Pretty impressive for a white guy.
Hey, it's Steve and Catherine here. And as you can tell by the, the hat and the ridiculous props, cheesy props that we're going to be doing today and stuff, we're giving you a quick little history lesson and then we'll go ahead and, and let Kathryn take it away with the good stuff. So what does this little, I guess, statue of liberties.
There.
And of course we have a little mask from Veracruz. What do these two have to do? Well, today, 5th of May, 1861. Well, actually it was 1861 when President Benito Juarez took over Mexico and the country was in a shambles. The monetary system was just nuts. They were in default with several European countries, including Britain. Spring spraying. It's a new country. Hey, it's a new world. Britain, Spain and France. Well, Britain and Spain went ahead and, and they settled the debt, but France was like, no, we're not going to, we're going to go ahead and invade Veracruz. And so they did. So today, May 5, 1862, the people who made this took on the great, great, great, great, great grandchildren of the people who made this over at Pueblo de Los Angeles. And guess what? The outnumbered Mexican army was able to fend off the French. And today we celebrate Cinco de Mayo because of this war that probably you didn't really know about why we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but because of this them able to fight off the French. We can go through the drive through at Taco Bell today and not have to order a bean and cheese croissant enchilada style. So let's, let's celebrate today. Go grab your, your bag of on the border chips. Go order a Corona. I'm sure the counterculture will try to cancel that, but, but, and you know we will. I'll just. Well, I'm going to have my chips. I'm celebrating Cinco de Mayo. I'm going to let Katherine tell you some really exciting things that we are celebrating that has more to do with Titan impact. It wasn't quite the flawless segue that I wanted, but come on, it kept you interested. And besides, Antonio Banderas cannot even do it. Who is in boots impression as well as me. Mi amor.
So what's fascinating about Cinco de Mayo is knowing. Understanding the whole financial distress that Mexico was in. And here we are, you know, our country is in financial distress. There's been trillions of dollars pumped into our economic system that's a lot of pesos, that. Right. And the impact that it's actually having on our culture and what's coming into the future. And what we're seeing is some huge movement in the banking system. Just to give you an idea, on Monday, the first Monday in May, we received. We received a ton of assets. I don't know the exact number of actual assets, but what I do know is that the value of him is well over $1.1 billion.
What?
In assets? Yes. That seems b. We had a record month Monday of the month.
Yeah, we had a record last month. 300 million in one day. More than tripled it. Sorry, didn't mean to steal your thunder there. I'll shut up. I'll have another ship.
So our team is doing the due diligence on all those, analyzing those, working as hard as we can work. We've got our investors who are all lined up for us to be able to match them up their investment money up with these assets. So basically, we're making their money work harder than they do and adding commas to their bank account. We love to send our investors money out there and have it come back with lots of friends. But here's what's really extraordinary about all of this. This was the bigger revelation that I want to share with everybody and is gratitude, the gratitude for what we have. I personally, quite frankly, suck at celebrating all the little wins. It's true. I am a nerd. I, you know, I'm workaholic. I work like mad. I love what I do, so it never feels like work. It actually does feel like fun for me anyway. Steve Fiesta, he loves to celebrate, so he's good for me. So here's what's really extraordinary is that, you know, we've really taken on celebrating all the little things, being grateful for all the things. So when, you know, God and the universe are conspiring to have all of our dreams come true, you know, well, Steve makes my dream, but other people's dreams, you know, you're just off of my dreams. That having that gratitude is extraordinary in the sense of. It's like, you know, when we just say thank you, thank you for all the little things that are happening. It is extraordinary in, like, my. In my world that it's like the floodgates opened and just more just keeps pouring in like you could never begin to imagine. So much extraordinary stuff is happening. I would love to share, but I would get myself into trouble. But really, really exciting stuff. So stay tuned because I will be able to talk about it. At some point. So I'm super excited about that. But with that, be grateful. What are you grateful for? I'd love to know. Please share all the little things that you're grateful for and what you're celebrating. Find something today to celebrate, even if it is just Cinco de Mayo because it's fun.
Go pump some money into this economy.
