Catherine Bell built 13 passive income streams after losing everything to her husband's illness and an economic crash. She learned to read in eighth grade, used AI tools to write books, and launched businesses from hedge funds to real estate. After her husband's death in 2018, she founded nonprofits to place children in adoptive families, believing churches should each facilitate one adoption.

Who is Catherine Bell? Economy crashed and my husband got super, super sick and we ended up losing everything. And so I ended up having to go back to work to provide for our family. And that— it was during this time, like, I really got clear that the average millionaire had 7 streams of passive income. And I had to figure it out because I was working 80 hours a week, coming home, taking care of my very sick husband, my twins. And it just— I couldn't— it wasn't sustainable. Yeah, I did. Yeah, I, uh, so in my— I was born to a 14-year-old mother, and I was in and out of more homes than you could possibly count and went to 13 different schools and didn't actually learn to read till I was in 8th grade. And I still struggle with reading today. And so when a friend of mine came along and showed me how I could use some AI tools to be able to get that all out, all of a sudden, like, all the things in here were unleashed and I was able to use those tools to be able to write my books, to make an impact. And you've sold, you've sold copies of your books. Yeah. So my books are, um, my books. Started my own hedge fund. We did vacation rentals. Then I did ground-up residential developments, ground-up commercial developments. And, uh, in 2018, uh, my husband died very tragically, leaving me a widow and a single mom. And this is where Impact comes from. So Impact, during that time, because I created 13 streams of passive income for our family, I was able to take a year off and just grieve with my twins. And I got really clear during that time about a couple of things. One, chasing money wasn't the answer. Moving forward, any project I had anything to do with needed to leave every person, property, and community better than we found them. So I formed two nonprofits. So I believe that God has me on this planet, literally, to get these 120,000 children adopted. And so there's 2.1 million families currently looking to adopt, and they don't know about this type of adoption. And between that and the 100— there's more than 120,000 congregations in this country that are all called to take care of orphans and widows. And so if each church takes on finding one family to adopt one child, we can get this done in our lifetimes.
