In this short, the speaker recounts a recent networking event where, within an hour of arriving in the deal room, they encountered a woman who claimed she had been praying to meet them. This unexpected connection proved pivotal: the woman arranged a final meeting with a billionaire who was actively doing deals. The anecdote illustrates how a seemingly serendipitous, personal rapport—highlighted by the woman's sincere prayer—can serve as a powerful networking hack, granting access to high‑value opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.

Are you in the deal room? Within an hour of being there, we ran into somebody we seen at another event. She's like, oh my God, I've been praying about meeting you guys. And she literally became the last meeting we had before we left where we talked to that billionaire. So the girl that we met, like within an hour of being there, who's like, oh my God, I was praying about you guys, was able to get us on a table with a guy that has a billion, you know, who's a billionaire and doing deals. So it's like, oh, okay, that's how that works.
