Live Q&A: Deep Dive: Releasing Blocks and Building Momentum - Replay | Titan Impact Group

This is a replay of a live Q&A (YouTube) hosted by Laura (standing in for Catherine) featuring Abigail Morris (holistic life coach, Reiki master) and Courtney Martin. The session recaps a prior webinar about internal limiting beliefs and a somatic healing practice, then answers audience questions on: identifying and releasing blocks (money blocks, shame, self-doubt), somatic regulation strategies, responding to triggers from current events, and concrete action steps. The session closes by offering a free assessment (QR/link) and a Calendly invite plus a Facebook community page for follow-up.

All right, welcome, everyone. This is the Q and A session for the wonderful webinar that we had on Tuesday with Abby and Courtney. I'm Katherine, cleverly disguised as Laura or the other way around. Catherine's traveling today, so I'm going to turn it over to. To Abby and to Courtney. And we're glad that you're here.
Awesome. Well, thank you, Laura, disguised as Catherine. We are glad. Glad to be here again as well. I'm going to go ahead and share my screen and, and get the slide presentation up and then we'll get started.
Right?
Okay. So again, thank you for joining us today. We are so glad to be here. A little introduction about myself. My name is Abigail Morris, and I am a holistic life coach and a Reiki master. Oh, there's family. You see that?
I do, yeah. Lindsay said family. Awesome. Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and. Can y' all see the box or is it. Is it covering my screen? Oh, I've got Lee said, my family and friends and the opportunity to live today authentically. Awesome. Good, good. And Courtney, slow paced snow days. Yeah, we are having a snow day. Right? We've had a snow week in Florida right now. Everything's shut down. It is crazy. So, yeah, it's been. It's been interesting, for sure. All right, so let's go ahead and get started. Welcome back. For those of you that joined us on Tuesday, we are glad to be here again. And today we're gonna help g you gain some additional clarity and just be here for you guys. Let you know that you're not alone on this journey. Wherever you are in your journey, we are here to help. We are glad to be here with you in this moment and we cannot wait to answer any questions that you guys have today. So what we're going to do today is we're going to do a quick recap of what we discussed on Tuesday. Then we're Going to move into a live Q and A session. And then after that, we will provide a tool for you guys that you can utilize to help catapult yourself into the rest of the year on the best foot forward. What do we talk about on Tuesday? So on Tuesday we talked about internal blocks or limiting beliefs. These are all of the no's when you mean yes. That's what we're talking about. We're talking about the self doubt that prevents you from doing something that you really want to do. The fear behind that, any feelings of unworthiness. I'm not good enough. I'm not smart enough. I don't belong at this table. I don't deserve to receive nice things anytime. You settle for less than you deserve and you don't speak your truth. Those are all your blocks and they are based off of limiting beliefs of unworthiness, most likely. And all of that is tied to traumas from your past. Okay, micro traumas. We talked about small traumas, like somebody making you embarrassed unintentionally about something as simple as your singing. Or bigger traumas which we can all think of. Abuse, neglect, and those kind of things. But our life is shaped by all of these moments in our past. And what happens when. When we receive some type of trauma, it skews our vision of the world and it skews our perception on what we really believe. We, we are worthy of receiving. Therefore, we do not live authentically. We often don't follow our passion. We don't say yes as much as we want to because of these traumas that are shaping the way that we view ourselves. So after we talked about that on Tuesday, we then went into a somatic healing process. So we connected with our body because we are reminded that most of us are living in our mind instead of connecting with our body. And our body holds a lot of wisdom. It also holds all the energy of our repressed emotions and our traumas. So we connected with our body. We connected with those emotions of fear and unworthiness and anxiety. And then we allowed them to be there. We sent them love. We did a little visualization taking us back to that younger version who might have experienced that trauma. And we just sent it love. And through this process, we alchemize that dense energy. And because love is the antidote to fear, love is the antidote to unworthiness. And so through this healing technique and process, we extinguish that flame of fear and we ignite more love. And that allows us and empowers us to make our Nos yeses and to walk more fearlessly in our life and to hold the vision of who we want to be. So who is this limitless version of you? What do you do? How do you act? What's your daily routine? Who and how do you get there? So who are you in your wildest dreams? How do you get there? And the truth is, you get there through healing all those limiting beliefs, through loving yourself and nurturing yourself in a way that allows you to expand instead of contract. So for the rest of the session, we're going to spend a few minutes allowing you to answer or ask any questions that you have for Courtney and I. And then before we close out, we will offer you a free tool that's going to help propel you into do the rest of this year on the best foot forward. So I'm going to open up my chat and you guys come on with the questions. Let's see here. Oops. All right, so the chat's open. I don't know if people can come online. I think it's likely just throw them in the chat. So go ahead, throw any questions you have in the chat for us. You know, from limiting beliefs. Some examples that we have here are. The one we have on the screen right now says, how do I know that I fully released a block as an example. Ask anything about healing, about mindset, about my past, Courtney's past, our program, anything that you can think of to help you propel yourself and shift your mindset into a more empowered version. Exam. Lee says examples of limiting beliefs would be great. Some are obvious to me, but I'm sure that there are some that aren't obvious. Yeah, that's a great question, Lee. Thank you. So a lot of our limiting beliefs can. Some of them are around money, which I know Courtney can talk to, not thinking I'm worthy of following after that job or worthy of charging that amount. And a lot of times our limiting beliefs around money specifically are actually tied to our. Our feeling of unworthiness, not being good enough, not being, you know, deserving of receiving. So money blocks are a big one when it comes to limiting beliefs that are tied to unworthiness. Shame is also a huge limiting belief, and it kind of permeates throughout our life in conscious and unconscious ways. If we hold internal shame, we automatically limit our ability to receive certain types of abundance, whether it's love, success, wealth, that career. It really permeates throughout everything. Other limiting beliefs include things like self doubt, just, am I on the right track? I don't feel like I'm on the right track, or knowing that you're on the right track, and then all of a sudden just being like, am I? Does this even make sense? What am I doing? Just questioning your truth. Those are some examples of limiting beliefs, Courtney. Do you have any others you want to add to that?
Yeah, I'm not smart enough. I'm not good enough. I can't do, you know, I can't do whatever it is, you know, a fun limiting belief exercise that I like to do with my clients is how much money do you want to make this year? Okay, so I want everyone to come up with an, you know, whatever. Whatever they think that they, you know, want to make can make whatever this year. What would that number be? Everyone has a number, right? How much do we want to make in the year 2025? So once you have that number, then I want you to ask yourself this question. If there were no constraints, if you could make the amount that would be life, lifestyle changing income. If you could just like, like the amount that, like, you only in your dreams, you know, that amount of money, that absurd amount of money, what would that be? You know, life change, lifestyle changing income. So whenever you have that amount, I want to see in the chat if the second amount was larger than the first amount. Just say yes. Or it was. Or the second amount larger.
Yes. Yeah. Okay, sounding.
So the first set, that, that, that is an example of a limiting belief. Okay, so what happened was when I asked you the first question and I said, how much would you like to make this year? You. You went right brain on me. And you went rational, logical, and you went, okay, based on what I made last year and like, what I have, you know, in the pipeline, what I have going on this year, realistically, I could make this amount, right? But then when I asked you the second one, you turned off rational, you turned off logical, and you went, ah, man, if I had, you know, if I can make any amount, you know, if I win the jackpot, you know, it would be this amount, and it was much larger. Because your limiting beliefs, when I asked you the first time, stopped you from dreaming, stopped you from saying, yeah, I can, I can make whatever I wanted. Opportunity is that endless. Opportunity is out there. And that's what limiting beliefs do. They stop you from going for it. And because it's that negative self talk, you know, that, that limiting belief system that we all have. But it's really interesting how tangible these belief systems are. And they're not real, they're. They're not true. The Fact is, you can make much more money than you realistically think that you can, but those limiting beliefs stop you. So I love that exercise because it really shows us. Wow. Yeah, they, they, they do. They have some, they have a hold on us and they don't. It doesn't have to be that way.
Well, and you know, it's funny because when, when, when I think about those, I auto. I automatically felt a restriction in my throat. And that is where my limiting beliefs, like I feel them in my body. Which is why that somatic exercise that we did on Tuesday is so helpful because I feel the restriction there. And for me, that's like my throat chakra. So that's me speaking my truth and being vulnerable and open. But, but that's where I felt it. And I think this is a great example. Like, we are always working on ourselves. People that have all the money in the world, they still have these limits and restrictions that they find within themselves that they have to work through. And the difference between a lot of people that make that success and go that extra mile and take courageous action is because they've worked through the, their limiting beliefs. They've worked through the fear. And when they have one that pops up, they're still willing to acknowledge, wow, you know, that's, that's here and do the courageous action anyways. And I think that's, you know, one of the, the big. One of the beautiful things about doing work on yourself and you know, working on self actualization is you can see your patterns a lot more clearly and you can see what's happening and you don't allow them to restrict you like they used to. Which I think is what, you know, I, I love sex self actualization. That's like my, you know, I love working on myself. I love seeing where I still, you know, restrict when it comes to movement or something like that. And, and then I like pushing myself.
We have another question.
Speaking of seeing our actions, do you have any advice on actions to take in the moment when we recognize that we are thinking a limiting thought or behaving in a way that contracts or contracts ourself rather than expands ourself? Yeah, that's a great question. One of the first things that I do when I am feeling a contraction or like whatever it is that limiting belief popping up or feeling, you know, attacked or something, I realize that, like, these are old patterns for me as well. Feeling that anxiety and that fear. Those are, at this point, those are based on a lot of these old belief systems that I've worked through. But when I feel them come up, I will absolutely help. I will do something to help regulate my nervous system, because that contraction is. Occurs because I'm kind of going into fight or flight. So I will take a few deep breaths, close my eyes, just really get present in the moment. I might step outside. You know, if I'm talking to somebody, I might just say, hey, listen, I just need a couple minutes to process this information, you know, and I allow myself to process what's going on within me because historically, I've spent most of my life resisting and rejecting those feelings of insecurity or unworthiness or fear. So just allowing them to be there in the moment is so super, super powerful. All right, thanks for the great question, Courtney. We've got about five more minutes before I hop to the next slide. Do you have any closing remarks on that or want to touch on that one?
Just one thing that I. I just recently learned is I've always taught and myself and clients, you know, dispose of limiting beliefs, get rid of the. That negative self talk. You become aware of it, and then you can get rid of it. But Abby, you taught me. No, you don't. It's not an automatic pro. You have to become aware of them, but you also have to just sit in it for a little bit. Just sit and send it love and then dispose of it. But you. You can't bury it because if you bury it, then it's going to keep coming back up. So you do have to acknowledge it and work through them. So I think a lot of times we say dispose, get rid of limiting beliefs, but really it's working through them and processing them and, and finding that place of love and then. And then, you know, expanding.
Yeah, absolutely.
Thank you.
And then a quick question from Lindsay. She said, what if you are being triggered by current world events on a regular basis and it's impacting your daily joy? Great question. The f. I think we can all, A lot of us can understand that. One of the things that I have done is I. I understand that I can only control what I can control. So I. I limit myself to external triggers, whether it's media that's just throwing, you know, a lot of this negativity around, because I realize that the only thing I can control is my internal world and my internal environment. And there are things outside of me that I can change. But hearing all the negativity all the time puts me out of balance. So I take my power back. I limit how much content I'm taking in around me and I do what I can do in my life, in my world, to keep myself healthy, balanced, and at peace. And then I, you know, I just try to shine the light of love to those around me because I realize I can't change other people. I can't change what's happening. All I can do is manage myself and control what's going on inside of me.
I love that. Control the controllables.
Absolutely. All right, guys, so what I'm gonna. I have here on the screen now, this is a QR code that's going to take you to a free assessment that Courtney and I have for you guys. It will help you gauge where in your life you are still limiting yourself. Okay? So take the assessment. Use that as your stepping stone this year to guide you in your healing. Courtney's also put the link in the chat. In addition, at the end of the assessment, there is a link to a calendly invite that you can schedule a one on one that Courtney and I can use to go over your assessment with you. But use this as a stepping stone for you to catapult yourself into the life that you want. Because the truth is, guys, you hold the power. You hold the power to your future. You are not as powerless as sometimes we feel. So taking your power back, doing the steps that you know can help catapult you into the life that you want is. It's for you. This is your life. Take control of it. Okay? You can do these things one step at a time. Okay? We're not doing a whole, you know, that doesn't all have to happen today. Just one day at a time. In addition to that, follow us on our Facebook page. Courtney and I have a golden mindset page. Go join. Join us on there. We've got the link in the chat as well. And guys, do, do the thing. Say yes.
