Short excerpt from a YouTube video (uploaded by Catherine Bell, titled "February 22, 2023"). Two speakers discuss why one partner is driven to build and merge "empires"—the speaker praises the other's relentless ambition (calls them a "shark")—and identify vulnerability as a core challenge: men struggle with being vulnerable due to socialization, while women risk having their vulnerability hurt or exploited.

So I'd love really quick to know what your why is inside of. You've built an amazing empire. Why, you know, create it with. Create another empire with somebody else.
Well, I don't know if it's creating a different empire as much as it is just merging. I mean, you know, we were talking this morning on the. On the ride over about, you know, and I've said this a lot about what. One of the first things that attracted me to you was the fact that, you know, you. You're a shark. You never. You never stop moving. You're always building. You always have goals, You've always got dreams. You're always doing something to. To work towards that. And, you know, that helps in when it comes to complacency and everything else like that. That's what I was talking about. You know, you constantly, you know, want to play catch. You constantly throw that ball out so I can go. I can go fetch it, you know, but the thing that, I mean, if we cut straight to the heart of it, and this is probably the most. This is probably the hardest thing for both because. And it's vulnerability. It's hard for men because, you know, they have been told their entire lives that to be vulnerable is to be weak. And it's hard for women because even though they have no problem being vulnerable, they do get tired of men and other, you know, women and whoever else stomping on their vulnerability. It hurts, right?
