Two people share memories of Bobby McFerrin: one saw him perform live at Davis, the other held his hand during the 1986 Hands Across America event and appeared as a child in one of his music videos playing a cute shark baby.
Back in like 19, I want to say. All right. Does anybody remember the date? The guy by the name of Bobby McFarland, black man with an Irish name. He was the one.
Be happy. I saw him live at Davis when I was at Davis. He came and I saw him live. It was awesome.
So we, I got to hold his hand in Hands Across America. Nice. When we had it and he was there and we sang, we sang that song on stage and I was in a little music video and. I was 8 years old, so I was, I was a cute shark baby and then grew up and lost all my teeth.
