A scammer worked a wealthy crowd at an event, moving from person to person trying to swindle people the speaker knows through poker games and car rallies. The speaker calls it bumblebeeing: buzzing from one rich person to another within their own circle.
Are you ready to run this deal? And little kids come to my door scamming me for a dollar, a rock, to $150,000 scammer sitting at this event last night, bumblebeeing from every millionaire. Like, I knew all the people he was trying to, you know, talk to. It's not like I went up to a stranger. It was like, oh yeah, he's a scammer. No, I was going to people that I play poker with, that we do car rallies with. Like, he was literally trying to bumblebee every rich person we knew. And I'm like, bro, you are literally like— and it was making me mad. I was so mad about it.
