mistresses have all the power. Maybe that's how come Catherine still refuses to marry me. Hey, I want it. I put a ring on it. She has yet to return the favor. Is it a power struggle? I don't know. All I do know is that thanks to Benjamin Franklin and the postal service of what we now enjoy today, Titan Impact Group may have to change its name. Why? Because just like the United States postal system when it comes to customer satisfaction and adding commas to bank accounts, we here at Titan Impact Group deliver. Go socks. Flawless segue. Let's hear it.
So what he's talking about is who we are as an investment company and what we do for our investors. So the biggest thing that we do is we leave every person, property and community better than we found them. And what we're finding is we've received over $8.5 billion in assets to analyze. And inside of this, that what's happening in the market behind the scenes, what is not being talked about in the news is that these hedge funds have got all this money that they need to move and they're buying these non performing notes for 95 to 97 cents on the dollar.
And so insane. A penny earned saved is a penny earned. They're coming all day. Go ahead.
So what that means for investors is any investors who are investing with those hedge funds and those 401ks is and their IRAs is that money is moving, investments are being made, but they're not being made at a profit. They're actually being made a loss. So what does that mean for investors? That means investors who are in those funds that they're getting charged whether the money makes money or not. In my world, that's not okay. So what he's talking about is we do the numbers and the numbers tell us what to do. So all the notes that we buy, we make sure that they absolutely work for our investors, for our, the customers, obviously, you know, and for us as well and the communities. So we are very committed to doing everything we can to work with the borrowers to make sure that they get to stay in their homes, which in turn helps keep the communities intact, which in turn keeps our investors happy. So. So it's just a win, win, win scenario. Every single place that we are. So again, we are leaving every person, property and community better than we found them. And as he was talking about, Mr. Benjamin Franklin made sure that he was a part of making that happen too. And keeping communities and everybody connected through the postal service. Pretty dang cool systems and structures all my favorite. And he did the numbers. Numbers told them what to do inside of setting up the storage structure of how much to charge for shipping and everything. So anyways, cool history facts.
So Catherine and Steve along with. It's not, it's not Uncle Ben. It's just regular Ben, I guess, along with Ben Franklin wishing you a great day and as always, may you never.
Awake from the American dream.
