Real Estate Investment Halloween Horror Stories #2 - The Theives

Hey everybody. Steve and Catherine, the Countess of Cash is back. And with our second part of the haunted investment Stories from hell, story number two, the thieves.

So what Steve's talking about is it actually happened the same night at two completely separate Airbnbs. There was a booking website that we were using, it was new at the time to this and had some glitches in it. And as a result the verification process somehow got missed. And so both Airbnb has got booked and I guess the ID or something hadn't been verified or whatever through the website which we were counting on. Anyway, so the people arrive and everything and then they leave. And the next day we discover when they left they took a few souvenirs which included the giant big screen TVs, several of them.

And maybe they heard you were an interior decorator.

Furniture and a whole bunch of memorabilia. So when we went to go track them down, then the whoever credit card it was reported that the credit card had been stolen. So not only were we missing all of the items, we couldn't track the people down. We also missed out on the actually getting paid for them actually staying there. So that was an extremely expensive, painful horror story that we had to deal with.

Maybe there's some of you that can relate out there if the joy and profit has been stolen out of your portfolio. And let's face it, who hasn't? Allow us to make restitution by securing real estate backed notes. No one ever gets away with stealing from the bank, right?

And what I love is that we are the bank. We love being the bank.
